They just admitted the vanished project access was “our mistake” and my submitted work “won’t count” — no compensation offered

Just got the “official” answer on the disappearing Ody/Minvr projects and it’s worse than a bug.

Support told me I was added to Ody “in error,” my access has been “corrected” (i.e. removed), and any tasks I submitted under it “will not be used or counted toward the project.”

So let’s be clear about what that actually means: I spent real hours — building full task bundles from scratch, debugging their own verifier/reward-file format through trial and error because there’s no schema documentation, fixing Dockerfile issues, rewriting config files multiple times — and none of it counts. Not because the work was bad. Because THEY assigned me to a project I was never supposed to be on, and now I eat the cost of their assignment mistake.

No compensation mentioned. No “here’s how we’ll make this right.” Just “we appreciate the time you put into the work” and that’s apparently it.

If you’re newer to this platform and put in real hours on Ody or Minvr, I’d get clarity on your access status NOW before you sink more time in. Ask support directly whether you’re actually authorized, in writing, before you build anything else.

Anyone else get this same message? Curious how widespread the “error” actually was. (Assuming this post survives — wouldn’t be surprised my post on the main Reddit channel got pulled.)
