Variegated Aloe nobilis 6 months of growth!

I can’t believe how well the fully variegated rosette is doing despite having no green whatsoever!

70% Rubbing alcohol for mealybugs infestation on agaves?

So i have the situation that my agave collection got a mealybug infestation. Based on my research people use 70% rubbing alcohol dabbing or dilute it with water and dawn soap and using it as a spray. I was wondering, if anybody have any experience using directly the 70% rubbing alcohol as a spray? would it affect the farina of the agave? Reasoning is that the infestation is quite bad and i want to attack it more aggresively

What are these white spots? How to cure!

Hello everyone. Anyone know what this white stuff is on my two plants? It has killed a Celsii multicolor that I had. I would like to get rid of it. Thank you

The tall death bloom of a Parry's Agave last week on Eubank

Also known as Century Plants (like other Agave), because they take years and years to bloom, then they die. Last 2 pics are tiny birds who were all over the red yucca plants below it.

Octopus agave — Agave vilmoriniana

Only a couple years old. I got this from a lady who does landscape work stuff and collects cool plants. I came to her house after I just purchased some other agaves and ended up giving her one or two. After that she gave me a bunch of plants she wanted to get rid of. I left with a yucca, myrtillo cactus, large opuntia logs, and an octopus agave in a red solo cup.

Not sure on the ID. Planted in a mostly shaded corner.
