Need BS stall advice plz!
Somewhat a bit of a repost from my IG (hi if some of you are in here too) but genuinely looking for tips and advice on the backside stall and pumping in general I suppose, I feel like learning grinds on ledges is a simple science but weightlessly floating onto coping like everyone does is pure mysticism!
Big Q: do I ride the transition all the way and then engage core, pick up feet and twist for the 180 once I'm past the coping? (I'm sure that's what I'm trying in the video)
Or
Do I pump hard and late and do a mini 180 hop before reaching the coping so that I land on it?
Edit: fantastic advice everyone, thank you, exactly the sorts of responses I was hoping for. Hope it's not upload pollution if I post an update trying to incorporate all this great advice in a few days.
Happy rolling
Can Intuition downsize an already snug fit?
Assuming you already have a snug/ideal fit with a stock liner/shell, would using an intuition skate premium liner allow you to go down 1 size number?
practice sesh on the coping box
dialing in some new skates
Ledge was literally melting today, but I had a “grate” sesh anyway! 😆
Montre Livingston - CapCon 2026
Montre won Captains of Concrete here in Atlanta a few weeks back. This is one of his final runs. Dude was shredding on quads too!
If you're around Atlanta next Summer, come check it out! #sk8tl
Set out on a mission today to get this true fish. Vibin with the sunset.
Dishin’ out the trix
Some R and R over the weekends past, much needed.
Finally getting the hang of some things after getting back on the skates, this is my fourth session of about 20/30 minutes. You can see that i struggle to think of what to do by the end of the clip.
I love these new skates and they love me back!!
Took a huge bail recently and smashed my elbow and hip, i was drunk, which didnt help the fall but helped forget how it happened

Cruising a bowl in 90 mm wheels is the shiiiiit
New USD Sways-poor plastic processing lead to early catastrophic failure
These skates have maybe 5 or 6 sessions on them and this happened. Both skates. Could have been a really bad day, but I noticed before they failed further.
My last skates were USD Dustin Latimers over 20 years ago...
I started looking for some new skates so I can skate with my 9 year old. I saw another post about USD Sway having a shit boot because the plastic is weak. Now I feel like I should ask the community what got enshittified.
To be honest I probably won't skate as hard as I used to, but I don't want some bullshit either.
Should I not get USDs? They were my favorites.
I remember having:
Rollerblade Chocolates (I didn't think I would like these as much as I did)
A couple of different pairs of Solomons
K2 Fatty, then that other K2 that was smaller.

Remove the mesh on CJ2?
I have a pair of CJ2 and I’m curious as to wether it’s possible to remove the mesh? I mean what’s underneath ? It looks like they just glued it on top of what was on the 1st model. Has anyone tried?
Little discovery on the 901 is that the squeaking from the Intuition liner is almost totally gone because the inside of the shell isn’t shiny. 909s are so friggn loud.
Another one on the bandwagon
One more old guy back on the skates after decades. Tale as old as time, did this a bunch in the 90's, stopped for whatever reasons. Been mountain biking and bmx for a several years, wife rocks quads and I decided to dig my early 2000s k2 Fatty Pros out of the closet and go with her for shits and grins. Bought those K2s in '04 or so and rode them once, trying to impress the same girl, and then put them in the closet, after 2 times out the glue started coming apart and the foam felt like garbage. But those 2 times were enough to set the hook and now here we are, 3 weeks later, at a skatepark that didn't even exist the last time I skated, pushing anti-rocker for the first time in over 30 years on a brand spanking pair of Roces M12's because I always wanted some as a kid. Good times.
Setup
The swag is on, just wanted to show my setup with prism straps from my good friend. It really compliments those liners. 💪💪
