Purchasing Air Purifier for NCR pollution
I am looking to buy a air purifier for a bedroom during NCR pollution and looking for advice based on below parameters
- Room Size around 225 sq ft/-
- Most use during nights
- Want a model which can quickly clean air especially during severe pollution days
- HEPA 13 Filter
- Filter cost should be reasonable (<3500)
- Easy to service and get filters
- Budget Max 12000-/
- Good to have longer warranty of parts
I don't to build a air purifier myself due to hastle and time.
Thus, I have selected below models and went through few online reviews
Coway AirMega AIM
Preferring this as I can keep this over a shelf and change direction as per usage.
Remote can be used for operation. 7 year motor warranty.
Cons
Not having any app support
No real time display of PM2.5 numbers.
Expensive
I have seen some reviews saying the noise at top speed is quite high
Qubo Q400
It seems the model is pretty good for filtration and has prefilter. App support is there and filter cost is reasonable
Cons: App is buggy and lags
Philips AC0920/950
Already purchased Philips AC 0950 in Jan 2026 this year for a elderly room. I am satisfied with the same but don't want to purchase another same model. No experience of filter change or any service experience. Also looking for a one with more CADR and can be used in larger rooms.
Xiaomi 4 Lite
It seems this one is good air purifier but this is using Electrostatic charge filter and not Hepa H13 filter
Cons: Xiaomi models keep on replacing so filters may not be easily available.
Eureka Forbes 355
The one is good but the size of the purifier is little large.
Not sure of the reviews and app experience but the price is attractive.
I didn't find any good efficiency of any Honeywell models and Dyson models are expensive, so not considering them.
Need advice especially from who have used any of these and recommend considering NCR severe air quality during the winters.
