Pro 2 V5.3 TB from Hicity FAILED

How come the Pro 2 V5.3 TB from Hicity failed after 3 months lol? Right side AirPod no longer Works, the left side wont automatically connect either.. Is this a HiCity thing or is it the same for all ? I can’t update for new firmware because it keeps saying needs to 2 ear buds connected but the right side can’t connect because it cannot charge !!

The AirPods Pro I bought for 40$ at some flea market which was also a clone has been working non stop for 3 years with non stop abuse. And dare I say better audio quality !!

AirPods

So I’m planning to buy a new pair of AirPods but I don’t have a very big budget, I was thinking on the pro 3 v5.5 but then saw that some people said that it wasn’t good and not worth it.
So my question is it really that bad? Because I’m used to those cheap 10-20 usd AirPods from like YM store
I’m only going to use them for like music, gym, school and general

Is this a good alternative to (V6 TB)?

Id used the V6 TB Before I’m wondering if this is a good cheaper alternative.

Q: Does it have similar ANC performance?

V7 EQ

Use the following, and your V7s will sound as good as they possibly can(+Spatial Audio)

V7 HUILIAN from Earhive

Huilian V7 — Veteran Review / Full Feature Set, Weak Stock Tuning
After spending enough time with the Huilian V7 to properly test the features and daily usability, here’s my review.
I’ve also compared the sound against the V5.3 TB and V6 Huilian, so I’ll focus on where the V7 actually stands rather than just listing its features.
TL;DR
The V7 is probably one of the more impressive Huilian releases when it comes to features and overall stability, but the sound tuning is its main weakness.
If you want the most complete feature set and a stable Apple-like experience, the V7 is very good.
If your priority is sound quality, I’d still take the V5.3 TB or V6 Huilian.

🔊 Sound — 6.5/10
This is the biggest weakness of the V7.
Stock tuning is not particularly good. Without EQ, I find the sound too sharp, somewhat congested and lacking bass.
The bass is noticeably weaker than what I’d recommend for someone who likes a bass-heavy presentation.
The good part is that the mids and highs are relatively clear, and the V7 responds quite well to EQ. Using EQ in Starfun + Spotify can improve the sound substantially.
With a good EQ, they can sound genuinely good, but even then I wouldn’t put them above the V5.3 TB or V6 Huilian.
For sound alone, my ranking would be:
V5.3 TB / V6 Huilian > V7 Huilian
If you’re a basshead, I would not recommend the V7.

🔇 ANC / Transparency
ANC: 8/10
Transparency: 8/10
Both are very good.
ANC does a convincing job and Transparency sounds natural enough for everyday use. These aren’t features I’d consider a major compromise compared with the better retail-like implementations.
Spatial Audio is also very good.
The V7 definitely feels like a feature-focused batch rather than a batch where all the effort went into audio tuning.

📱 Features — Excellent
This is where the V7 really stands out.
The V7 basically has the full retail AirPods Pro 3 feature set, with the important exception of real Find My.
Tested / working:
iCloud connection
Automatic Ear Detection
Controls
ANC
Transparency
Spatial Audio
Heart-rate monitoring
Stable pairing/connection
No random disconnects
No significant bugs
The iCloud connection works normally and has been stable for me.
Heart-rate monitoring also works correctly in my testing, which is another nice addition to an already very complete feature set.
The only major feature limitation I’d point out is that Find My isn’t real Find My.

🔗 Connectivity / Stability
Very good.
I haven’t experienced random disconnects or annoying connection bugs.
The iCloud connection is stable and the overall experience feels much closer to the Apple ecosystem than what you normally expect from reps.
Automatic Ear Detection works properly and the controls respond as expected.
This is one of the areas where I’d rate the V7 above many older Huilian releases.

🛠️** Build Quality — 9/1**0
Build quality is excellent overall.
The buds feel solid, they’re comfortable, and the case is well built.
One interesting detail is the metal hinge. It feels much closer to the TB-style hinge and is noticeably different from the older Huilian hinge or the Apple original.
Personally, I don’t consider it a problem, but it’s worth mentioning because people familiar with previous Huilian batches will notice the difference.
Overall:
Build: 9/10

👂 Comfort
Comfort is good and I can use them for longer listening sessions without major issues.
The fit is also good and I don’t have any complaints about the physical design.

🎤 Microphone
The microphone is good.
It’s not the main reason I’d buy the V7, but it’s perfectly usable for calls and doesn’t feel like a major weakness of the batch.

🔋 Battery
Battery life is slightly below retail.
It’s not terrible and hasn’t been a problem for me in daily use, but it’s definitely one area where I wouldn’t expect retail-level endurance.

Pros
Extremely complete feature set
Almost all retail Pro 3 features
Heart-rate monitoring works
Very good ANC
Very good Transparency
Good Spatial Audio
Stable iCloud connection
Automatic Ear Detection works
Controls work correctly
No random disconnects
No major bugs
Excellent build quality
Comfortable
Good microphone
Cons
Poor stock tuning
Sharp/congested sound without EQ
Weak bass
Not recommended for bassheads
V5.3 TB and V6 Huilian sound better
Battery slightly below retail
No real Find My

V7 vs V5.3 TB / V6 Huilian
This is probably the most important part for anyone deciding which batch to buy.
For sound:
V5.3 TB / V6 Huilian > V7
For features:
V7 > V5.3 TB / V6 Huilian
For stability / Apple-like functionality:
V7 is excellent
So I wouldn’t call the V7 a direct replacement for the V5.3 TB or V6 Huilian.
They’re aimed at slightly different priorities.
The V5.3 TB and V6 Huilian are the better choice if you mainly care about audio quality.
The V7 makes more sense if you want the maximum feature set and a stable overall experience.

Final Verdict — 8/10
The Huilian V7 is a very interesting batch, but I wouldn’t recommend it blindly.
Its biggest strength isn’t the sound — it’s the combination of features, stability, ANC, Transparency, Spatial Audio, heart-rate monitoring and overall build quality.
Its biggest weakness is the stock sound tuning. You really need EQ to get the most out of them, and even after EQ, the V5.3 TB and V6 Huilian remain better sounding to my ears.
At around €70, I think they’re a good buy for someone who values features and the Apple-like experience.
If you want the best sound: V5.3 TB / V6 Huilian.
If you want the most complete feature package: V7 Huilian.
That’s where I’d place the V7 after using it.

Trouble connecting V5.2TB with iPhone 17 pro

Hello, I wanted to ask the community if they have had success with connecting the v5.2tb with the iPhone 17 series. I think that Apple is implementing new hardware in the latest phones to detect replica airpods and prevent them from pairing. My iPad 9th gen with the latest iOS 27 beta 5 has no trouble and works perfectly just like iOS 26 did. Like I mentioned my iPhone 16 pro had no trouble with these airreps and I don’t recall having any issues with my iPhone 17 pro either until I updated to the iOS 27 beta.

My airreps are detected and actually still do the airpod pop up screen when opened nearby the phone. However, they don’t automatically connect, and when trying to connect via the airplay logo in the control center (which they initially appear in) it loads and fails. The same occurs when I try and connect via the standard bluetooth settings. The firmware on the reps is up to date as I checked a couple minutes ago. And yes, I have tried forgetting them/resetting them to no avail. They only work currently with my iPad which is a bummer since I don’t typically take my iPad out on the go. I bought the AirPods for my iPhone specifically and I’ve had to revert to using my authentic AirPods 1st gen. If anybody has any knowledge they can provide or a fix of some sort, please feel free to contact me or leave a reply below. Thanks.

€208 AirPods Pro 3 vs Pro 2 V5.3TB €48

Amazon has launched a new deal for AirPods Pro 3. Considering it’s a €160 difference - is it really worth it?
Has anyone used both items, or similar with an opinion on this?

TIA

Foam tips?

I’ve always used authentic AirPods.

I recently purchased Pro 2 V5.3 TB from Jenny.

Will all the replacement tips on Amazon also fit these reps?

Not a fan of the silicone tips.
