hey everyone i got admission in comsats lahore for software engineering but beforev that i got admission in air university and i have paid the fees there now i want to get a fee refund from there but i have lost the original bank challan although i have a copy of it and a picture of real version how do i proceed now. will bank give me the original version again or a way that i can get a refund with the copy of bank reciept

Hi everyone, I'm starting a Computer Science degree this year and need a laptop for coding, IDEs, and general uni work. My budget is around 150,000 PKR, and I'm open to used or new.

My friend recently bought a used Dell Precision 5550 (i7 10th gen, 4GB Quadro graphics) for 150k. Is this a good choice for CS, or would something else serve me better at this budget?

I wanna talk about the fee that the university is charging right now .... The are issuing fee vouchers of 24k and 27k may be on the basis of department....I mean this is totally wrong firstly most of students are doing unpaid internships and now they have to pay fee equal to a 3 credit hour course even when they aren't using any uni resources this is totally injustice

Quick update for all new students of Air University Karachi Campus.

The orientation date mentioned in the offer letter - 30th August - has been CANCELED.

The reason is there is some construction work going on in the university right now.

The first class date has also been rescheduled.

The university will announce the new dates soon.

So I am seeing a few people who are confused regarding document attestation like whether it is okay to attest it from Grade 17(or above) officer or not.............

Today I went for my document submission and I attested my documents from a Grade 17 officer, The documents were my CNIC copy, SSC Certificate copy, HSSC Marksheet Copy, Fee Bill and Three passport size photos(The background must be blue or white, mine was white), I handed my documents to them they checked it and there wasn't any problem whatsoever my documents were submitted easily.

So it doesn't matter whether you have attested it from Grade 17(or above) or IBCC both would be accepted.

And personally I think if you know someone of Grade 17(or above) attest your documents from there cuz it won't cost you any money, IBCC attestation would cost you like 5000 or something, so attesting from Grade 17 officer is a good choice in my opinion for now.
