Yesterday I matched with a guy on Muzz and I honestly want to warn other women to be careful.

Claims:

- Born in the UK and raised in the UAE

- Mallu

- Studied MBBS in Manipal University Bangalore

- Said he works in medical import business now

- Mentioned his sister lives in the UK

We had only texted briefly yesterday. He even called for 2 minutes just to “check if I was real and not a bot” and disconnected.

This morning he asked which area I stay in. I said Al Qasimia and gave only a nearby location, not exact details. Around 1:30 PM he suddenly called me through Muzz and said he was downstairs near my building. I was shocked because I never invited him and we had not even exchanged phone numbers.

When we met downstairs, the first thing he asked was whether he could use my washroom. I said no men enter my apartment except family and suggested using the security washroom downstairs instead. He kept insisting.

Then the conversation became extremely uncomfortable. He started making personal comments about my appearance and asked inappropriate questions about my private life, salary, and other things I clearly said I was uncomfortable answering.

His behaviour became aggressive and disrespectful after that. I told him to leave and reminded him we were outside in public. He left immediately and blocked me on Muzz before I even reached back upstairs.

I’m posting this because the entire situation felt unsafe and manipulative. Please be careful about sharing your location with strangers from apps, even casually.

If anyone else has experienced similar behaviour from this profile/person, please stay alert.

I live in Ajman near the Corniche, on the 2nd floor of a two-storey building. There’s a restaurant on the ground floor that has installed three exhaust fans. Ever since, there’s a constant low vibrating / humming noise in my flat.

I’ve complained multiple times to both the restaurant and the building management, but nothing has changed.

Has anyone dealt with something similar in the UAE?
Who should I escalate this to (municipality, civil defense, etc.)? Any practical advice would be appreciated.

i was thinking that maybe if i change my school to Ajman Driving Academy i would have a higher chance of passing the road test? as the school is the government official school. any thoughts?

I'm actually pissed at myself lol.

The annoying thing is I don't even drive that bad during practice. Like I'm not perfect, but I can drive. But once the test started, I got nervous as hell and super anxious...

I literally started driving with the hazard on instead of using the left indicator properly. Then the examiner kept telling me to speed up, which made me even more stressed. After that he told me to do a U-turn at a signal, then a right turn, and I messed up the timing/braking so bad that he had to hit the brake.

Then he told me to park on the dirt side and even that was messy.

It felt like I went from "okay beginner driver" to "first day behind the wheel" in like 2 minutes.

Now I have to wait for the next month and take more lessons. But honestly now my mind is telling me I'll never pass, like no matter how much I practice I'll just panic again when the real test starts. I know that's probably not true, but right now it feels impossible and I feel kind of ashamed because it was such a stupid fail.

Do you have any good Pakistani school recommendations?

Also wanted to know if universities in UAE accept graduates from Pakistani school (I am unfamiliar with Pakistani curriculum but really am looking forward to it)

Im a girl living in Ajman and planning to start my driving license soon.

1. Which driving school is actually good in or near Ajman?

2. How much did you end up spending roughly from start to finish?

3. Is it worth going to Sharjah or Umm al Quwain instead of Ajman, or doesn’t it make much difference?

4. Any tips to pass everything smoothly (theory, parking, road test)?

I took my 4th road test today and the result still didn’t come i’m stressing right now! i took it at 7:30 and now its 12:12. the examiner wrote numbers on the sheet i think that means fail🥺 for the first test i saw a right mark on someones name. which means pass. idk am stressed af

How good is gulf medical university for medicine (6 years). My main concern is whether they help with USMLE preparation as i want to match residency in US. Also how are the professors, and the way of education do they just make u memorize everything? And the events, is it a boring uni or are there good events?

Is there any option to park near Terminal 3 for 10 days? Please let me know if there are any free options, kacha parking, or paid RTA parking areas where I can park and then head to T3.

I used to park opposite the Emirates Headquarters in the RTA D parking area, but it seems that option is no longer available.

I’d really appreciate any suggestions.
