A brief moment of realization that I think some people miss during 'Don't You Forget'

When Al asks Rosie to fix his staff, she says 'in due time. sing along dear, you know the words'.

So not only is this song diegetic (it exists within the world of the story, basically rather than being a stylized musical number, they actually are singing to each other), they've done this before.

An interesting difference between Alastor and the other Overlord's

Notice how all the Overlord's of Hell seem to be known for a different piece of art/media. As we can see with the Vees, Vox is the Media Overlord (even called as such by Vaggi), Valentino's the Film Overlord and Velvette's the Social Media Overlord. Viv even noted in the Colldier's Night Interview how Zeezi is like the hip hop Overlord and Maestro is like classical music Overlord.

What I find interesting is Alastor is the only one that we know of that isn't known as an Overlord but a demon. Specifically the Radio Demon ofc. A few months ago, I noticed in "Curtain Call" how Vox brags "I'm the most powerful sinner in Hell" while Alastor specifically says "baby I'm a demon in Hell" and brags to Rosie about being one later on. Even though sinners, Overlords and demon are all one and the same, the fact the term is consistently used specifically for Alastor is 100% intentional IMO. I think these details, combined with Alastor literally sliding into frame as Charlie says, "I'm just as bad as the cruelest Overlord in Hell" is the series giving hints how Alastor will truly prove himself to be the worst of the worst.

Alastor redemption theory.

Guys, Alastor gets redeemed soon, if you say I'm wrong just go ask him yourself... JK of course.

But I genuinely think the odds or much more in his favor then he, or even we, realize.

My evidence:

Sir. Pentious was placed in hell due to the deifying act of standing by while others were harmed. he knew damn well he could have helped, but he didn't. Weather it was from fear, cowardice, or just for his own well-being, he didn't act. That's his defying act; that's the reason he was placed into total damnation. But it might have been the reason he got out as well.

As, in the fight against Adam in season 1 episode 8, he fights alongside his friends, but in a moment of true selflessness, where it was eighter he could run off, or act: He chose to act.

In a true selfless act, he sacrificed himself for the survival of others. That action reedified his own defying act, which in return got him redeemed.

Now my true theory:

I strongly believe Alastor will be (Weather in the next season or at the end of the show.) redeemed, weather he chooses it or not.

With my evidence, sinners in hell have a defying trait that got them into hell, but if they truly do the opposite of what got them there, they can be redeemed weather they wanted to or not. So, I believe Alastor will face a situation where is requires him to choose eighter him or the hotel (Which include the cast.), him being the selfish guy we know him for would likely choose the option that benefits him. But I think that act could accidently spiral into something that indirectly counteracts his defying trait, which inevitably gets him redeemed. IDK if I'm crazy or not, I'm just a guy with too much free time and likes a musical every now and then LOL. Anyway, have a good day!

The fact we're getting more focus on their former friendship has me hyped up

I remember watching an interview with Amir (Collider's Night IIRC) and he mentioned something that caught my attention; how Vox and Alastor likely have "different memories of how close they were". I think they show the difference between someone with anti-social personality disorder vs narcissitic personality disorder. Vox genuinely looked up to Alastor, saw him as a friend and had feelings for him. Alastor likely just saw Vox as someone he was cool with and that's it. It makes sense Vox won't just immediately move on from Alastor in season 3. Its likely his arc in the future will focus on him learning to let go of his obssession with Alastor and focus on those he has like the Vees (parallel Charlie focusing on Lucifer over Lillith), which could also pave the way for him possibly changing for the better as a person too (since it was his obssession with Alastor that brought out his worst side in season 2).
