Eala's Recent Improvement (From Wimbledon through 8/16/26)

Eala has improved 2.49% post Wimbledon compared to her previous 52 weeks. This is looking at the percentage of points won during those times. Roger Federer won 54% of points during his career, Eala is at 53.7% since Wimbledon. While this is a small sample size, it is a clear indicator of the quality of play over the past 13 matches. These were not pushover opponents as they include Swiatek, Paolini, Zheng, Fernandez, Svitolina, Osaka, Pegula, and Bencic. She is trending in the right direction, though her current percentage is likely close to a ceiling. A ceiling that if sustainable could lead to a continued march up the rankings. I believe there will be some fallback as she has been on the court a ton this year, but her recent push may contraindicate a rise to the upper echelon of the WTA. I have gathered a lot of data on Eala and similar players. Is there an interest in a more thorough analysis of her potential? I would likely do so in a video if there is a demand signal for this information. Thanks! Hope this was of interest.

Eala’s Schedule: confirmed/skipped/?

WTA 1000 is mandatory. So, she’ll be in China not unless she has an injury (hopefully not).

ALEX EALA FIGHTS THROUGH THE PAIN 🇵🇭🎾

Alex Eala battled past Caty McNally in the Canadian Open Round of 32, taking the first set 6-3 and building a 2-1 lead in the second before a right-foot injury forced her to call for a medical timeout.

Despite the discomfort, Eala chose to continue the match as Filipino fans rallied behind her at center court.

Fighting spirit on full display. 🇵🇭🔥

Today at Alex’s doubles game

Honest question. Why can’t some people restrain cheering DURING the serve? Why risk distracting her at all?
