CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES C’MON 🥳🥳🥳 Man, his death was great. Alice is such a resilient, sweet, and utterly beautiful character. All of us are so much greater than the traumas we are put through. Maybe we can’t all kill our Dr. Bumby’s, but we can live wonderful lives in spite of them and not allow them to crush our spirits. Thank you, American McGee. I’m even more mad, after finishing, that Asylum is (probably) never happening. A wonderful game for a wonderful heroine deserves a continuation.

I'm re-playing this for like 15th time, I have not played it in a few years so now, at the castle and on one of the hidden (shrink) paths, I found this guy sitting on a chair at the bottom of tunnel.

I have been taking my time here, stopping after I kill guys and taking a special look at the artwork in the game. I'm not in any rush to beat it again.

I know there was a reference somewhere on this guy, and I know McGee puts this stuff in games for a reason.

Any idea?

Hello everyone, long-time lurker, first-time poster.

Ever since I played Alice: Madness Returns on the PS3 back in 2011 (that's right, I had a PS3, I know, I know, Xbox 360 was hotter back then, you can relax, I'm still on the PS family), I was fascinated with the dark aesthetics of the game, the story, and Alice.

So from then on, every time I played a game that allowed character creation and glamours, such as in FFXIV, I always tried to recreate her outfit. Last year, I really wanted to do it, but by the time I decided to, it was too late, and I really wanted it to be for Halloween.

Anyway, here I have what is known by its creator and manufacturer as Smart Doll, short for Social Media Art.

These are highly articulated and customizable vinyl dolls, similar to Dollfie Dream dolls. So now every time I see it on my display, I get that extra push to go and replay the game on my PS3. I still have the rascal fat 80GB, backwards compatible and all. 😅

Finally have the funds to buy this game at the PS3 store! My child self would be happy because I have always seen this in storefronts and in YouTube, but did not have the funds to buy it back then.

Now I already have it, even the DLCs! I’m sure my journey would be so much fun! What a gorgeous, gorgeous world.

Alice helps demonstrate two methods of spinning up the pinwheel rasphammer, a weapon from my original TTRPG (Faces of Ruin) with an implied setting of a post-apocalyptic Wonderland, heavily inspired by Bloodborne, The Witcher, and the Alice games.

Great game, recently got all of the achievements on the Xbox 360. My question is was this line meant as an insult? How is it an insult to tell someone they are related to soup? I’m an American so maybe there’s something I don’t understand.
