Why won't advanced boats demolish any of these things?

I'm on the boat scenario and it is very rare that my advanced boats actually demolish anything I mark that is near water. What specifically do they need to mine stuff because I have seen them do it I just can't figure out what triggers it

Rocket scenario meant to take this long?

Hey all, im 50 days in and havnt even put a dent in removing the rockets. Am i missing something?

I thought maybe hooking up oil pipes might drain it.

Is there an event left to trigger?
