No hate if you like these kinds of jokes. In my opinion, it's just been done to death- it's gotten to the point where they've started appearing under posts not about 9/11, and it's just not funny to me anymore.
Lore: France does slightly better in Iberia, British forces become distracted and America invades the maritime colonies. This results in DC being much more burned down and abandoned for Philadelphia by the Union forces. In the Ghent Treaty the U.S. gains the maritime colonies due to the UK just wanting to finish France atp.
These memes are about WWI-Cold War stuff, where due to the large butterfly effect Germany wins WW1 as the U.S. is neutral WWII begins as the U.S. fights in a Civil War, they than join and launch Nuclear weapons at Kokura and Berlin causing Central Powers defeat, and a Cold War between a not collapsed empire of China and Soviet Union last to modern day (also Apartheid South Africa is larping as a great power and everyone treats them as one for some reason)
Ask more questions in the comments if you have them :)
