Whose picture are on the category boxes?
I know some of these artists but some I’m not sure. Can anyone name them? Thanks.
Where in the world are the songs/albums that I tap the "heart" for??
Feel free to call me dense, but I have searched all over the Amazon Music app and I cannot for the life of me find where my hearted/favorited music is!
Please tell me where to find it! Thanks!
My Amazon Music on Android Auto is finally working correctly
That's it really. It'll probably last until they update it again and break it. But I'm able to touch on the screen a playlist or a song or whatever and it actually plays. If I'm doing a playlist or album, it continues playing and keeps going through the queue/ tracklist. If I ask for a mix of music or a specific song using Google Assistant, it actually does the right thing and starts playing something that I asked to hear. Not sure which update it started with but it's been at least a year since it's worked properly like this. Thrilled to have it working but waiting for them to drop the ball again. Fingers crossed whatever they fixed in the most recent update stays fixed when they inevitably break another aspect of the program. I am using a Pixel 9a by the way.
I hate it
Made myself a new playlist for work and it added every song 12 times :)
Is it possible Amazon fixed the "shuffle" of playlists? SUCCESS
Normally, when choosing to "shuffle" a playlist (like "My Likes"), I was served up the exact same songs every time. A list of 200 songs would result in the same 20 getting played in the first hour. Without fail. See: https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonMusic/comments/150a9xg/shuffle_still_blows/ . But magically, and after several years, I'm hearing songs in my list for (what seems like) the first time. I had forgotten these songs were even IN the list. Something changed, and for the better. This bug shouldn't have taken years to fix, but I'm glad they did apparently fix it (although as I type this out, I'm sure I'm jinxing myself and it will revert to the repeat mode of playing songs without actually randomizing). Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks Amazon!
This service is so bad, I thought I was going insane trying to use it
So I get an alert on my phone saying "you know, as a Prime member, you get access to 100 million songs! We noticed you haven't tried it, why not give it a shot?" or something similar.
Then I actually tried it and holy shit, it is such a bad service, it actually made me feel crazy.
It asked me to choose artists, then showed me a playlist from one of those artists. (I chose Radiohead). I went to the playlist and... there was no play button? The playlist was very specific, saying it was an exact set-list from a show Radiohead had played on tour. But it wouldn't let me PLAY THE FUCKING PLAYLIST. No play buttons, only shuffle buttons. If you play any song on this playlist, the next song would be random -- not just out of order, but not even on the playlist displayed on the screen. I press the "next song" button too many times and then it tells me that going to the next song is a paid upgrade.
So let me get this right. They have a music service--a paid (prime membership) music service that... doesn't allow you to skip songs? Shows you albums but doesn't allow you to just... play them? What the fuck? I cannot believe they went through the trouble of making an entire music platform, with what I assume are all of the features of any other normal music platform, just to strip away all of the useful features until you're left with... what... the radio? Pandora circa 20 years ago? So you can nag me to upgrade every time I log in? Bitch, I have Spotify already. THIS is your plan to pull me away? THIS?!
That's when I came here to rant about this, hoping that maybe, just maybe, somebody on the product team from Amazon Music who is on the fence about leaving their job and lurks this subreddit might be encouraged to quit and go work someplace else. Your talents are being wasted. The platform you work on is so hilariously bad, and the people running it are so cartoonishly out of touch with humanity, it will never turn around.
Just a few years ago Amazon music was $3.99 a month and now it's $11.99
What a complete ripoff, nothing has changed....just the price. I refuse to pay this kind of money, if more people did that... Amazon would be forced to reconsider, maybe.... probably not, just wishful thinking on my part. I'll go back to SOMA FM.
Why does my amazon music always play the same songs from the same bands?
I oay for unlimited and when I put on my soundtrack or I let amazon choose for me after the discovery mix finishes, it always goes back to playing the same sht. I want to hear new music by bands ive never listened to. I also want to here different songs from bands I do listen to. I'll only get one or two songs recycled over and over. How do I fix this?
Upgrade issue
My Amazon music tells me to upgrade to listen to ad free music, even though I have the highest tier plan for prime membership. And even if I want to listen to it with ads then the same pop up comes and tells me to upgrade, so even with ads I can’t listen to music. What should I do?
iPhone + SMSL SU-1: music too loud, no proper volume control - any solution?
My music listening configuration is: SMSL SU-1 + iPhone with Amazon Music + iPhone camera adapter.
I have a problem with the loudness of music. The music is too loud, and I cannot control the volume. I tested a passive preamp from Douk Audio, but it ruined the sound quality and was not balanced between the two channels. On macOS, I use eqMac to lower the volume below full level. Is there a similar way for iPhone? Or what do you suggest that is affordable and keeps the sound quality unchanged?
Added the wrong song to a playlist, removed but it still autoplays?
I added a song of the same name but wrong artist to a playlist. I caught it and removed it, but once the playlist ends, it still ends up in the autoplay/recommendations while being a completely different genre.
Can I make the app forget that song somehow?
Can´t add songs to my favourites anymore
Hello everyone.
Recently i am unable to add new songs to my favourites. the songs are marked with a heart, but the songs aren`t added to my favourites. I tried using the app on the phone, on my PC, I tried to redownload the app and refreshed my musik countless of times, but nothing works. is there any way to fix this?
I know amazon music is known for this kind of issues, but i used to be optimistic, that it`s not that bad...

How do you use playlists?
I have been on Amazon Music many years now. I originally created a playlist for all my favorite artists and their music. Then I’ve created a couple of other playlist of random genres (jazz. Progressive rock. Jazz rock. Classical. Ambient and without him more). Sometimes I listen to Amazon Music generated playlists, but most time I just pick my own and play them. Just wondering what y’all do?
Lost playlists
Amazon music needs to do better. Just got notified of a price increase. Understandable for good reliable service; however, after building playlists for years, one.of my favs disappeared. i have followed all the troubleshooting steps provided in help... clearing cache, refreshing, my music, reinstalling, etc
There seems to be no way to get the playlist back.
Maybe time for new music streaming platform.
