Drivers wont install on resetted copy of windows, Intel 12700k LGA 1700

Hello all, I went to swap cpus in my girlfriends PC, from a Ryzen 7 5700x to an Intel 12700k. I grabbed the Gigabyte B760M Gaming Plus Wifi DDR4 (REV 1.0) motherboard for this system and have resetted windows and cleared all my files. On windows startup, it is asking for ethernet drivers to connect to the internet however, the motherboard (or windows itself) is rejecting the drivers when trying to install. The usb drive I am using for the driver install has been partitioned to 31.25 GB (originally a 64 GB, i have no other usb drives available for use) and has been formatted to FAT32. I have the drivers for the WIFI and Ethernet controller along with "Preinstall" drivers off of the Gigabyte website. My M.2 NVME (Klevv CRAS 1tb) is listed to be compatible with the motherboard so I do not know why it would not install the drivers. The motherboard bios has also been updated but that didnt make a difference. I have tried all the different ports available on the motherboard and still nothing wants to download. I dire need of help please 😭😭😭

Note*: I would try to install the drivers and it would do the loading circle but reverts back to "no network drivers detected". I have also removed 2 sticks of RAM from the pc in hopes that wouldve made a difference but that didnt really do anything.
