Got poweramp and RootlessJamesDSP working together...

I've been using poweramp with dump permission for a long time but I used it with brave, because of no ads ofc... Then after I got used to poweramp I felt I wanted room for the sound, I wanted some reverb... Then I searched for an app using which i can achieve reverb then I found RootlessJamesDSP...

But there was a problem... I couldn't stack both of the apps... Probably because of a single sound pipeline... And i was using brave... Which is not a music app to begin with... Then i downloaded metrolist which also didn't have ads... Then i thought wait a second... JamesDSP might also expose a channel that poweramp can latch onto ... The I'd be damned it worked... JamesDSP and poweramp were working together... Im so happy rn...

But, there's something "My guess is that JamesDSP creates an audio session that Poweramp can attach to, but that's just a hypothesis." It's working for me... But might not for you...

So,

-Metrolist for the songs...

-JamesDSP for convolver reverb etc... (I haven't learned james completely yet)... U will need adb here too...

-Poweramp, turn on poweramp eq for RootlessJamesDSP...

If anyone knows the Android audio mechanism behind this, I'd love to hear the explanation...

Guitar Amp Suite like TH3

I used Cakewalk th3 amp Suite in the past and really enjoyed it. After getting a new laptop and downloading cakewalk sonar, I noticed that it's no longer an option and was replaced by the TH-U paid set. Just wondering if there are any amp suites that are free and similar to what th3 was? I see a lot of amp vsts, but they are all individual and I would love something where you can have a single plug-in for everything and set up node pathways

Why do all my tones not sound like what's advertised in anything and sound like sht?

I got my guitar running through a Focusrite interface.. using Archtype Gojira.. and any preset I use for like general metal rhythm guitar sounds like ass. I've tried a bunch of Amp sims, modelers, IRs, and they all sound terrible. What am I missing?

good amp simulators for real pedals?

hi everyone, i just moved into an apartment, so i wont be able to use my tube amp rig as often as i used to at my old place. i’ve never used amp simulators, and i’d like to keep using my pedals if that’s doable. any recommendations? any hardware/gear i’ll need to make this work? thanks!
