Hello. I recently visited a family member who uses an Infomir TV box to stream pirated movies and channels. I have two questions: Is piracy the only use case for these boxes? I also heard they can carry malware that spreads across devices on the same network. Since I connected to their Wi-Fi, is there any chance my device got infected?
Hi can anyone help me figure out an issue I have with running Kodi on this box , I had the normal android firmware on it at first and I set the Kodi all up with real debrid etc, but all of the movies do not want to play straight away buffering even if it's a 1080p.
I've tried messing around with the settings and nothing is working , I then put Slimbox TV firmware on my box that is super fast but I'm still having the same issue !
It is not my internet as that's strong , and I've played movies for another application off Kodi and it's fine , but just less options on there ! And not reliable.
Any ideas or other very good movie apps I can put on using real debrid to get good quality links.

Could anyone with a Yozhixu Q10 TV box share the information displayed in AIDA64 or the system menu? Or perhaps even provide the firmware (note that `secure_boot = YES`)?

While I look for the firmware that came with the TV box, I'll run tests using Armbian.

I have a set-top box Play Box TV which is Android. The Google TV app in it and is not working. It is only connecting properly to the phone but nothing else.
I have tried the rest of the apps now but every app is doing the same thing, they are connecting but are not working further.
Please tell me some solution so that Google TV app can work on my phone. Is there any such app in my TV which is provided by the company which does not work with Google TV remote.

I bought am9 pro bevor few weeks ..actually good device ,but in start I have had a few problems .
My system : Ugoos ➡️ Samsung qn95a ➡️ Soundbar q950a
Tivi mate and Plex .
Biggest problem was/is impossibility to make android volume lower if settings control soundsystem.
(still unable to find a solution )
My old device was Nvidia shield pro ,and I would say that Ugoos have something better picture.
Smarttube videos are better as well..
Audio is better as well on every platform .
Which tweaks did you do?
Are you using superuser and for what if yes?
Are you using AFR ? (in apk and in system or?)
I'm using iPlayer on a 3rd gen Mi Box. I'm outside of UK. I use VPN. I installed the iPlayer app apk through a link that I found here on Reddit. The link on the screen leads to a page that make it seem like my device will not be supported anymore but what exactly BBC is doing here? Is it a legal issue or Android version issue or iPlayer version issue? Any advice appreciated.
My parents had an EVPAD 6P for years and used it without problems; they recently reached out to customer support and they told them to buy a new model and remotely locked their device. I didn't have time to help them fix the problem and now they can't watch TV anymore, even though their device is fine. Thanks for your scummy practices, EVPAD. I have an LG G5. I use TIVIMATE, Jellyfin, and YouTube. 4K, HDR10+, 10bit, Atmos Vision and sound. I do have lower quality files h264. Reasonable price and availability.
I was thinking of getting the firetv stick 4k plus, but I have seen alot of negative reviews for it. Regarding how the new updates just pushes more ads, adds more annoying stuff and is removing necessary features from it.
I was wondering if there are any good alternatives to it available in India?
Onn box is good but it isn't available in India.

What is it?
