Is this an okay build?

Hi everyone! I'm very new to the world of PCs and am looking to get my first ever PC on somewhat of a budget (under 2k if I can swing it). I was just wondering if this build looks okay? I'll use it mostly for gaming and schoolwork. I'm open to buying a prebuilt from AI, but I really want a white PC to match my current desk aesthetic. Thank you in advance for any advice!

Is this build from Andromeda Insights worth it?

Case: AI Galaxy V4 with V4 Stock ARGB Fans

CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D

Motherboard: MSI B850-VC

Cooler: ASRock Challenger 360 Digital

GPU: RTX 5080 16GB [Brand Varies]

PSU: ASRock Steel Legend SL-1000G

RAM: 32GB (2x16) DDR5 6000 RGB (Black) [Brand Varies]

Storage: 2TB Gen 4 [Brand Varies]

Total Price: $2760

I didn't want to get over $2800, and this was the customized prebuilt I ultimately settled on. Wanted to be able to future proof a bit so that I won't have to upgrade for a long while. I've heard a lot of good things about Andromeda Insights as well, I was initially looking at Stormcraft, but then I decided to go with Andromeda Insights instead.

When did you place your order vs. when you received it?

I initially ordered around May 21st, not delivered yet given the delays, and with that I’m curious to see how long it took other people to get theirs!

Signal RGB not working???

Hey, I recently purchased a PC from Andromeda Insights, but I can’t seem to get SignalRGB to work properly. Has anyone else run into this issue?

The MSI lighting software works, but I was hoping to use SignalRGB for more customization. Any advice would be appreciated... because every time I use Signal it doesn't apply any of the lighting effects to my pc.

HORRIBLE AND LAZY QUALITY

Hi everyone. Bought the V3 from these chumps off Best Buy around a month ago it arrived broken with the rams side panels falling off. Ordered the V4 three weeks ago it arrived and the front panel was broken. went through their costumer service both times and each time they wanted me to ship it back to them once they get it they’ll ship me a new one but that would take a month at least knowing their horrible shipping priorities so I opted to take a third chance with them and order the V4 again, and it came with a broken front panel YET AGAIN. About a month of summer has gone by already and these slimy bastards have sent me THREE broken pcs. They act all nice and kind in their customer service but they don’t care whatsoever the quality of the stuff they ship out. They claim their “investigating” if my issues are one of one or the case on the V4 is actually broken for everyone but they have yet to say anything in over A WEEK in the emails we’ve had back to forth on any updates. If you’re on the fence about buying from them or not, DONT. I know this might come off harsh but I’m genuinely tired of it. There’s no other great options to buy from and Andromeda keeps messing up my order. And before anyone says to not buy from Best Buy and instead buy them from directly, IM NOT WAITING MULTIPLE MONTHS FOR SHIPPING WHEN I WANT THE PC TO USE DURING SUMMER.

Galaxy V4 - Finally arrived!

9800x3d / 9070xt (ASrock challenger).
32gb ddr5 6000
2TB ssd

I paid $2199.

This thing is a BEAST! Was a little hesitant of the fan setup as I’ve never had a PC without some type of front or side intake… but man it works good.

Hottest I’ve seen the CPU is 74c under load - ultra settings at 1440p on Arc raiders, pushing 180-200fps. GPU hasn’t been over 55c.

It’s quiet, it’s fast.. and pretty easy. It did require some setup to get the RGB to sync, and I did play the fan curves to ensure cooling stays top notch during these summer months.

5 stars Andromeda.

***edit: spelling..

Seems like this an amazing deal? Anyone have experience ordering from Newegg? Andromeda Insights V3 Gaming PC Elite 50 - RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 | Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz (5.2 GHz Turbo Boost) | 32GB DDR5 6000MHz | 2TB Gen4 SSD | 850W Gold PSU | ARGB Fans | Wi-Fi + BT | Win 11

Been on the hunt for a good PC to get back to PC gaming, I know A.I. does great work and are backed up. How do you folks feel about Newegg? Price seems pretty good?

Andromeda v4 ultra

Hey everyone! Got the andromeda v4 for ~$3000 but I’m noticing some lower-end components (RAM/SSD). Wanted feedback on whether this is normal for the price or if I got a weak part selection. This is my first pc but after doing more research I’ve discovered about some budget parts used such as my ram I ended up finding on Ali express with a lot of mixed feelings especially for it not being a known brand.
Curious if this is the normal selection or I just got unlucky

My specs are-

CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
CPU Cooler: GAMDIAS AURA GL360 LCD
Motherboard: MSI PRO B850-VC WiFi
GPU: Zotac RTX 5080 16GB SOLID CORE OC
SSD: TeamGroup NV5000 2TB Gen4
RAM: KingSpec ONEBOOM TEMPLAR 32GB 6000
PSU: GAMDIAS HELIOS P2-850G ATX 3.1 (B+ Tier)

Computer finally shipping

I would like to start off with a simple make sure you’ve made the customization for parts really what you want. I first made my purchase back in April and wait a little over a month to two before cancelling the order because i wanted to upgrade from a 850 to 1000 power supply. I made my second purchase earlier this month in June like June 5th with expedited shipping. It was expected to ship out June 19th but after a week i’ve sent an email and they refunded the expedited shipping which is $100. I received an email today saying my order has finally shipped and will be arriving later this week July 3rd end of day.

Thoughts?? for performance on specific games

I’ve been eyeing a pc for a bit. I only want to play games like re, overwatch, rivals, val. With these specs realistically could I get 170-200 fps at 1080p on some of these games?. I don’t want to break the bank and get an almost $2000 dollar pc so I settled on highly considering this one I’m not going to use it for much else.

Getting my first good pc

You guys think this will be good for gaming and some editing videos and audio? I got 32gb ram. Also is it really going to take until August to get it. My ETA is August 14th

Still waiting

I ordered two builds on April 23rd, Original ship date was May 25th and ETA June 2nd. I waited patiently and and waited some more. I asked last week when I could realistically expect both builds to ship, they said today, June 25th. Nothing has shipped still, yet people who ordered later than me have posted they received their systems. I'm starting to feel AI's word means little. Not what I expect having spent over $6000.

Was ready to pull the trigger

Have been wanting to buy a PC for the past couple of years, but never have had the space/money. Recently, I have been looking and was ready to pull the trigger on the Spectra ANDROMEDA INSIGHTS PC. Wanted to hear anyone's thoughts for my first PC, recently on ps5 have been playing r6, marvel rivals, apex, for honor, destiny. I have seen several prebuilts being posted here, like an IBUYPOWER prebuilt with a 9070XT, but I heard from others that 50's series GPUs like 5070 (I think NVIDEA ones not sure) should be the way to go. If there are any suggestions or anything would be great thanks!!

My experience review

So I ordered from them in late April, and I just received my PC today. I've got the dream machine unboxed, and things are running perfectly so far. No complaints whatsoever about the hardware and CPU setup other than it's a little louder than I originally expected.

In terms of wait time, I didn't order either of the expedited build/shipping, so I fully expected it to take a while to get to me. I wasn't too upset that it took a full two months, because I knew that I was getting a great build that was thoroughly tested and assembled completely. I also requested some custom fans that I wanted put it, and they were able to oblige me, so happy about that.

However, there definitely was one area where AI dropped the ball. I originally was super jazzed about ordering because they had a promo for Crimson Desert and Pragmata at the time. I've been really interested in playing both games, so it seemed like a no-brainer to grab them both. However, the initial response times on my emails took long enough that they ran out of Crimson Desert keys. Understandable, since I was asking for custom parts to be installed into my pc. I thought i'd be fine with just my Pragmata key, and I'd pick up later. However, I finally received the pc today... and no key. I emailed them, and they were apparently out of those too now, so I got sent 007 Dying Light... a game I have absolutely zero interest in. That's a pretty big letdown on an otherwise great day of getting my pc.

PC: 5/5
Support: 2/5
Extras: 1/5
