How do you play Animal Crossing: New Leaf? Do you prefer to play the game naturally, including letting time pass normally without changing the date, or do you use time travel and/or mods?
And most importantly, why? What do you like or dislike about each way of playing?

i deleted a file in my FBI that i thought was taking up space… i have a feeling that it wasn’t just a random file…
the system is telling me the game needs updating, then won’t follow through with the download and tell me there was an issue.

Non avevo mai usato "save editor" prima d'ora perché preferisco non usare trucchi e godermi l'originale esperienza del gioco, però era davvero triste avere solo un lago.
In un altro salvataggio (quello originale nella prima cartuccia che ho avuto), nella mia città ho ben tre laghi!
Per questo quando ho iniziato a giocare con la seconda città mi è sembrata un deserto! (Stupida io che non ci avevo fatto caso quando era il momento di scegliere la mappa!)
Il fiume è il motivo per cui ho scelto questa mappa.
Recently have been trying to play the game again legitimately without any cheating I’ve played for four days and it looks like my character is on a darker side? I haven’t been standing in the sun for long periods of time or really at any time I’ve been completely moving until I stop playing

When designing your town, how do you use bushes/shrubs and in which ways to place them? I want to use them in my town but don't know what to do with them.
I've never played New Leaf before, my first time was yesterday (I've played New Horizons), and I was shocked by her dialogue because I never experienced that before and I actually really love it, I find it so funny. She just loves her peace and quiet.
Sooo...I found this chest on the island. Made a picture cause I have never seen it before, then picked it up (I think?) and it vanished. Dont have anything in my inventory or inbox.

Aside from Benjamin and Leonardo, I really dislike my villager options but I tolerated it because of the town layout being so good. This game is notorious for giving me villagers I don't like or want, making me eager for pretty much everyone to leave. Having villagers that I don't like or want makes me less motivated to talk to them or interact with them. I have Benjamin, Aurora, Queenie, Hopper, Leonardo, Hippeux (Recent arrival), and Sylvia (About to move in).
I have Wisp and because I use Vapecord on my modded 3DS, I can have Wisp bring in new villagers and boot out the old ones. I know for a fact that I want Julian and Elvis in my town, as they're my favorite villagers. However, for the remaining villagers, I would really like suggestions. They don't have to fit any town theme but I'd like for each personality type to have at least one villager (Like Julian's smug or Elvis's cranky. For species, I especially like the felines (Cats)/Lions/Tigers) and canines (Dogs/Wolves). However, I'm also open to rabbits, bears/cubs, squirrels, deer, eagles, and other horses besides Julian.
Any suggestions are appreciated because this lineup feels like a bore. Help me have ten actually good villagers?

So, I have PWP’s and Ordinances unlocked yet at the end of every startup Isabelle says she needs to explain my mayoral duties to me? I already have a second cobblestone bridge that I placed down as my first PWP yet the game thinks I haven’t had this conversation. Any solutions or help please??
This is my town map of my newest file (I reset constantly because I can't stay satisfied or get glitches). Possibly the best town layout I've had so far, though I had to use Vapecord to move the town plaza and the recycle shop to different spots. Keep in mind I'm still fairly new to this game and series so I sometimes struggles with where I should put things. Help me out?
Where should I put the campsite, cafe, and police station? Where could I also have an orchard to plant each type of land tree?
For the cafe and police station (Might cheat to get them faster tbh), I was thinking on the top left of the map in between the pond. Like the cafe next to the upper beach entrance and the police station next to the train station.
For the campsite, I was thinking about putting it in that open space on the bottom right of the map close by to Harvey's campground.
For the orchard, I put them in the space underneath the town plaza but I'm unsure about it.
