Took 2 months but I finally got blue roses (no time travel)!

Here are the steps for anyone interested:

  1. Red (seed) 2001 + Yellow (seed) 0200 = Orange 1100 (50%)
  2. White (seed) 0010 + Yellow (seed) 0200 = White 0110 (50%)
  3. White (seed) 0010 x2 = Purple 0020 (25%)
  4. Purple 0020 + White 0110 = Purple 0120 (50%)
  5. Purple 0120 x2 = White 0220 (25%)
  6. Orange 1100 + White 0220 = Orange 1210 (25%)
  7. Orange 1210 + White 0220 = Red 1220 (25%)
  8. Red 1220 x2 = Blue 2220 (25%)

Permanent Diverse Skin Tones

I made an alternative version of my Inclusive Skin Tone mod that completely disables the normal tanning progression and lets each player keep a permanent skin tone.

The main reason I made this version was so multiple players can have different skin tones in the same town. For example, one character can stay at tan 0 while another can stay at tan 15, instead of everyone being forced into the same palette.

It currently includes several palettes:

  • Default
  • Warm Honey
  • Cool Rose
  • Neutral
  • Teak
  • Soft Fantasy

The game still uses tan values 0-15, which correspond to 8 visible skin-tone levels in game. Since normal tanning is fully disabled, you set the value manually using ACNL Save Editor or Vapecord and it will remain that value until manually changing it again.

Currently this is for Welcome Amiibo USA only and works on both Azahar and modded 3DS/Luma3DS.

If people are interested, I’d also be happy to make more palettes, including fantasy color packs like greyscale, vibrant, themed ect....

Inclusive Skin Tones With Tanning Support!

Been playing around with the game code for a bit now, and I finally found the code that controls player skin tones!!

This mod adds 8 skin tone options with full tanning support. Just drag and drop the file, and you can make your character any of the 5 natural skin tones or 3 fantasy skin tones included in the mod folder.

Each option still works with New Leaf’s tanning system, so your character can gradually deepen in tone without completely changing complexion.

Please leave any feedback or requests in the comments! I’d love to expand the mod with even more options if there’s enough community interest.

To my 2021 friends (ty for the memories)

I started playing acnl in 2020 and around late 2020-early 2021 i met two friends online from tortimer island who were always so kind and carried my childhood because i would talk to them every day. One’s name was Harry and the other was Taleisha.

So Harry i would talk to in early 2021 until he went offline and came back in late 2021 with a new town which he had made after hacking his 3DS. He was one of the funniest people ever and since he hacked his 3DS he put a screenshot of us as his acnl profile picture. Then after that he kinda stopped playing because of the regret of resetting his town and other reasons. But we had so many good conversations. In 2022 i saw him again like once but he’s been gone since.

As for Taleisha i chatted with her a lot in 2021 then she had some huge time where she was inactive. Then around 2022 she made a new town but ACNL didn’t let us visit each others towns anymore, maybe cuz she unadded me then added me back, idk. So we chatted on swapdoodle all throughout 2022 and 2023. As well as chatting on the friend list message spot as it was easier. But in 2023 she said it was her bday and young me kept talking about un-related stuff and i was stupid resulting in her unadding me and saying we can’t be friends anymore cuz at the time i was annoying.

I haven’t seen harry since around mid 2022 and taleisha since july 2023..

I know they probably won’t see this post but it’s worth a shot.. If you do see this just know you guys were the best online friends i had at that time.
