the game is freaking TWEAKING. Well guess what ima tweak too if i just lost my rewards😭 ANIMAL JAM ISTG

the new alphas are… certainly there. while yes its good that theyre paying attention to their fanbase, it is mostly older kids now. yes, it is a game tailored towards kids so no i am not that mad about it, it just irks me that a game i used to love and treasure is feeding into bottomless consumerism and treasure trapped behind infinite paywalls. it could just be because ive matured past 67 and other sources of brainrot, but i find the use of dubai chocolate to be a little corny.. they couldve made more halloween like items but they chose landfill instead. not to mention they seem to use a lot of liza in these.. (jammonster doll- aj labubu, and on the 67 poster) i find the pony, duck, and wolf one pretty cute but the mayonnaise and croissant one to be pointless additions to the game. it seems pretty tacky to me at least. idk i feel like the update lacks a little soul. The lightside tokens are a little strange, and the animals themselves are pretty terrible as you can only have a few certain shades and if you try to choose a light pink BOOM youre all of a sudden a cheeto. The minigame is also incredibly complicated and the gameplay is confusing and awkward. Once you get the hang of it, its pretty fun but its not worth all that effort for like 2 lightside tokens. the portal itself is just a desert den portal with aether portal techniques, the effect they plastered onto it just doesnt seem very genuine or thought out to me, and the warm colors on the other side certainly dont match the dimension color. Oh and they better have a system in place to prevent the bot fiasco from notp last year.

yes i do understand that the game is indeed geared towards children and as an older player i am 100% not the target audience, i find it a little weird that this was the way they went with notp this year. i do rlly like some of them tho and once they become more common id love to get one

please note that no im not mad nor am i complaining about it. the items are permanent whether i like it or i dont. im just a little confused why they chose these specific items. i rlly love some of them and i love the fact that this years is on a happier note

anybody else disappointed that the lightside/darkside animal tints are limited to like... 6 colors? is this a bug? if it's an intentional feature, i'll be so disappointed cause it's so restrictive + you can't even match well with most darkside/lightside items since they aren't limited to 6 flipping colors. i just want a cool tintless wolf man 🙁🙁

i've commented about this on their latest instagram post, if we all bother them with this concern they might change it like the points-minigame situation.. ☹️☹️
