Went outside looking for my indoor/outdoor cat when I heard this sound. I promplty scooped him up and brought him inside!!! My dad thinks it was a bobcat.

My best guess is some kind of frog but I’m no Dr. Dolittle.. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m in Louisiana, USA🇺🇸🐊🐸

I keep hearing this sound in my garden. It sounds like a bird but have used a bird sound ID app and its not recognised…

I live in Hampshire in the UK. I have no idea what it is but sounds like it comes from a tree which is why I think its some sort of bird but it seems to be the biggest mystery at the moment as no one can tell me what it is!

In this clip you can hear at least 2 tree frogs but during the early part of the video and towards the end there is definitely another animal.

At 2am this loud sound that I think is a animal just starting coming out of no where stop for a bit then happen again to me maybe a owl of some sort but idk any one got a idea

We can’t see our friend but they are there lol.

Otherwise it sounds like a weird bird or some kind of squeaking

My boyfriend and I were watching scary movies and snuggling until we heard this at 5:28am it scared the living hell out of me and we’re trying to figure out what it is. Also we’re located in North Carolina.

In Connecticut around 9-10PM

is this even an animal making this screeching sound at night? 😭 i’ve never heard anything like this, it went on for about 5/10 minutes

its 2AM here in Scotland. This has been going on for around 10 minutes now, ive never heard anything like this. For context i do live almost right next to a forest, it sounds in obvious distress and is heartbreaking to listen to:( at the end there seems to be another animal? I think theres maybe two. anyway idk if this is stupid

We are guessing it’s some sort of bird or beetle, but we can’t identify exactly what..

I recorded this sound with Merlin, but it doesn't identify it as a bird. I'm guessing it's a mink or some other sort of ground animal, but I haven't found any recordings that sound just like it.

This was recorded about 11:15 AM in Eden Prairie, MN, near a marsh.

I live in eastern Kentucky I’ve looked up sounds of local animals that are known in the area like bobcats coyote and fox but honestly it’s kinda hard to distinguish I’ve heard it in the past and people told me it was a coyote but honestly sounds closer to a bobcat or fox.

My father in law said it’s owls and a fox imitating them, I’m from the city so I’ve never heard either!!!!
My fiancé also said he saw a pair of eyes after recording!
