Hey everyone,

Me and my friend are planning to do the Annapurna Base Camp Trek around 22nd/23rd May and were wondering if anyone here would like to join us for the trek or part of it. We’re coming from mumbai/pune and planning a pretty chill/adventurous trip vibe.(budget trip)

Also wanted some advice from people who’ve done ABC recently:

Do we really need a guide now?

Is it better to book a full tour package that covers permits, stay, transport, etc. or just do it independently?

How’s the weather/trail conditions around late May?

Would appreciate any tips, budget advice, or itinerary suggestions too.

We start the trek from Chame on the 20th. Excited but slightly nervous about the high altitude the last 2 days. Would love to know your stories and plans.
