Go With Mel's switch to local and Metro Manila hotels - Any thoughts mga ka team authentic all over da world?
I know they are not part of the klookto circle and di na din sila nag po-promote ng Klook. Napansin ko lang recently na nag-shift sina Mel and Enzo to local travels and NCR hotel reviews these past few months. Last international travel nila was Fiji, na to be honest, medyo di ko rin masyadong na-feel kasi mahal yung mga bilihin sa place.
Upon auditing their channel, medyo nakikita ko na kung bakit sila nag-pivot. Mataas talaga views and engagement nila sa local travels and staycations, lalo na yung mga hotel reviews near NAIA and accessible spots. I guess na-realize nila na mas mataas engagement at mas nagtra-traction itong klase ng content as of late. Plus, local staycations allow them to build a more sustainable routine while keeping the channel active lalo na’t sobrang mahal ng airline fees ngayon due to fuel price hikes.
I still love Mel and Enzo as creators, pero to be honest, itong bagong phase and content style nila ngayon is not really for me. I lean more toward international travel content because of the escapism factor, umay na rin kasi ako sa Pinas talaga. So for now, bawas muna siguro ako sa watch time and will look for other travel channels muna until mag-abroad ulit sila.

It's time to unfollow Ivan De Guzman
For several months, religiously akong nanonood ng travel vlogs nya. Pero habang tumatagal nagiging annoying na sya. Napapansin ko na yung pagiging low-key tactless nya and condescending makipagusap sa viewers nya when addressing them sa vlogs. May bago pa syang mannerism na clap nang clap while doing his outro na para bang nasa live selling. Then, ito na ngang latest nya nag-cut ng trip sa Peru dahil sa altitude sickness, which is fine. However, sa comment section may mga pumupuna na maybe his being unfit is also a factor na kinokontra nya instead na iacknowledge na lang dahil, hello?!? Hindi talaga sya fit dahil sa kaka-yoyo diet nya. Last year pa sya nagtatry pero hanggang ngayon ang lakas nya pa rin kumain. Kesyo kailangan daw nya itry yung mga local food sa pinupuntahan nya. Hindi kailangan yun, ayaw nya lang talaga pigilan sarili nya at lagi syang nagpapabudol sa kung ano yung sikat sa TikTok.

Has anyone noticed these ccs are making longer videos? Is that because of the new viewing time required by youtube for you to earn? I just saw IDG’s latest video which i think is about 50 minutes of nothing. The content was Airport to hotel then He gets in the hotel to make a litany about his airport to hotel experience. Are they just trying to make the viewers watch longer? I can’t. Anyways I've stopped watching these so called “travelers” that book tours after tours after tours.

Honestly dissapointing to see bot accounts for engagement of these "influencers" 😒
Wait lang.. am I the only one who checks the likers ng ibang influencers and goes 🤨
I noticed this one na dumaan sa explore feed ko while I was searching for my SG itinerary. Parang ang daming accounts na giving bot/fake account energy (random usernames, barely any posts, weird follower-to-following ratios) everything is giving "engagement farm".
Honestly, is this okay with Klook? My goodness. I noticed na some of her posts have the same kind of likes, and if you look closely at the accounts, ang daming halos walang followers/following or barely any activity.
