Since yesterday, I've been looking at general OW player opinions on Anran across different platforms, and the biggest complaint I saw everywhere was how little skill expression she has. People were saying she has a low skill floor (to the point where she crushes metal ranks) and a medium to high skill ceiling that isn't very rewarding, making her fall off in higher ranks.

Some people suggested reworking or tweaking her kit so she's less dominant in lower ranks and more viable in higher elos, bringing her closer to other dive heroes like Tracer and Genji.

What are your thoughts on this? Honestly, I think it's nice to have an easier dive hero, since most of them are mechanically demanding, especially for beginners, while still requiring a good situational decision-making.

There´s some odd interactions when you press E and an enemy uses a mobility ability inside your circle, you can see the animation of you hitting them, hear the sound, but the hit does not register.

If its intentional, i´d call the functionality questionable at best. I can kinda see it making sense if they literally leave your circle using that mobility ability perfectly just in time before you hit them, but i just had a game where a freja just simply dashed while inside my E, didnt even dash out of it, she just sorta dashed over my character while staying inside the circle at all time, and the interaction i mentioned previously has happened. That makes absolutely no sense at all. That one should have hit her.

Ive noticed that this has been happening for a couple weeks, maybe since midseason patch in s3? It definitely wasnt happening, or atleast not to this extent, before late season 3.

Is there any statement about this? Is it a bug? Is it intentional?

I have a real curious question, i really dont wanna say the wrong thing and im wondering. If Fareeha Anderson dating and is she a lesbian? I ask this for a friend and they wanted to know but no matter how hard I look I find nothing on it. One time I saw a post from her saying "here with my GF" but it was a joke, Another time it said no one, and another time it said yes. There's where looking all in the same hour. If anyone can tell me anything for my friend, thank you.

Why do people keep picking the smoulder perk (ignited engines burn for 1.5s longer)? Anran has weak fire damage DOT compared to other heroes that ignite (ashe, illari, etc.). the DOT of this perk is only an increase of like 25 damage. sure, this gives your more of a window to follow up with right click, but it is already easy to light people on fire with headshots, poke and then flank, etc. her heat shield (overhealth) perk is so much stronger. it allows you to fit her aggressive and slimey plays style so much better. whether you’re self reviving (in the rare case it’s valuable) or going for a deep ult, you get an initial +50 hp regardless, plus x50 amount of overhealth per enemy hit. think, if you ult into 2 people, you’re already at 400hp and all the enemies you hit are burning. you are practically a mini tank for a few seconds and can do insane damage output, granted you do not get hindered or they get cleansed. if you have your cooldowns ready for when you ult with this perk there is no doubt you can get at least a 2K+ and disrupt their backline. i am a solo queue masters Anran and would like to hear any counter arguments if you have any to maybe change my mind. thanks 🚒🚒🔥🔥

How are we finding the match up between Anran and D.Mon? Anyone found if it is a strong or weak match up yet? Developed and tips or tricks for the rest of us?

Before season 4 launched, I decided to push as far as I could in the ranked ladder (thanks for advice in my last post I made here), but couldn’t go further than plat 2. This was the same for support as it was for dps. I mainly played Anran and it was during the latest drives. I kept getting annihilated and going back to plat 3-4. That might be because of the fact that drives are doing drives things, but it could be that I’ve hit a skill wall and I’m just unsure what to focus on. I’ve often felt lost in the middle of matches because I just didn’t know what to do, and almost everyone plays kiri who has that one single button to negate Anran’s entire point of a character…

With drives almost ending what weapon variants do you guys use for Anran?

There have been so many enemy D.VAs that have attempted to jump me, just to try and use defence matrix once I start fanning them, they get de-meched and then get confused 😂

Has anyone else experienced this or am I just coming across a lot of D.VA mains who don't understand Anran's kit?
