Bug ID help

Just doing my due diligence as a first time homeowner here: a couple black ants have been seen inside. They're carpenter ants, right? The head size is throwing me off a bit. I can't tell where they're coming from exactly yet but it's probably the greenbelt behind us; I just couldn't find any in the backyard. I would love recommendations on treating them.

On our front side, there are several brown ant hills by our curb stop valve that are very active every year. I just rebought some Tarro liquid ant bait stakes and put them right by the hills. Anyone have better recommendations for this? I don't have a good sense yet of what types of food sources to use as things heat up here, especially since they're different types of ants.

I really appreciate people's time and help with this. Thanks in advance.

Male alate or queen?

I found this ant in my backyard with wings, I'm wondering if it's a queen or a male, it's quite tiny so I'm not sure, I would also appreciate if someone can help Id it!

Do ants have more than one exit when they borrow in a wall?

I have ants borrowed in this wall of mine, I believe.

I'd hate to seal them in there now that I believe I found where they're coming from.

I tried asking Google AI about this and the results aren't as helpful as I'd hoped.

Does anyone know if I seal the hoke they're coming from with caulk -Do they definitely still have a way out if they wish (Just not to my apartment-complex kitchen)?

p.s. I sorta need to get this finished with until sometime tomorrow. Maybe the afternoon. -How intuitive is installing caulk?
I was told to purchase a caulk gun and some caulk but how easy are they to find, understand, and use?

Thanks in advance

Is this a queen?

I’ve had a sugar ant infestation ever since I moved in, they live in the walls (mainly in my bathroom) and today I found this one dead by the toilet. It’s way bigger than the ones I usually see. I thought it might be a/the queen but don’t know enough about ants to know for sure.

Ant Invasion!

Ants are coming into my kitchen through a gap in the window. I want them to leave but I don't want to wipe out the whole colony or the queen. Is there anything I can put down to deter them from coming in? I need to be able to open and close the window. I'm contacting the super tomorrow about fixing the window. Thanks.

my house is so old and has a billion cracks in the windows and even the flooring has gaps in every room, ive tried so many things to get rid of ants. obviously ant traps (which they dont care about). ive tried the sugar water and borax technique and it usually keeps them in that area but it doesnt seem to be working in the way i hoped. they just keep coming back for it. i find only one or two on me every now and then, when im playing video games and even while im sleeping, it makes my skin crawl i hate them SO MUCH!!! i have my diffusers with peppermint oil on the side of my bed and in the kitchen next to the sink. but it doesnt stop them from climbing onto me. please what else can i do about these evil creatures, i clean every single day maybe not hospital intensity of clean, but they just wont stop tormenting me. im gonna get some caulk and try to fill in the gaps in windows and everything, what can i use on the gaps in the flooring?? theyre pretty large gaps in some areas and others are fine, but my house very much gives "landlord fix". i am just at a loss on how to get these things under control. theyre in every single room please give me all advice possible
