AnyDesk and Debtist GmbH harassment

Does this message from Debtist GmbH have any legal standing? I did cancel that subscription in advance of the expiration date, and we stopped using their services at that time. When I cancelled the subscription, I also removed all payment info from their system to prevent accidental renewal.

AnyDesk macOS Tahoe & BetterDisplay

I’m currently a subscribed user of AnyDesk, however about a week ago I transitioned over to a MacBook Pro M5 Max and have now moved my workflow across to macOS.

Since making the switch, I’ve been struggling to get the display resolution right between my setup and the client’s screen, whether they are viewing on an iPhone or a standard monitor.

On my end, I’m running a Samsung 49" Curved display at its native 5120 × 1440 resolution, so trying to find the sweet spot between my desktop setup and the client’s viewing experience has been an absolute nightmare.

After researching multiple forums and discussion groups, one application that kept being recommended was BetterDisplay. From what I understand, you can create a virtual display that allows you to maintain your native screen resolution locally, while forcing the remote output to something more manageable like 1920 × 1080, which seems to be the ideal resolution for most of my clients.

The main issue I’m facing is that the macOS version of AnyDesk doesn’t appear to support selecting between multiple displays. Once the app launches, it simply shares whatever display is currently set as the “Main Display”, which in my case is the Samsung 49" running at 5120 × 1440.

Following the recommendations online, I installed BetterDisplay and created a 1920 × 1080 virtual display. However, because AnyDesk doesn’t let you choose which display to share, I still can’t get the setup working properly.

One suggestion I found was to set the virtual display as the “Main Display”, however this creates problems with the software I actually need to use during client sessions, namely Revit Architecture running through Parallels.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the correct way this should be configured?

Worst case, I can install AnyDesk inside the Windows environment and run it through Parallels, but I’d really prefer to use the native macOS version of the app if possible. The M5 Max is an absolute beast, and I genuinely love how smooth everything runs under macOS.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

After paying debt collector, license becomes Active again.

I didn't pay for last year's fee and in my.anydesk 2 I remember seeing it says our license/contract was teminated, a yellow exclamation mark.

Last month, I received mails from Debtist asking me for ~150% payment because I didn't pay the fee. I forgot to cancel before 30 days, and then didn't pay Anydesk. Before Debtist contacting me, I am sure that anydesk's website says my license is terminated. I paid what Debtist said and I thought that's it. We both go our own ways from now on.

Today I received email saying Anydesk is still not receiving my payments, bla bla bla, and then I go to their site I saw my license becomes Active again!

I thought our contract was terminated and that was it? They even sold my personal data to debt collectors already! I paid the collectors and I don't want any trouble anymore! How is this acceptable in Germany?

I tried to cancel my subscription, but their website only says "contact our support" and delete account always returns Internal 500 Error.

I've reported this in my email, along with statements that I wish to cancel my subscription and ask the company to delete my account forever, twice in their website form and through email to their accountservice thingy. I will keep my sent copies.

If Anydesk doesn't reply and if later in this year I still get payment request for next license, what should I do? Is there any legal organizations in Germany can help? I am foreigner. Please, I am willing to sue this company to bankrupt.

How do I resolve this error?

As per the image attached, I am using 5G network and I’ve been getting this error since yesterday.

I’ve tried reinstalling the app a couple times.
