probably the greatest choke of all time

i was trying to practice my superglides/lurches... but these knats wouldn't leave me alone.... so i ALMOST hit one of the SICKEST clips of all time.... but of course it's a wraith that get's to 'OH NO IM JUST A GIRL RUN AWAY 'outta there... and then my fck ahh teammate winds up having the SAME exact skin so i got confused mid shot and couldn't finish 😭😭😭😭 have a moment of silence with me while i figure out WHY in the hell i'm like this

on another note, the sideways superglide with a lurch is super powerful, definitely going to be practicing this until i can do it without fail. it looks so swaggy bro, if you don't know how to do one learn it ASAP it's phenomenal, one of the only reasons i refuse to switch to controller is stuff like this, this is what Apex is all about baby!!!

Lurch strafing with Axle without double-jumping

Apologies for posting on this forum for the first time just to report an issue, but I'm getting pretty desperate. The problem I'm having with Axle is that whenever I try to chain my lurch strafes while my tactical ability upgrade is active, the double jump always triggers when I scroll wheel down, even when I don't want it to. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do you know how to fix it? I'm using a G305 mouse, and it's impossible for me to be precise enough to hit just a single scroll notch while lurching. Thanks in advance to all che movement Axle!

Learning movement

Im pretty new to Apex and its my second split. I've reached platinum (almost Diamond) twice now. I've played it on console on release when there wasnt ranked but i played it more casual, like other Battle Royales.

I've played a lot of FPS games, so my aim is pretty decent and i think thats what carried me to this ELO. Also me understanding the game better and better, knowing better how and when to push and when to reset.

What by far my worst trait is, is my movement. When i watch my teammates and enemies they pull of crazy movement to dodge bullets and escape fights or reset. Now it happens a lot that i try to reset, get around a corner, bat up and re engage but just when i get around the corner i get killed. I feel like strafing is the most important one but correct me if im wrong. But if i run i can just slide and jump and cant do no more than that.

I've practiced it in the firing range, i can strafe, but not consistently yet. I can BHOP, walljump and superjump on a rope very consistent but when im in a fight its not in my muscle memory. I think i've never pulled any of these things of midfights or during escapes. Is there a way to get it in your muscle memory faster and make it more second nature?

I dont wanna be a movement God, but just want to pull it off when necessary. I like watching HisWattson and he doesnt do crazy movement, but occasionally when the moment calls for it he will pull it off.

Also i thought batting while bhopping was nerfed a while ago but i saw him pull it off in his latest video?

Continuous lurch strafing on Axle's nitro gate?

Unfortunately, I'm not able to provide gameplay footage, but call me insane, yesterday I've met people that were lurch strafing on Axle's tactical like crazy (one of them was octane, so maybe it can't be done without stim idk). So far I've been able only to tap strafe back and forth consistently w/Nitro Gate but lurching continuously would never work even though I can execute it normally. Am I tweaking, is this technique even possible and if it is, how to execute it properly?

Edit: I think I should specify that by "continuous" I mean going through Axle's tactical, getting the boost and lurch strafe BACK onto her tactical and, basically, repeating those steps

1-3-1 grip in the long run?

So I've finally decided to incorporate lurch strafes into gameplay and while I can do them relatively consistently, I just CAN'T shoot while lurch strafing. I've been using 1-2-2 grip throughout all my life so far. I've had ideas of binding shooting to LAlt or smth but I doubt it will do the trick.

I tried 1-3-1 in shooting range for a while and for now, it's quite messy for me. Lack of ring finger on the side of the mouse impacts stability, overall I feel I'll need a lot of time to get used to it. It's not that terrible, but it's like learning how to ride a bicycle backwards.

So, this question is mostly for those who has already switched from 1-2-2 to 1-3-1. How much time has it taken for you to switch? Has it impacted your aim a lot (in a bad way, because it's partially my case) or you remained consistent? Do you incorporate 1-3-1 grip in every other videogame now or still stick to 1-2-2 in some cases?

Having trouble consistently attaching to walls for fatigue bounces

Sometimes I feel like I can't attach to a wall, or it feels delayed.
That prevents me from fatigue bouncing consistently.
I know you have to be in the "green zone" to fatigue bounce, but sometimes I can't even attach to a wall consistently.
I don't know if it happens when I jump too close to a wall, or maybe it's the geometry of the wall or even the lag.
Maybe I'm insane and it is all inside my head.
If someone knows how it works behind the scenes, please help.

Multiple double jumps with Axle

I noticed ingame, that if Axles speedgates have the double jump upgrade, you can double jump even after using the first one if you spam jump, especially with the mwheel. Has anyone else noticed it? Seem to work as long as you still have the boost sound/ui

What is this zipline movement Faide always does?

Specifically how he goes "backwards" on the zip. He does this alot on most zips, typically at the start of riding one to dance around.

What would be the overall inputs for what he did on the zip in this full clip

Superglide/mantle boost help

I am pretty new to the game and was wondering about if it is possible to do superglides with mantle boost turned on without changing it onto a specific movement keybind. For example If I have mantle boost on and try a superglide I mantle boost every time with my jump key no matter what while I can do superglides just fine if mantle boost is turned off. Is there a way to having to have both without changing the mantle boost bind to a specific key.

Super Glide consistency tips?

I've recently switched to mnk from console and can't seem to get any consistent superglides. i have C bound as an alternative crouch so i can use my thumb for both keys but i can only hit them 20% of the time. does anyone have any tips on how i can train consistency?

Scroll forwards or backwards for tapstrafing?

I have been using scroll down for tapstrafe and scroll up for jump since I started learning movement (so more than 4k hours ago lol) and was wondering if there is any significance as to which way you have them bound.

Every guide I ever watched was recomending scroll forwards for w but I just preferred scrolling down for w, is there any benefit?

Should I actually make the effort in switching my inputs or should I just keep goin the way I was?

Just wondering how I could min max my performance since I am a settings snob lol

New Movement Tech?

I’m not sure whether this was a glitch or something that can actually be done consistently. I tapped in and wanted to superglide the cube, but instead it launched me to the right at a speed that felt even faster than a normal superglide. From my perspective, the speed looked similar to a fall-stun cancel.

Does anyone know what caused this or how to recreate it?

is this a new Movement tech? "INSTA SKIP JUMP" on AXLE only!

so i was messing around with normal skip jumps and then tried to do them on Axle. It appears her passive interacts very weirdly with it in terms of timing i guess? So u cant really do a "normal" skip jump on her but it looks like you can do an even faster on, an "insta" quick slide?

So u have to holster ur weapon and u have an even shorter run-up wich allows a quicker/upgraded form of the normal "skip jump". The timing window starts right before her hands pop up into the frame and lasts for around a second (still figuring it out)
