Aphelios had a skin pattern of 1~ skin each year, and his last out came out July 30 2025. not even a clue or leak of any skin lines containing him

We’re getting bottom of the barrel treatment lmao and our last skin was some mythic, you’d think someone like aphelios would be kinda popular with his looks but nope

they made him a generic aa adc in the new season, nerfed his abilities, placebo buffs , called it a day

and there’s gonna be people who don’t read the post and say aphelios gets a skin yearly

Hello im a Unranked player that plays normal game for fun bc i can't be bothered to rankup anymore(Highest rank was plat)
The APC situation in botlane has gotten out of control so i started thinking if its a good idea to run Green Runes secondary and go Bone Plating and Overgrowth with Adaptive,MS and tenacity shards
could this idea of mine work or i am just trying to mend a injury that needs a whole surgery?

not only is pta way easier to proc, i feel like in extended fights pta still does more damage (or at worst, even damage with conq)

some breakpoints (ignoring conq healing for now):

lv 1: pta does 40, max conq is 13 ad

lv 6: pta does 75, max conq is 17.6

i always felt like pta did a ton of damage looking at replays, whereas the conq healing was piss but i never super analyzed conq damage

In tierlist of supports for aphelios i see some people puts sona on the very bottom segments. But also i see some people says its very good with aphelios and i saw some l9 edit about them being together. So which one is it if its really good like they say i might do it with my premate.

Since mage bot meta started my mind was always thinking they will do something soon but i guess they dont want to fix it so imma rant here because why not.
My problems with mages bot are is not that they have a massive winrate or that they are too op but that it makes laning completely obsolete its just a farming simulator. Mages just sit back and one shot the wave as a marksman you have to stand off the wave so you dont get hit with the abilities so its just farming simulator even more than before

Not trying to flame the supports in NA the server has traditionally rewarded scaling and slow play so there are not that many good engage support mains and to be honest the adc players in the server dont reward aggressive support players too much because of the passive play the server which makes countering mages even harder because if you’re support locks in sona lulu milio or a champion like that then its gg the lane is non existent so you just try to make plays and die.

Mages where by design built to be solo laners thats why almost all of them have cc that cc they have is what makes it so hard when enemy support locks in pyke or camille or pantheon because you get perma ccd and one shoted by them so what summoner spell do you take cleanse barrier ? Talking about summoners most mages take tp which completely changes the wave management and macro of the role even if you chunk the mage they just base and tp and they lose nothing actually you lose if you try to crash.

Even if you try to play something that counters a mage kat yasuo yone sylas or other assassin esc picks bot if the support picks enchanter its pretty hard so. Boots for adc are also pretty rough berserkers are horrible and if you take glutinous then you want kills and to snowball but if there is no interaction then how can you snowball pretty rough thank god c44 exists because if this mage bot meta cane when starting items where horrible for adc then we would be 100% cooked.

TLDR- Mages bot are not designed for botlane thay are designed for solo roles it makes laning boring and uninteresting supports have a bigger role to play now more than before so if you get a enchanter support even if you want to counter the mage its up to your support NA has a influx of enchanter supp players which is something the server has rewarded historically mages take tp making wave states and macro very different and even when locking in a traditional counter like a assassin its hard if sup cant play engage its not impossible to beat mages bot but its very boring also boots and summoner spells are a hard choice for traditional adc right now. Hope something is done and keep climbing guys and if you play mage bot u not cool :(

Iron Aphelios here. Obviously I’m iron so there is a lot I need to improve on. One pattern that happens a lot in my games tho is early on I get opportunities to trade with the enemy adc and it feels correct to do. Like if I trade an ash and the support gets the kill on me it should be a good thing. And I often will come out of lane ahead, but it feels really bad afterwards. Like if me and the enemy adc are both 6/6 with similar cs at 20 minutes I think that means I’m ahead cause I will outscale, but I know my average kd of 8.7/7.4/5.5 this season is bad. Should I just play to live always in lane and deny trading to death? What if my opponents are always all in. Like laneing into poppy/ash if I get a chance it feels wrong to not grab it.

ok so, recently i booted up league and then after each match i had someone random add me saying how i played very well etc.. we chat for a bit they say like their name was censored bc they were in streamer mode then they gave me their discord. i went there and i realised it is some weird activity when they asked me about my ign even tho they added me 3 min prior. and i played 3 matches and after all 3 of them i had a new friend requests. but it wasnt a bot, it was like a person but idk kinda uncanny.. and ofc they have girls in specific poses for their pfps on discord. I dont know what this is about, but guessing it is a scam. Does anyone know anything of this? also beware please,

I play tanks(toplane/support) and when my adc has mastery on aphelios i know we gonna win that lane so i try my best to peel and stun combo enemy🫡

Hi I’m playing Aphelios again after dropping him for a while. I really liked his build during the YunTal first meta. I know u.gg says C44 is best first but in the games I’ve bought it it feels awful. Its abilities are neat I guess but it feels just really bad and I’m not sure why it’s best. Are any other options really viable rn? YunTal, IE, Collector etc. reading the items myself YunTal looks like the best first item by far, with the only negative being a poor build path if you don’t get BF on first back.

Out of curiosity, if you plan to pick aphelios what do you usually ban? When I first started playing him i was banning ashe since she's a rough match up, but soon I realized not only is she not picked that much, even when she is picked enemy takes it only because its supposed to be a counterpick but they don't know why it is one, so I would still end up being fine in lane cause the enemy ashe didn't realize that she can just run me down with autos and I never win 1v1s especially post-6 where she can just ult at point blank range. Then I went through a phase of banning whatever was strong at the moment, Senna when she got buffed, Nafari, and others. Nowadays Jhin is my permaban, absolutely despise that champ and I don't want to play a single game against him. I tried banning Kai'sa a bit too because she can get quite disgusting with her all-in but one game against Jhin made me realize I'd rather face 10 kaisas than one jean.

I have played him before but dropped him.I main zeri and nilah and want more champions in my pool.Hwei is my alternative choice on bot but i need at least 2 more adcs. Aside from aphelios who else could fit my pool based on my mains?
