Neptune Retrograde in Aries

Neptune stations retrograde in Aries on July 7 at 5:54 AM, turning the dream back toward itself.

In astrology, Neptune is often connected to ideals and longing. It can show where we are inspired and where a story has taken on more meaning than we first realized.

When Neptune turns retrograde, the process becomes more reflective. Something that felt inspiring may need to be examined again. A goal may still matter, but the way we have been imagining it can start to change.

From July 7 through December 12, Neptune retraces the early degrees of Aries, moving from 4° Aries back to 1° Aries. Aries is the first move. It is the part of us that begins before the full plan is in place.

Neptune in Aries can blur the line between calling and reaction. It can make an impulse feel meaningful before we have had time to understand where it came from.

When Neptune turns retrograde here, the fire starts asking what it has been burning for. This can bring a review of what we are chasing and what kind of person we are trying to become through our actions.

Lead-In

Mercury stationed retrograde in Cancer on June 29, so the mind has already been moving backward through old protection patterns. Cancer remembers what the body learned first. Before Neptune turns around in Aries, Mercury is already asking where the feeling came from.

At the end of June, Jupiter entered Leo. This brought more heat into confidence and the desire to be seen. Jupiter in Leo can make the personal story feel larger, while Mercury retrograde in Cancer pulls that story back through older emotional material.

Then Mars met Uranus in Gemini on July 3/4. That brought a faster, sharper quality into the days before the station. Gemini moves through words and quick changes. Mars with Uranus can bring sudden movement or a sudden opening that changes the plan.

The Last Quarter Moon also falls in Aries later that same day. That gives the station a release-point feeling. Something about the current fire may need to be adjusted before the next New Moon in Cancer on July 14.

Dispositor Chain

This station happens in Aries, so Neptune reports to Mars. Saturn is also in Aries, which means Saturn’s pressure reports to Mars too. The dream and the test are both answering to Mars in Gemini.

Mars in Gemini reports to Mercury retrograde in Cancer. The action moves through choices and messages, but Mercury is moving backward through old protection patterns.

Mercury then reports to the Moon in Aries. The Moon in Aries reports back to Mars in Gemini.

So the station chart makes a dispositor loop between Mars, Mercury, and the Moon.

After the Station

Venus enters Virgo on July 9, bringing attention to what needs to be sorted or made useful. After the Leo heat at the end of June, Virgo starts asking what can actually be worked with. This can help bring Neptune’s Aries dream back into practical contact with daily life.

Then the New Moon in Cancer arrives on July 14 while Mercury is still retrograde. This brings the story back to home and emotional safety. If Neptune retrograde in Aries asks what the fire is for, the Cancer New Moon asks what the fire is protecting.

Mid-July opens the larger outer planet pattern.

Uranus in Gemini sextiles Neptune on July 15, bringing new language to the dream. A few days later, Jupiter in Leo connects with Neptune and Pluto, making the personal story feel larger while also testing how much attention or control has entered the room.

This is where Neptune retrograde may become easier to see.

Mercury stations direct in Cancer on July 23, so the memory-work starts moving forward again. Conversations that were tangled earlier in the month may become easier to name, though Mercury stays in Cancer for a while longer.

Then Neptune sextiles Pluto on July 25. This gives the station a deeper collective layer. Neptune in Aries is reviewing the dream of action, while Pluto in Aquarius is transforming the group field. Personal courage and collective change start speaking to each other.

Saturn stations retrograde in Aries on July 26, bringing a second turn in the same sign. Neptune turns first, then Saturn follows. The dream and then the structure turn inward.

By the end of the month, the Full Moon in Aquarius brings the story into the people we are building the future with. This is important because Neptune retrograde begins with the self in Aries, but the month carries the fire into the wider field.

Impact on Your Chart

Neptune Rx Impact Chart

This Neptune retrograde’s main tracking range is 1° to 4° Aries.

Who may feel this Neptune retrograde most:

  • Cardinal placements near 1° to 4°: Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn placements may feel this retrograde more directly. Aries receives Neptune, Cancer and Capricorn receive the squares, and Libra receives the opposition.
  • Fire placements near 1° to 4°: Leo and Sagittarius placements may feel this by trine, while Aries placements receive the station directly.
  • Air placements near 1° to 4°: Gemini and Aquarius placements may feel this through sextiles. This can bring ideas, conversations, networks, and future-oriented thinking into contact with the Neptune story.
  • Aries risings: Neptune retrogrades through your 1st house, so this may feel personal and tied to the way you are learning to name yourself.
  • Pisces risings: Neptune is your chart ruler by modern rulership, so this station may stand out even though it is moving through your 2nd house by Whole Sign.
  • Neptune-ruled or 12th house years: If Neptune is prominent in your natal chart, or if you are in a 12th house profection year, this station may speak through the need to step back from what has become too blurry.
  • Placements near 4° Aries, Gemini, Leo, or Aquarius: This degree range becomes part of the mid-July Fire-Air pattern, so the station may connect to a larger story around community and future direction.

Transit Chart for July 7 at 5:54 AM

Chart ruler: Sun, Leo Rising
Profection ruler: Mercury, Gemini 11th House
Current Solar Return ruler: Venus, Libra rising, lands in my 3rd house

My Natal Neptune is in Capricorn in my 6th house.

  • Neptune conjunct Mercury in Capricorn 6th
  • Neptune conjunct Uranus in Capricorn 6th
  • Neptune trine Jupiter in Virgo 2nd
  • Neptune-Uranus-Mercury square my MC in Aries 9th

I was born with Neptune in Capricorn in my 6th house, conjunct Mercury and Uranus. This is a big part of how I read patterns. Mercury gives the language while Uranus gives me the signal. Neptune gives the image that has to be translated before I can explain it.

That conjunction also trines my Jupiter in Virgo in the 2nd house. So the channel is tied to my values and the way I build meaning through repeated practice. Virgo Jupiter wants usefulness and Capricorn Neptune wants the vision to become a system. The trine between them is part of why daily tracking became such a natural language for me.

But natal Neptune also squares my Aries MC...

My Capricorn 6th house wants to keep working in the background. It wants the daily practice, the refining, the repetition, and the system that gets stronger because I return to it over time.

My Aries MC wants the work to go somewhere. It wants action and a public point of arrival.

So there is a square between the place where I make the work and the place where the work becomes seen.

With Neptune involved, that pressure can get strange. The pattern can feel alive before I know how to explain it. My mind can make cartwheels out of distant connections. Then the Aries MC starts pulling it into visibility, and suddenly the private practice feels like a public test and this is where I get caught a lot.

Neptune stations retrograde at 4° Aries in my 9th house.

  • Neptune sextiles my Sun at 1° Aquarius 7th.
  • Neptune quincunxes my Moon at 0° Virgo 2nd.
  • Neptune trines my Leo ASC-Chiron field, though separating

The station sextiles my Sun in Aquarius in the 7th house, and this has shown up through people. I came into Reddit after a long hermit period when Neptune first entered Aries last year, so being seen in public again was stressful at first but I was also sharing what I knew and feeling good about letting the astrology move between me and other people.

This aspect has been supportive through the people around the work. Most of what I have received has helped me live the 7th house side of the transit: replies, chart conversations, regular readers, and people walking with me as the practice grows. The 9th house Neptune vision is still mine, but the sextile to my 7th house Sun makes the dream relational. It gets stronger through contact.

The quincunx to my Virgo Moon in the 2nd house is the adjustment point. My Moon tracks the body and the daily rhythm, while the 2nd house brings in resources and sustainability. The question here is how to keep the Almanac/subreddit going in a way my body can actually support.

The old Arcbook I worked on took about an hour and a half each day, and because it was private, it could follow my energy.

Example page from my Arcbook

August 19, 2025

The Daily Almanac is different because it turns that tracking into something other people can use. It needs more language and structure. When the Almanacs get too long, it becomes harder to keep producing them, so the Virgo Moon adjustment is practical: weekends off, a more data-driven format, a better support system around the subreddit. The practice can continue if the format becomes usable.

Neptune has also been trining my Leo Ascendant and Chiron field, and this has made visibility more active in my life. It has been stressful because it is new material, but it has also brought people forward to see what I believe in.

The painful part of Chiron and my natal Neptune-MC square is the fear of being wrong in public. I am afraid of making a mistake in a post (even though I want people to tell me if something needs correcting). I try to prevent errors as much as possible because a small mistake can hit my self-worth super hard. Neptune makes those mistakes pretty common. With Neptune stationing retrograde and it begins separating from that trine, visibility feels like something being stabilized. I am learning how to carry being seen as part of the practice.

I also want to bring in the transiting South Node. When Neptune stationed direct in Pisces on December 10, 2025, I stopped working in my daily Arcbook as often. At that time, the South Node was moving over my natal Jupiter in Virgo in the 2nd house. The Arcbook helped me gather meaning and build confidence through repetition, but it also took daily energy.

As the subreddit became more active, I wanted to talk to more people and answer more charts, so the private tracking had to loosen. When the South Node touched Jupiter, it released the private knowledge habit and I stopped working on the Arcbook and started interacting with people more.

Now Neptune is stationing retrograde in Aries while the South Node is on my Moon in Virgo and this is the same story moving into the daily rhythm. The way I track the sky is being released into the world. The Arcbook is coming back as the Daily Almanac.

This feels like the heart of this Neptune station for me: Neptune direct helped me release the private Arcbook so I could focus on people’s charts, while Neptune retrograde is helping me bring the Arcbook back as the Almanac. This time, the practice needs a format my body can keep holding.

Questions

  1. Do you have anything near 1° to 4° Aries in your chart, or does that degree range contact any of your planets, angles, or points by aspect?
  2. Where does Aries fall in your chart?
  3. What began forming in that area of life since March, when Neptune entered the retrograde zone?

Feel free to bring in any personal placements that were affected, or anything else you noticed in the sky. If you noticed something important in any astrology format, you are welcome to add that too.

I think I have an interesting solar chart for 2026

I'm seeing Venus Conjunct Descendant, Jupiter and moon in 7th house. I see solar vertex in 7th house. It's opposite natal vertex (? significant or not?) I see Juno 1st house.

Solar ascendant is Capricorn, this is my natal 5th house but some reports say it's in natal 4th house.

Sun is 4th house. Moon is in Leo in 7th house.

If the love of my life isn't on the way this year I give up.

Interested in others thoughts 😊😊😊

[July 4, 2026] Check-In on the Mars-Uranus Conjunction

Hey Arcwalkers! What’s sparking?

Earlier this morning, Mars and Uranus met in Gemini. The conjunction perfected on July 4, 2026, around 1:08 AM Central Time, at about 3° Gemini.

Mars-Uranus conjunctions can act like ignition points. Mars brings the urge to act. Uranus brings the odd turn that breaks a pattern. In Gemini, that spark moves through messages, media, technology, local movement, airspace, the nervous system, and the stories passing between people.

For timing, I’m giving this a wider window than the faster bodies I usually track in the Almanacs. Around this conjunction, Mars is moving about half a degree per day. That means a 3° applying orb gives us about six days of build-up.

So for this check-in, I’m treating the wider Mars-Uranus window as the six days before and six days after the exact conjunction, from June 28 through July 10, 2026. This makes it more of a mid-transit check-in.

The Symbolism: Mars, Uranus, Gemini, and the Conjunction

When I look at Mars, I’m looking at heat. Mars shows where something gets activated, where pressure rises, where action wants a place to go. It can cut, move, provoke, defend, and push a situation out of stillness.

When I look at Uranus, I’m looking at the break in the pattern. Uranus can bring the strange turn that changes the whole situation. It has the feeling of something being snapped open.

Then we put both of them in Gemini.

Gemini is where information moves. It carries the message, the route, the signal, and the nervous system’s first response.

Mars is peregrine in Gemini, so Mars does not have its usual tools here. It has to work through Mercury. At this degree, Mars is also in Mercury’s bound, which makes Mercury retrograde in Cancer even more important.

Uranus is not part of the traditional dignity system, but using modern rulership, Gemini gives Uranus an air-sign pathway through a trine to its ruler ship in Aquarius. So Uranus can move through the wires here, while Mars adds heat to the signal.

A conjunction begins a cycle. Mars and Uranus came together in Gemini, so this is the start of a new Gemini storyline between action and disruption.

The Dispositor Chain

Because Mars and Uranus met in Gemini, the conjunction reports to Mercury.

Mercury is retrograde in Cancer, so the Gemini spark doubled back into Cancer topics: memory, family, home, protection, and the body’s older stories.

Mercury in Cancer reports to the Moon, so the public mood and the feeling-body became part of the circuit.

At the moment of the conjunction, the Moon was still in Aquarius. That made the chain run from Mars-Uranus in Gemini, to Mercury in Cancer, to the Aquarius Moon, to Saturn in Aries, then back to Mars in Gemini.

Before the Moon enters Pisces

So the first spark had more edge. The signal moved through Cancer memory, Aquarius distance, Saturn pressure, and Mars activation.

Shortly after the conjunction, the Moon entered Pisces. That changes the aftermath. The Moon in Pisces reports to Jupiter in Leo, Jupiter reports to the Sun in Cancer, and the Sun reports back to the Moon.

After Moon enters Pisces

So the exact hit feels sharper, while the separating field feels more emotional and diffuse.

The Current Sky

https://preview.redd.it/u73188l4h9bh1.png?width=1400&format=png&auto=webp&s=d18d9b02c13c00567eca4b64ec77257dd18ba29f

Mars and Uranus met around 3° Gemini, with Mercury retrograde in Cancer holding the rulership of the conjunction.

Mars recently squared the lunar nodes in late Pisces and Virgo before meeting Uranus. Uranus squared the nodes in June too, so this conjunction comes out of a nodal field. This gives the conjunction a crossroads feeling, especially for early mutable placements.

At the moment of the conjunction, the Moon was at the end of Aquarius, heading toward Pisces. About twenty minutes after the exact Mars-Uranus hit, the Moon entered Pisces, crossed the North Node, then squared Uranus and Mars later this morning. So the Moon has already carried the conjunction into the feeling field.

Neptune is almost stopped in early Aries, preparing to station retrograde on July 7. Mars and Uranus are both close to Neptune by sextile, with Mars moving into its exact sextile with Neptune later today. This gives the spark a strange spiritual charge. Gemini brings the message, while Neptune makes the signal dreamlike and harder to pin down.

Pluto is retrograde in early Aquarius, with Mars moving into a trine. Uranus is building toward its trine with Pluto later in July. Mars is lighting up part of that larger outer-planet circuit, so the conjunction carries more than a personal irritation or strange news week.

Jupiter recently entered Leo, fresh in a new sign during this window, while squaring Chiron in Taurus. Jupiter is also beginning to move toward its July aspects with Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. The Mars-Uranus spark has room to grow as July unfolds.

The Sun is in Cancer and applying to a square with Saturn in Aries. While Mercury retrograde pulls the story through memory and emotional safety, the Sun-Saturn square adds pressure around responsibilities and having to hold the line.

The Mars-Uranus Arc

This is also part of a longer Mars-Uranus storyline. The July 4 conjunction is a seed point, but it came after the last Mars-Uranus cycle and will continue unfolding through future aspects.

Some dates I’m watching:

  • July 15, 2024: Mars conjunct Uranus at 26° Taurus. This was the previous seed point. Taurus brought the story into the places where life asks to feel secure.
    • This was when Todd and I moved closer to my parents, and having them nearby helped me settle into a better routine. That stability gave me enough ground to start believing I could become an astrologer. Taurus is my 10th house.
  • June 15, 2025: Mars square Uranus. The first square after the Taurus conjunction. Mars in Leo pressed against Uranus in Taurus, bringing tension between visibility and stability.
    • This was when I created u/arcwalkerlivvia and began writing astrology comments and posts on Reddit, after starting a new medication that helped me show up more consistently.
  • November 4, 2025: Mars opposite Uranus. The confrontation point of the Taurus cycle. Mars in Sagittarius opposed Uranus in Gemini, bringing belief against data and the larger story against the thing being said.
    • This was when I wanted to switch back to an older medication because the new one was no longer working for me long-term. My psychiatrist wanted me off my other medications before I could restart it.
  • February 27, 2026: Mars square Uranus. Mars in Aquarius squared Uranus in Taurus, pressing groups, technology, resources, bodies, and stability against each other.
    • This was during “Sleepy Mode,” when I had stopped doing astrology work on Reddit and the medication I wanted to return to was still being withheld from me.
  • TODAY, July 4, 2026: Mars conjunct Uranus at 3°52′ Gemini. This is the new seed point. Mars and Uranus begin a Gemini story around messages, speech, media, data and the nervous system.
    • I now have my older medication back, and it has been helping me show up for the Almanac more consistently!
  • December 4, 2026: Mars square Uranus. The first square of the new cycle. Mars in Virgo squares Uranus in Gemini, bringing a stress-test around the flaw in the machine.
  • February 17, 2027: Mars square Uranus. The retrograde square. Mars in Virgo comes back over the same pressure point, so the system gets reviewed again.
  • May 28, 2027: Mars square Uranus. The final Virgo-Gemini square. This is the third pass of the stress-test, where the adjustment has a chance to become usable.
  • October 28, 2027: Mars opposite Uranus. The confrontation point of the Gemini cycle. Mars in Sagittarius opposes Uranus in Gemini, bringing message against meaning again: data against belief.
  • February 17, 2028: Mars square Uranus. Mars in Pisces squares Uranus in Gemini. The struggle to separate signal from noise.
  • June 23, 2028: Mars conjunct Uranus at 11° Gemini. The next seed point in the Gemini storyline. Mercury joins the field around this conjunction too.

Who May Be Affected

Mars-Uranus Impact Chart

You may feel this more strongly if you have planets or angles around 0° to 7° of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces.

  • Early mutable placements near 0° to 7°: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces placements may feel the Mars-Uranus conjunction most directly. Gemini receives the conjunction, Virgo and Pisces receive the square, and Sagittarius receives the opposition.
  • Early fire placements near 0° to 7°: Aries and Leo placements may feel the Mars-Uranus sextile as a more active or expressive current.
  • Early air placements near 0° to 7°: Libra and Aquarius placements may feel the Mars-Uranus trine as a social or future-facing current.
  • Mercury-ruled charts: Gemini risings, Virgo risings, and Mercury profection years may feel this field more personally, since Gemini answers to Mercury.
  • Mars-ruled charts: Aries risings, Scorpio risings, and Mars profection years may feel this field more personally, since Mars is part of the conjunction.
  • Uranus-sensitive charts: Aquarius placements, Aquarius risings, and charts with Uranus near an angle may feel this field more personally.

Walking with Livvia

My Whole Sign Chart

Chart ruler: Sun, Leo Rising
Profection ruler: Mercury, Gemini 11th House
Current Solar Return ruler: Venus, Libra rising, lands in my 3rd house

Let's start by talking a little about how Mars and Uranus affect my own chart, because both planets are pretty powerful for me.

I have Mars in Capricorn in the 6th house, where it is exalted and in its joy, so yay for that! Hahah. My Mars is ruled by Saturn in Aquarius in the 7th house. Saturn is out of sect for me, but it also has rulership, so there is strength there too.

My Mars is also conjunct my North Node, which makes the nodal axis super sensitive in my chart. So with Mars squaring the nodes, then Uranus doing the same shortly after, the Almanacs started to feel fated in a way. Mars gave me the push, but Uranus was part of the larger ignition.

I also have Uranus in Capricorn in the 6th house, about 5 degrees from my Mars-North Node conjunction. Close enough to be part of the same field, but with its own charge. Using modern rulerships, Saturn rules Uranus, but Uranus also rules Saturn, so Uranus and Saturn are in mutual reception in my chart.

Uranus is also part of my Mercury-Neptune conjunction in Capricorn in the 6th house, which trines my retrograde Jupiter in Virgo in the 2nd. So when Mars and Uranus are activated, it is activating a huge part of my chart.

Uranus rules my 7th house, while Mars rules my 4th and 9th. This conjunction has made me feel more secure in my 4th house base, especially as my 9th house views have been changing across the Mars-Uranus cycle that started in 2024.

The 7th house piece may be the biggest change. I am interacting with so many people now, after being a complete hermit for about 8 years. That is a massive life change for me.

Being in an 11th house Gemini profection year also fits so perfectly! I am building a community of like-minded people, a living web of voices and patterns, and that community feels like it is helping support all of the encompassing goals I am moving toward in my next 12th house profection year.

  • Natal: Moon conjunct my Sun in Aquarius 7th.
  • Global: Moon in Aquarius 7th trined Mars in Gemini 11th.
  • Global: Jupiter in Leo 1st squared Chiron in Taurus 10th.

July 2 - Aquarius Moon / Pluto / Saturn

  • Natal: Moon in Aquarius 7th opposed my ASC-Chiron in Leo 1st.
  • Global: Moon in Aquarius 7th conjunct Pluto in Aquarius 7th.
  • Natal: Moon conjunct my Saturn in Aquarius 7th.

July 3 - Aquarius Moon / Mercury retrograde field

  • Global: Jupiter in Leo 1st quincunxed the True Node in Pisces 8th.
  • Natal: Moon in Aquarius 7th sextiled my Venus in Sagittarius 5th.

July 4 - Exact Mars-Uranus spark

  • Global: Mars conjunct Uranus in Gemini 11th.
  • Global: Moon entered Pisces 8th.
  • Natal: Moon in Pisces 8th opposed my Moon in Virgo 2nd.
  • Global: Moon conjunct the True Node in Pisces 8th.
  • Global: Moon in Pisces 8th squared Mars-Uranus in Gemini 11th.

For me, the wider Mars-Uranus window started with Mars entering Gemini on June 28 and moving into my 11th house.

That day, the Moon met my Venus in Sagittarius. I was low because I had been away from the Almanacs for about a week. I also had a Mercury retrograde post removed from r/AdvancedAstrology. The removal reason said I had asked a beginner question, even though I gave a forecast. That left me very confused.

Since the post got removed there, I ended up bringing the Mercury retrograde thread back to my own subreddit. Doing this gave me enough momentum to start the Almanacs again the next day.

On June 29, Mercury stationed retrograde in my Cancer 12th house. The Capricorn Moon moved through my 6th house and met my North Node. The Capricorn Full Moon pulled across my 6H/12H axis, and Mars in Gemini squared the True Node in Pisces.

I had stopped the Almanacs on June 22. I think the Mercury station slowed me down, and once the main stall passed, I had a better reason to come back with a shorter version. Something I could keep up with when the day is harder.

On June 30, Jupiter entered Leo and moved into my 1st house. Mars in Gemini trined my Aquarius Sun, and Venus in Leo trined my Aries MC. The Cancer Sun also opposed my Capricorn North Node and Mars.

Around this same time, I reached out to my brother because I have been wanting to read again. He is a big book person, and he gave me some titles to help me ease back in. He has a Gemini Mercury and Venus, so of course he knew where to point me.

On July 1, the Moon entered Aquarius and met my Sun in the 7th house. The Moon trined Mars in Gemini, and Jupiter in Leo squared Chiron in Taurus.

As the Jupiter-Chiron square was applying, I had a painful run-in with my psychiatrist. I am stable now and I have support, but the appointment stayed in my nervous system. It kept replaying in my head. I kept answering it in my mind. It was a lot of psychic energy.

With the Moon moving through my 6th house field and squaring Saturn in Aries, then Jupiter in my 1st pressing into Chiron in my 10th, it felt ready for an authority wound to get touched.

By July 3, I was also thinking about how to protect my rhythm. Jupiter in Leo quincunxed the True Node in Pisces, and the Aquarius Moon sextiled my Sagittarius Venus. I started leaning into the idea of taking weekends off from the Almanac. I can post Friday with some weekend coverage and give myself more room to conserve energy.

Then on July 4, Mars and Uranus met in my Gemini 11th house. The Moon enteres Pisces, moves into my 8th house, opposes my Virgo Moon, crosses the True Node, and squares Mars-Uranus.

Right before I sat down to finish this post, Todd came to me upset about information he found.

I’m going to talk about Lumber’s passing for a moment here, so please take care around this part.

Todd was looking back at a pain-shot Lumber received about a month or two before he passed, to help his aches. Lumber passed during the Mercury retrograde pre-shadow, and Todd has Cancer in his 6th house, so this retrograde is moving through pet matters for him. He found information that made him wonder if the medication could have played a part in Lumber’s broken bones and eventual passing. We were told bone cancer, but now there is another thread he is trying to understand.

He was angry and crushed. I talked him through it as best I could. We chose that medication from love. We were trying to help Lumber and now we can carry more awareness into future medication choices.

That felt like Mars-Uranus in Gemini arriving through information. One piece of data came through and hit an old grief point. Mercury retrograde in Cancer took the message straight into memory and caretaking.

So this Mars-Uranus window has been moving through my Gemini 11th house of groups and online space, but it keeps routing back into the private 12th house room.

It brought me back to the Almanac, bumped me against authority, and it also brought an old grief thread back through new information.

That is the field I am walking through as Mars separates from Uranus.

Questions

  1. Have you noticed this Mars-Uranus in Gemini conjunction? How has it affected you?
  2. What house is early Gemini in for you?
  3. Do you have any planets/placements/angles around 0° to 7°?
  4. Did anything spark during the wider window starting on June 28?

Feel free to bring in any personal placements that were affected, or anything else you noticed in the sky. If you noticed something important in any astrology format, you are welcome to add that too.

The Arcwalker Almanac - Thursday, July 2, 2026

The Moon stays in Aquarius all day, carrying yesterday’s sign change into a full day of community and future-facing thought.

The day begins with the Aquarius Moon conjunct Pluto, so the field may open with a stronger sense of what is underneath the surface. By midday, the Moon quincunxes the Cancer Sun, which can bring an adjustment between emotional privacy and social distance. By evening, the Aquarius Moon sextiles Saturn in Aries, giving the day a little more structure after the early fixed-field intensity.

Key Timings

Opening Window

  • 12:11 AM: The Aquarius Moon conjuncts Pluto in Aquarius. The night carries the Aquarius field deeper, with more pattern-sense and a stronger pull toward what is hidden underneath the surface.

Live Field

  • 12:02 PM: The Aquarius Moon quincunxes the Cancer Sun. This can bring an adjustment between private feeling and social distance, or between the body’s inner memory and the mind’s wider perspective.
  • 6:48 PM: The Aquarius Moon sextiles Saturn in Aries. The evening may bring a little more structure or containment after a more detached or mentally active day.

Overnight Carryover

  • Friday, 7:14 AM: Jupiter in Leo quincunxes the True Node in Pisces. This can bring an adjustment between personal visibility or creative expansion and the larger direction something is trying to move toward.

Chart Tracking

Today’s main tracking ranges are 4° to 8° / 10° to 14° / 22° to 26°.

Who May Feel Today’s Main Contacts Most:

  • Early fixed placements near 4° to 8°: Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio placements may feel the Moon-Pluto contact and the Moon’s opposition to early Leo placements most directly.
  • Early air and fire placements near 4° to 8°: Aquarius placements may receive the Moon directly, while Gemini and Libra placements may receive trines from the Aquarius Moon. Aries and Sagittarius placements near these degrees may receive sextiles, which can make the Aquarius field easier to work with or translate into action.
  • Cardinal placements near 10° to 14°: Cancer placements may feel the Sun side of the quincunx, while Aries placements may feel Saturn’s part of the Moon-Saturn sextile. Capricorn and Libra placements near these degrees may feel the cardinal pressure points around the Sun and Saturn.
  • Mercury, Venus, or Sun ruled charts: Gemini risings, Virgo risings, Taurus risings, Libra risings, Leo risings, Mercury profection years, Venus profection years, and Sun profection years may feel today’s field more personally.

One thing I forgot to mention in yesterday’s post is that we took our car in to get work done on the scratches it got shortly after we bought it. This is a Mercury retrograde story if I have ever seen one. I wrote more about the original car mess in my Mercury Enters Aries post, but the short version is that we started the buying process during Mercury retrograde in Pisces. Documents were delayed and signatures happened later than expected. Then right after we got the car home, a windstorm sent a greenhouse into it and scratched it all up!

I had limited say in when we bought the car, so this is a timing lesson you can learn through me, hahahaha. With more control over timing, I would choose a different window for a car purchase. Life gives its own chart sometimes, and then the chart becomes something to track. So I win either way, hahaha.

I have a few charts for the car story. We bought the car on March 7, though I do not have the time for that one. I do have the time we picked it up and got inside to turn it on, which was March 11 at 12:08 PM. I also have the first time we took it somewhere, which was later that day at 6:38 PM when we drove it to the movies.

Those two charts can track different parts of the story. The pickup chart feels more like the car’s first time with us, or the moment the car entered our life as something physically in our care. The first outing chart may describe how the car behaves through movement and trips. For this repair story, the pickup chart feels more relevant because the scratches happened after we physically took possession of the car.

Car Pick-up Chart

Car Pick-up Chart

The pickup chart has about 0° Cancer rising, so the chart opens through Cancer. It begins with what needs to be kept safe. The Ascendant squares Saturn and Neptune in Aries in the 10th house by whole sign, with Venus also in Aries but farther away. That describes a public or official problem around a valued object. Saturn brings the structural issue, while Neptune brings the fog. Venus brings the value piece of a newer car.

The chart ruler is the Moon in Sagittarius in the 6th house, square the Sun in Pisces in the 9th. That fits the way the car became a practical daily-life problem that sprawled into a larger Jupiter-ruled story. Sagittarius and Pisces can widen the field, and with Mercury retrograde in Pisces, the details became slippery. The story moved through delays, and a sense of trying to understand how this happened.

Jupiter was in Cancer in the 1st house of the pickup chart, which I like. There is protection in the chart too. The car stayed with us, the damage could be repaired, and support came through eventually. Jupiter was tied into Mercury retrograde in Pisces by trine, so the help came through a watery paper trail. Mercury retrograde was also moving toward the North Node in Pisces near the MC, which makes the whole thing feel like a visible fate-thread around paperwork and direction.

The repair work is planned to be finished before Mercury Rx ends, so I'll keep this story updated!

Otherwise, I got a good recovery day in. Thank you to everyone who commented on yesterday’s post. Todd’s brother called him later in the day after the Moon was in Aquarius, and he brought up questions around life insurance. That felt like an Aquarius Moon moment to me. Aquarius often looks ahead and thinks about the larger structure around people. Life insurance is also a future-oriented shared-life topic. It asks what kind of system needs to exist for later.

The Gemini piece felt important too. The Aquarius Moon was trining Mars and Uranus in Gemini, and Gemini is a symbol I often see around Todd and his brother. Todd grew up with a brother in a household that made them tightly bonded. Todd has Gemini in his 5th house near Chiron, and that spot trines my Aquarius Sun. I often think of his childhood relationship with his brother as one of the healing forces connected to my own goals and dreams.

The Moon was squaring Chiron in Taurus, while Jupiter in Leo was also squaring Chiron, so the Chiron field was active through the day. That made the life insurance conversation feel sensitive but useful. It touched the softer places around what it means to care for someone beyond the present moment.

Today’s Aspects - Moon in Aquarius 7th house

  • Global: Moon conjuncts Pluto in Aquarius 7th.
  • Natal: Moon opposes my ASC-Chiron in Leo 1st.
  • Natal: Moon conjuncts my Saturn in Aquarius 7th.
  • Global: 10° Moon quincunxes Sun in Cancer 12th.
  • Natal: 25° Merc Rx in Cancer 12th quincunxes my Venus in Sag 5th.
  • Natal: 13° Moon in Aquarius 7th quincunxes my Jupiter in Virgo 2nd.
  • Global: 14° Moon sextiles Saturn in Aries 9th.
  • Natal: 22° Venus in Leo 1st squares my Pluto in Scorpio 4th.

Today is the first open day I have had in over a week. Yesterday became open after I canceled group therapy, but that still came with some guilt worked into it. Today’s main ask is laundry, which feels very simple. The Aquarius Moon is moving through my 7th house, but with the Sun in Cancer in my 12th, I want to stay gentle with how much of myself I give outward.

The day started with the Moon conjunct Pluto in Aquarius in my 7th house, then the Moon moved over the part of my chart that opposes my Leo ASC-Chiron. That makes the people-field feel noticeable today. I can feel the pull between being present with others and keeping enough space around my own body. With the Moon also crossing my natal Saturn in Aquarius, I am trying to let the day have structure without making the structure feel like pressure.

The Aquarius Moon quincunx the Cancer Sun also fits the mood. Part of me wants to post the almanac, reply to a few people, and stay connected to the wider web but another part of me wants to let the day settle around me from inside the Cancer 12th house field. I do think both can exist together today if I let the contact stay soft.

Mercury retrograde in Cancer is also quincunxing my Venus in Sagittarius, and this is the second Mercury-Venus quincunx contact. The first one happened on June 26, which was the day Todd and I went to pick up Lumber’s ashes. We have been in a kind of free fall since that happened, and all of this has unfolded inside the Mercury retrograde window.

This matters a lot for today because I still have delayed Father’s Day gifts for Todd to wrap and give him. I am often late with gifts, which I have mentioned in these posts before, haha. This Mercury retrograde window added grief and slowed timing to the usual delay. Today feels like the first day with enough space to let that care come back into motion by giving him the gifts and recuperating from some of the stress around Lumber.

Venus in Leo is squaring my Pluto in Scorpio too, so the gift piece feels a little deeper than the surface. Venus in my 1st house wants to show love and appreciation. Pluto in my 4th house brings in the private roots underneath it.

I also want to open another Arcwalk sign-up tomorrow, so getting through at least two more walks would help me feel more comfortable doing that. I am leaving that on the table today rather than forcing it. The Moon quincunx my Jupiter in Virgo in the 2nd house makes me aware of my energy and pace. The Moon sextile Saturn in Aries later in the day may help me find a workable amount of direction without turning the whole day into a demand.

Week Ahead

  • Thursday, July 2: The Moon stays in Aquarius all day. This keeps the field focused on future-thinking and the wider social web.
  • Friday, July 3: Jupiter in Leo quincunxes the True Node in Pisces in the morning. The Moon stays in Aquarius through most of the day, then opposes Venus in Leo and goes void before heading toward Pisces overnight.
  • Saturday, July 4: The Moon enters Pisces, and Mars conjoins Uranus in Gemini. Mars also sextiles Neptune in Aries. This is the biggest Mars day of the week, with a fast and mentally charged field.
  • Sunday, July 5: Mars in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius. After the Mars-Uranus spark, Mars-Pluto gives the weekend a sharper current for focus and cutting through a tangled thread.
  • Monday, July 6: The Sun in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries while the Moon enters Aries. This is the pressure point of the week, where the emotional field meets limits and the need for direction.
  • Tuesday, July 7: The Moon stays in Aries, and Neptune stations retrograde in Aries. This keeps the fire field active, but Neptune turning retrograde makes the day more surreal and strange around momentum.
  • Wednesday, July 8: The Moon enters Taurus and then conjoins Chiron. After the Aries pressure and Neptune station, the field moves into the places where sensitivity may ask for something more tangible.

Current reply path

I plan to post the next Arcwalk signup tomorrow! I am going to check in with #1 and #6, reply to them, and then finish at least two more Arcwalks. If that all lines up, I should have 9 slots open for tomorrow.

I know some of you have asked whether I can add people to the list ahead of time, especially because I do not always post the signup during a timezone window that works for everyone. I hear you on that, and I am still trying to figure out the fairest way to handle it.

For now, I am keeping new spots tied to the signup post itself. My worry is that if I start adding people outside the signup, I can already see how it could turn into a long side-list that becomes outdated before I can actually sit down with the charts.

I want to help as many people as I can while keeping the list current, so thank you for being patient with me while I keep figuring out the best rhythm. I am open to suggestions too!

The Arcwalker Almanac - Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5, 2026

Happy weekend, Arcwalkers! I’m keeping the Almanac on a Monday through Friday rhythm, so today’s post carries the weekend field too. Check Key Timings below for more information. 🌙

The Moon stays in Aquarius for most of the day, continuing yesterday’s focus on community, future-thinking, pattern recognition, and the wider social web.

The morning begins with Jupiter in Leo quincunx the True Node in Pisces. This can bring an adjustment between personal visibility and the larger direction something is trying to move toward. Leo wants confidence and creative presence. Pisces asks the path to stay less controlled.

By midday, the Aquarius Moon opposes Venus in Leo. This brings the relationship and visibility field forward. Aquarius can watch from a distance, while Leo Venus wants warmth and direct response. The Moon enters its traditional void after the Venus opposition, then still quincunxes Mercury retrograde in Cancer later in the void field. The evening may carry a suspended feeling around communication and whether something lands emotionally.

Mars is also applying to Uranus in Gemini all day. This conjunction perfects overnight, so even before the exact contact, the background field is fast, sharp, mentally charged, and more likely to bring sudden movement through messages, technology, transportation, nervous systems, and the group field.

Key Timings

Friday, July 3

  • 7:14 AM: Jupiter in Leo quincunxes the True Node in Pisces. The morning asks for an adjustment between personal growth and the path that is pulling something toward surrender.
  • 12:27 PM: The Aquarius Moon opposes Venus in Leo. Social distance meets the need for warmth here, with attention moving toward response and how connection is received.
  • 12:27 PM: The Aquarius Moon enters its traditional void after opposing Venus and stays void until it enters Pisces overnight. The afternoon may carry the Venus question forward instead of settling it right away.
  • 4:58 PM: The Aquarius Moon quincunxes Mercury retrograde in Cancer. Even in the void field, memory still tugs at the future-facing Moon, asking the mind to account for private feeling.

Saturday, July 4

  • 1:07 AM: Mars conjuncts Uranus in Gemini. This is one of the bigger weekend signatures, bringing sudden movement, nervous charge, technical disruption, or feeling that something wants to break pattern quickly.
  • 1:30 AM: The Moon enters Pisces. This moves the weekend field from Aquarius distance into Pisces sensitivity, dreaminess, porous feeling, and emotional blending.
  • 2:23 AM: The Pisces Moon sextiles Chiron in Taurus. This can bring a softer opening around places where tenderness may need something simple and real to hold onto.
  • 2:50 AM: The Pisces Moon conjuncts the True Node. This can make the emotional field feel fated or strangely meaningful, especially around spiritual direction and old patterns dissolving.
  • 3:12 AM: The Pisces Moon quincunxes Jupiter in Leo. This can bring an adjustment between emotional surrender and personal visibility, or between wanting to melt into the field and wanting to be seen clearly inside it.
  • 8:59 AM: The Pisces Moon squares Uranus in Gemini. This can make the morning feel mentally electric or harder to settle, especially if information, plans, messages, or nervous-system sparks come in quickly.
  • 9:25 AM: The Pisces Moon squares Mars in Gemini. This carries the Mars-Uranus charge into the body of the day, so words, errands, decisions, and reactions may move faster than the emotional field can process.
  • 7:44 PM: Mars in Gemini sextiles Neptune in Aries. This can open a strange mix of action and intuition, where a sharp idea or movement begins to connect with a larger spiritual impulse.

Sunday, July 5

  • 3:01 AM: The Pisces Moon trines the Sun in Cancer. This brings a gentler water-field through the overnight hours, connecting feeling, memory, belonging, and emotional recognition.
  • 8:06 AM: Mars in Gemini trines Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. This gives the weekend’s Mars story a deeper continuation, connecting fast movement, language, information, and technical disruption with larger collective systems.

Overnight into Monday

  • 12:21 AM: The Pisces Moon trines Mercury retrograde in Cancer. Overnight, memory finds language. Dreams and old conversations may come through with a clearer emotional thread.
  • 3:08 AM: The Pisces Moon quincunxes Venus in Leo. Tenderness has to adjust to the wish for warmth. The field may feel sensitive around affection and being seen.
  • 5:47 AM: The Sun in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries. Monday begins with a pressure point between protection and independence. The Cancer Sun looks for shelter while Saturn in Aries asks action to take shape.
  • Traditional void note: The Pisces Moon goes void after trining Mercury retrograde at 12:21 AM Monday and stays void until the Moon enters Aries at 10:07 AM Monday.

Yesterday’s Aspects - Moon in Aquarius 7th house

Yesterday was a pretty low key day, but I had a few smaller things I could connect back to the Aquarius Moon moving through my 7th house.

The first one was my video game. I was playing for about an hour and a half and had been grinding, which is basically when you repeat tasks in a game to level up and make things easier later. I love grinding hahahah. It calms me down because it gives my brain something steady to do. Then I entered a cut scene and the game fritzed out and shut off. UGH!!! Losing progress on what had basically become a meditation practice took away the whole meditative part and left me mad that I had to re-grind. This made me think of the Mercury retrograde quincunx to my Venus, where something I was using for comfort suddenly needed emotional re-routing.

I also did laundry yesterday, and for some reason I did the whole thing in one go. Usually I wash it, hang it outside, bring it back in, and then let the folding live on the dining room table for a couple days. Yesterday I washed it, hung it, folded it, and put it away! I must have been on some caffeine current hahahah. With the Moon in Aquarius hitting my Saturn and quincunxing my Jupiter, it seems that one of those boring support tasks got handled before I could drag it out.

The bigger thread was Reddit. Back in March, Reddit took away my ability to upvote or downvote because my alt account shared some subreddits with my main account. I had upvoted a few things twice by accident, and Reddit read it as vote manipulation. At first, that hit my people-pleasing button so hard because upvoting felt like one of my ways of saying I saw you. It has been sitting in my body ever since as this weird social ache, like I lost one of my tiny tools for showing care.

Yesterday something finally clicked around it. The Aquarius Moon sextiling Saturn in Aries in my 9th helped me feel a better side of Saturn in Aries for a moment. Aries acts from the path. It does the thing. It does care through motion instead of needing every signal to prove itself. I feel more comfortable when I can upvote, but my work can hold on its own I think. I can still reply. I can still keep walking the sky.

The Venus in Leo square to my Pluto in Scorpio felt like the deeper root underneath it. Venus in my 1st wants a visible way to show warmth, while Pluto in my 4th pulls up the old fear that connection becomes unsafe when I lose a way to track it. So the upvote thing was my whole body wanting proof that I saw someone and that they knew I saw them.

Saturn in Aries gave me a different answer. The proof can be the work itself. I can let the Arcwalks, the replies, and the Almanac carry the care, even when the little button is gone.

Today’s Aspects - Moon in Aquarius 7th house

  • Global: Jupiter in Leo 1st quincunxes True Node in Pisces 8th.
  • Natal: 20° Moon in Aquarius 7th sextiles my MC in Aries 9th.
  • Natal: 22° Moon in Aquarius 7th squares my Pluto in Scorpio 4th.
  • Global: 23° Moon in Aquarius 7th opposes Venus in Leo 1st.
  • Natal: 25° Moon in Aquarius 7th sextiles my Venus in Sagittarius 5th.
  • Global: 25° Moon in Aquarius 7th quincunxes Mercury Rx in Cancer 12th.
  • Global: Mars applies to Uranus in Gemini 11th overnight.

Edit: Right as I was about to post this, the finished and formatted file got eaten by copy/paste errors and I had to redo the entire Almanac formatting from scratch! UGH! Thanks a lot, Jupiter quincunx North Node!

Today I have my usual Friday lunch with my dad, which fits the Aquarius Moon moving through my 7th house. Most Fridays, we head back toward the bigger city I grew up in because Dad plays volleyball there, and we have better food options than we do farther out of town. He usually gets me some kind of drink while I watch him play or work on an Arcwalk, then we go eat after. With the Moon sextiling my MC in Aries, I see a day where lunch with Dad can sit beside the astrology work I am still carrying.

The hang up is that my dad is Saturn hahahah. He is careful with what he says and what he chooses. He always has a plan, and if he finds out I have one, he can test it until it has a stronger shape. With Saturn in my 7th, I meet Saturn through other people a lot. Since we both have Leo rising, there is also a performance piece between us. The Aquarius Moon opposing Venus in Leo feels like that mirror between Dad across from me and me trying to stay warm in myself.

The Moon square my Pluto in Scorpio feels like the deeper family root underneath it. Dad can support what I love, and he can make a plan around it fast. His Saturn in Sagittarius conjunct my Venus is a clear picture of that. He can help build form around what I love, while the Saturn-Venus piece can make the love feel more structured than playful.

I think today may go well, with one Saturn gate in the middle. The Moon quincunx Mercury retrograde in Cancer may pull in family memory around how I explain myself. Mars applying to Uranus in Gemini in my 11th is also building in the background, so even during Friday Dad lunch, the Arcwalk brain may already be lighting up for the weekend.

Week Ahead

  • Thursday, July 9: Venus enters Virgo. After the Leo Venus field of visibility and response, Venus moves into Virgo and brings attention toward the details that help love function.

Current reply path

I was able to respond to two Arcwalk follow-ups, and I think I have finished those off! Today I plan to work on an Arcwalk or two while I am with my dad and he plays volleyball.

I also plan to post sign-ups later today, sometime this evening after I’m back from lunch with Pop. 🌙

The Arcwalker Almanac - Wednesday, July 1, 2026

Happy July, Arcwalkers!

Today begins with the Capricorn Moon opposing Mercury retrograde in Cancer, pulling the day back onto the Cancer-Capricorn axis: what the body knows and what the mind is trying to explain. After that opposition, the Moon goes void in Capricorn until it enters Aquarius this afternoon, so the middle of the day may feel suspended in a practical-but-in-between field before the tone changes signs.

By afternoon, the Moon enters Aquarius and immediately moves into the early fixed field with Jupiter in Leo and Chiron in Taurus, then hits Mars in Gemini and the outer planet crown. Jupiter also squares Chiron tonight, so the first full day of Jupiter in Leo meets the new Taurus Chiron story. The day may ask what visibility costs and what kind of courage can stay connected to the body.

Key Timings

Opening Window

  • 6:50 AM: The Capricorn Moon opposes Mercury retrograde in Cancer and goes void. This carries the morning into a head-versus-body or memory-versus-task kind of field.

Live Field

  • 6:50 AM to 2:32 PM: The Moon is void in Capricorn after opposing Mercury retrograde. This keeps the middle of the day in a suspended Capricorn field, where practical things may still move, but the emotional thread may feel like it has already reached its last major turn.
  • 2:32 PM: The Moon enters Aquarius, shifting the field from Capricorn maintenance into Aquarius distance and future-facing thought.
  • 3:13 PM: The Aquarius Moon opposes Jupiter in Leo. The new Leo growth story may meet an Aquarius mirror around other community or perspective.
  • 3:19 PM: The Aquarius Moon squares Chiron in Taurus. The early fixed field may bring sensitivity around feeling safe enough to take up space.
  • 7:03 PM: The Aquarius Moon trines Mars in Gemini. This can bring movement back through conversation, ideas, friends, online spaces, or scattered threads that begin connecting.
  • 9:23 PM: Jupiter in Leo squares Chiron in Taurus. This is the main non-lunar aspect of the day, bringing the new Jupiter-in-Leo chapter into contact with the Taurus Chiron story around what feels safe enough to grow.
  • 10:01 PM: The Aquarius Moon trines Uranus in Gemini. The late field may feel more electric or open to a sudden new angle.
  • 11:19 PM: The Aquarius Moon sextiles Neptune in Aries. This can soften the late field into a wider sense of what the day has been trying to show.

Overnight Carryover

  • 12:11 AM Thursday: The Aquarius Moon conjuncts Pluto in Aquarius. The night carries the Aquarius field deeper, with more pattern-sense and a stronger pull toward what is hidden underneath the surface.

Dispositor Chain

Morning chain before the Moon enters Aquarius:

Before Moon enters Aquarius

Pluto in Aquarius → Saturn + Neptune in Aries → Mars + Uranus in Gemini → Sun + Mercury Rx in Cancer [← Venus + Jupiter in Leo ← Chiron in Taurus] → Moon in Capricorn → back to Saturn + Neptune in Aries → Loop.

After the Moon enters Aquarius:

After Moon enters Aquarius

Moon + Pluto in Aquarius → Saturn + Neptune in Aries → Mars + Uranus in Gemini → Sun + Mercury Rx in Cancer [← Venus + Jupiter in Leo ← Chiron in Taurus] → back to Moon in Aquarius → Saturn + Neptune in Aries → Loop.

I tried two styles today: one with a little “step text” arrow path, and one without it. The steps make it easier to show where each planet flows when the chain does not line up perfectly, but they also make the whole thing look kinda ugly, haha!

Chart Tracking

Today’s main tracking ranges are 0° to 5° / 24° to 28°.

Who May Feel Today’s Main Contacts Most:

  • Early fixed placements near 0° to 5°: Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio placements may feel the Jupiter-Chiron square and the Aquarius Moon’s early fixed contacts most directly. Leo holds Jupiter, Taurus holds Chiron, Aquarius receives the Moon, and Scorpio completes the fixed pressure pattern.
  • Early air placements near 0° to 5°: Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra placements may feel the Aquarius Moon trining Mars and Uranus in Gemini as a conversational or future-facing current.
  • Late cardinal placements near 24° to 28°: Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, and Libra placements may feel the Moon opposite Mercury Rx and the Capricorn void Moon most directly. This can bring old conversations or unfinished tasks back into the field.
  • Mercury or Sun ruled charts: Gemini risings, Virgo risings, Leo risings, Mercury profection years, and Sun profection years may feel today’s field more personally.

  1. Did you notice Jupiter entering Leo in your chart yet? Which house did it enter for you? This could be subtle, but I’m curious whether anyone noticed anything.
  2. Did you notice the Capricorn Moon square Saturn in Aries yesterday?
  3. How about Moon quincunx Venus? I’m curious whether anyone noticed an adjustment between what had to be done and what wanted attention.

I had a bad day yesterday, and in order to keep this from becoming an entire book, I'm going to summarize some past info in bullet list form first so you can get a grasp of the background. Then I’ll go into what happened yesterday and bring the astrology in with the story.

  • I have what many people call borderline personality disorder, although inside my own body it feels tangled with OCD-level people pleasing. I have to behave, I have to be good. I have to stay morally okay. If I fall out of line, the old fear says I get put away.
  • Growing up, when my reactions got too large, I was sent to my room to calm down. I place the blame on the culture I was born into and the size of the feelings I came in with, not my parents. My room-time calmed me down because a person eventually runs out of energy and can't scream forever, but it also made my brain too dissociative. I was alone with a swarm in my head, and the swarm made rules to live by, in order to lessen the punishments.
  • My IC is in Libra, so the root of me is always trying to keep the room balanced. Libra's ruler, Venus in Sagittarius in my 5th house, which should be a place of joy and expression, but it is intercepted in Placidus. By sign, it sits apart from the rest of my planets. I can access it on Venus activation days, but it is harder to live there every day.
  • I have Chiron conjunct my Leo Ascendant, with my Sun and Saturn in Aquarius opposing that area. Saturn is strong in Aquarius, but in my night chart it is out of sect. I have a twilight chart so I can go either way but Saturn often shows up as a night Saturn in these cases It has authority, but it can feel harsh to live under. With that opposing my Ascendant and Chiron, being seen can hurt.
  • I started psychiatry and therapy around age 19 or 20. Before that, I had years of feelings with barely any language. Moving away to college helped me realize I had been deprived in certain emotional categories, and that is when I started trying to name the whole thing.
  • Around 2015, I found a medication setup that helped me focus. Before that, I could barely read. I would start a sentence and lose the beginning by the time I reached the end. School was hard because my brain was in alarm, while performance was still expected.
  • My psych appointments are also hard because my Mercury-Neptune conjunction in Capricorn, with Uranus nearby, can scramble what happened afterward. I like having a witness nearby because my brain can change the sequence later. Since this is in my 6th house, even remembering a medical appointment becomes part of the daily tower I have to build.

Yesterday morning, I was at my parents’ house. I usually spend Sunday and Monday nights there. That started years ago because I had two dogs who needed separation time, and the rhythm stayed after that. I told my parents I thought I could handle the appointment on my own. I thought it would be a basic update. I had the meds I needed. I thought I was going in to explain the current system and leave.

The appointment was at 8:30 AM, with the Moon in Capricorn in my 6th house. The Moon had already squared Saturn in Aries in my 9th that morning, so the authority pressure was still active. Capricorn 6th house already puts medication, symptoms, appointments, and daily survival into focus. Aries 9th house Saturn brings the doctor, the rules, the treatment philosophy, the larger authority structure.

This appointment had months of medication history behind it. Last summer when Saturn entered Aries, I started a new medication.

But by November, when I wanted to go back on the medication that had already helped me, since this one wasn't working, he would only let that happen after I came off around three different medications first. So the story turned from trying a new medication into having my whole medication structure taken apart. The one medication I kept asking for was held behind this long chain of conditions.

By the end, he wanted me off my antidepressant too. That is the part that hits the hardest because I have disability for this. Depression, emotional regulation, focus, daily functioning, all of that is part of why I need support in the first place. So it felt like the system meant to help me was cleaning me out while still expecting me to stay calm and easy to manage. Saturn in Aries, everyone.

My most recent appointment before today is part of this story. Venus was conjunct my South Node in Cancer in my 12th house, and my mom was there with me. That was when I finally got the medication back. It was only one piece, at the lowest dose, but it was the piece I had been trying to get back since the medication story started unraveling after the summer trial. Cancer 12th house Venus on the South Node is on key: mother help, private fear, old survival wiring, and the hidden place where I still need someone beside me.

Then yesterday, with the Sun almost conjunct that same South Node point, the story repeated under a harsher light. I went into the appointment thinking the main crisis had passed because I had finally gotten the medication back. I thought I was there to update him on the current setup.

Instead, after the summer medication trial, after November became the point where he kept blocking the return to the medication that helped, after he wanted me off around three other medications, after he even wanted me off my antidepressant, he told me I was being put on a behavior plan.

It felt like the person who had cleaned out my medication structure was now writing down my reaction to being destabilized as a behavior problem. The Venus-South Node appointment brought the medication back through my mom. The Sun-South Node echo brought the same survival story back through the threat of being cut off. With my natal Sun-Saturn conjunction, though a bit wide, I felt that aspect here.

He explained that if the pattern continued, he could eventually end the provider relationship. For me, that hits the abandonment wound that many borderlines face. Even though this psychiatrist relationship has been hard, the threat of being cut off still hit the deepest part of the wiring.

I asked him what he meant before I melted down, and I am proud of that. I stayed with the words for a moment. But he said he hasn't decided yet. When I started boiling over due to all the implications flooding my system, my parents came in. My mom helped figure out what was happening, and my dad was there too as a rock. Later, after the appointment, Todd came in through the phone and helped talk through it. That felt like the Moon sextile my Pluto in Scorpio in the 4th. The family root came in around the old room. The childhood pattern activated, but the door opened.

The Moon squaring my Aries MC fits that reputation terror. My Aries MC wants agency. It wants to be known through my own fire. Yesterday felt like someone else had the pen. Venus in Leo trining my MC was also active, and that felt like the part of me that could still write it and turn the wound into something visible through my own values.

The Moon quincunx Venus in Leo in my 1st felt like the mismatch between my actual self and the patient-file version of me. Venus in Leo wants dignity. Capricorn Moon in the 6th was sitting in the appointment language and the medical frame. That quincunx felt like being seen through a frame that did not match the person inside the body.

The Moon crossing my Uranus, Neptune, and Mercury in Capricorn describes the mental weather of the appointment. Uranus was the shock and the virtual appointment static. Neptune was the blur and dissociation. Mercury was the wording and the way one sentence can become a whole hallway in my head.

The hardest part is that this felt like emotion being treated as behavior. From inside my body, it was fear and old abandonment terror. From the outside, I think my reactions can look bigger because I am tall. I am 5’10, close to 5’11, and I am starting to think people may read my distress through size before they understand the wound. Similar to how human males tend to be targeted due to the fear they can inflict due to size. Inside, I am wailing. Outside, I look scary. That hurts because I am trying to survive the feeling while other people react to the volume of it.

Jupiter entering Leo matters because it is entering my 1st house and beginning a year where visibility gets larger. Me noticing the size-piece of my melt-downs might be part of that. Jupiter entering Leo also walks straight toward my Chiron-Ascendant story. Jupiter says be seen but Chiron says being seen hurts. Yesterday felt like the first roar of that doorway.

The Moon trined my Jupiter in Virgo in the 2nd while Saturn was separating from a quincunx to my Jupiter, and Ceres in Gemini in the 11th was squaring it. Jupiter in Virgo in my 2nd is where support has to become practical. Care has to become meds, food, rides, money, and actual help. Ceres in Gemini in my 11th brought care through conversation and witnesses, but the square made it pressured. Care was present while the need felt exposed.

Mars applying to Uranus in Gemini in my 11th was buzzing through the whole thing too. My mind kept jumping to the future record, the doctor network, the file, the label, and the social consequence. Gemini 11th house Mars-Uranus is the spark in the information web. It is the fear of a story moving faster than my ability to explain myself.

I got through it. I lost a lot of support-medication but I have the one med I needed most. I have my family. I have Todd. I have astrology. But yesterday hurt. A lot.

Today’s Aspects - Moon in Capricorn 6th house into Aquarius 7th house

  • Global: 26° Moon in Cap 6th opposes Merc Rx in Cancer 12th
  • Global: Moon in Aquarius 7th opposes Jupiter in Leo 1st.
  • Global: Moon in Aquarius 7th squares Chiron in Taurus 10th.
  • Natal: Moon in Aquarius 7th quincunxes my Moon in Virgo 2nd.
  • Natal: Moon in Aquarius 7th conjuncts my Sun in Aquarius 7th.
  • Natal: Chiron in Taurus 10th trines my Moon in Virgo 2nd.
  • Global: Moon in Aquarius 7th trines Mars in Gemini 11th.
  • Global: Jupiter in Leo 1st squares Chiron in Taurus 10th.
  • Global: Moon in Aquarius 7th trines Uranus in Gemini 11th.
  • Global: Moon in Aquarius 7th sextiles Neptune in Aries 9th.

For today, I think I am moving through the aftershock of yesterday.

The Moon in Capricorn in my 6th house opposing Mercury Rx in Cancer in my 12th, so the morning feels like my body trying to move through yesterday while my mind keeps replaying the hidden parts. The things said during the appointment keep ricocheting around my head, and I can feel my brain wanting to build a whole tower around every phrase. Since this is still the 6th/12th axis, I think today is about keeping the day simple enough for my nervous system to come back down.

Once the Moon enters Aquarius in my 7th, it starts hitting the people axis again. That makes the day feel sensitive around being seen and being known through other people’s eyes. Jupiter in my 1st is opening a bigger visibility year, but Chiron in the 10th keeps pressing on reputation pain.

The Moon quincunx my Virgo Moon in the 2nd makes my body feel like it needs a smaller day. My Virgo Moon wants something practical to hold onto, but Aquarius Moon in the 7th is more detached, more outside of my body. So I am probably going to focus on low-pressure things like video games, maybe some Arcwalks if they come naturally.

The Moon conjunct my Sun in Aquarius in the 7th may bring me back to myself through other people, even if that just means being near Todd, my parents, the dogs, or whoever feels easy. I am tired, and today feels like a recovery day. So I am letting the Aquarius Moon do what it can do best: create a little distance and let me exist beside the story instead of inside the worst part of it.

Week Ahead

  • Thursday, July 2: The Moon stays in Aquarius all day. This keeps the field focused on future-thinking and the wider social web.
  • Friday, July 3: The Moon stays in Aquarius through most of the day, then heads toward Pisces overnight.

[June 29, 2026] The Arcwalker Almanac

Notes Before We Begin

Format note: I am trying a shorter version of the Almanac today. The older version helped me with the rhythm of daily sky tracking, but I need a container that can keep moving with real life. So this version will focus on the main sky, key timings, chart tracking, and cap it off with the Walking With section.

Timing note: All times in this almanac are listed in Central Time. For quick conversion: Pacific subtract 2 hours, Eastern add 1 hour, UTC add 5 hours, London add 6 hours, Dubai add 9 hours, Tokyo add 14 hours, and Sydney add 15 hours.

Timezone note: The daily field may land a little differently depending on where you are. If you would like a quick breakdown for your timezone, please leave a comment with your timezone or general location, and I can convert the main timing points for you. [Example]

The Arcwalker Almanac - Monday, June 29, 2026

Today brings the Mercury retrograde station in Cancer and the Full Moon in Capricorn, so the Cancer-Capricorn axis is lighting up. Cancer pulls attention toward private feeling and memory, while Capricorn asks what can be carried in real life. Mercury turns us back toward what has been stirring since June 12, while the Capricorn Full Moon brings something into clearer form by evening.

Key Timings

Opening Window

  • 2:18 AM: The Moon enters Capricorn, moving the field into structure and practical reality.
  • 2:56 AM: The Capricorn Moon trines Chiron in Taurus. This gives the early morning a steadier healing thread, especially around what feels safe enough to hold.
  • 3:03 AM: The Capricorn Moon quincunxes Mars in Gemini. The early morning may bring a mismatch between the need for steadiness and the urge to react or say something quickly.

Live Field

  • 9:39 AM: The Capricorn Moon quincunxes Uranus in Gemini. The morning may feel restless or mentally jumpy, with plans needing adjustment.
  • 11:11 AM: The Capricorn Moon squares Neptune in Aries, so the late morning may feel symbolic or harder to sort.
  • 12:36 PM: Mercury stations retrograde at 26° Cancer. This begins the active retrograde period, which lasts until July 23.
  • 6:56 PM: The Full Moon in Capricorn is exact at 8° Capricorn. This lights up the Cancer-Capricorn axis around emotional safety and what has to be carried.
  • 11:21 PM: Mars in Gemini squares the True Node in Pisces, words and nervous-system sparks may feel more charged throughout the day.

Overnight Carryover

  • 12:52 AM Tuesday: Jupiter enters Leo, opening a new chapter around visibility and the desire to be seen more fully.
  • 6:51 AM Tuesday: The Capricorn Moon squares Saturn in Aries, carrying the Full Moon field into a more serious or reality-checking morning.

Aquarius Pluto → Aries Saturn + Neptune → Gemini Mars + Uranus → Cancer Mercury Rx + Sun + Jupiter → Capricorn Moon → back to Aries Saturn + Neptune

Side current: Taurus Chiron → Leo Venus → Cancer Sun → Capricorn Moon → back to Aries Saturn + Neptune

Overnight note: After Jupiter enters Leo, Jupiter joins Venus in the Leo current and reports to the Cancer Sun.

Chart Tracking

Today’s main tracking ranges are 0° to 4° / 6° to 10° / 24° to 28°.

Who May Feel Today’s Main Contacts Most:

  • Cardinal placements near 6° to 10°: Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, and Libra placements may feel the Full Moon most directly. Capricorn hosts the Moon, Cancer receives the opposition, and Aries or Libra may feel the pressure through squares.
  • Late Cardinal placements near 24° to 28°: Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, and Libra placements may feel Mercury stationing retrograde at 26° Cancer. This can bring emotional language, memory, timing, or old conversations back into focus.
  • Early Earth placements near 0° to 4°: Capricorn and Taurus placements may feel the Moon’s early contacts, including the Moon trine Chiron. This can bring a steadier thread around the body, worth, safety, or what feels possible to hold.
  • Early Gemini placements near 0° to 4°: The Moon quincunxes Mars and Uranus in Gemini, while Mars squares the True Node later tonight. This can bring restlessness or a need to adjust the plan.
  • Early Aries or Pisces placements near 0° to 4°: Aries placements may feel the Moon-Neptune square, while Pisces placements may feel Mars square the True Node. This can make the day feel more symbolic or harder to sort.
  • Late Cancer and early Leo placements: Jupiter changes signs overnight, so something that has been growing privately may begin moving toward a more visible chapter.
  • Mercury or Moon ruled charts: Gemini risings, Virgo risings, Cancer risings, Mercury profection years, and Moon profection years may feel today’s field more personally.

Whole Sign Quick Arcasts

Format note: I am changing this section too. The older Arcasts were already written more like house math than full daily stories, but writing all twelve still took a lot of time. Questions

Since I have not posted an Almanac for about a week, let’s use today’s questions to focus on what is active now and what is coming into view.

  1. Do you have anything near 26° Cancer in your chart, or does that degree contact any of your planets, angles, or points by aspect? If so, what have you been noticing?
  2. Check 8° Capricorn in your chart. Does the Full Moon land near one of your planets, angles, or points by aspect? How is this lunation feeling so far?

Yesterday's Aspects - Moon in Sagittarius 5th house

  • Global: 14° Moon in Sagittarius 5th trined 14° Saturn in Aries 9th.
  • Global: 29° Mars in Taurus 10th sextiled 29° Jupiter in Cancer 12th.
  • Global:  Mars entered Gemini 11th.
  • Global: 17° Moon in Sagittarius 5th trined 17° Venus in Leo 1st.
  • Natal: 20° Moon in Sagittarius 5th trined my 20° MC in Aries 9th.
  • Global: 26° Moon in Sagittarius 5th quincunxed 26° Mercury in Cancer 12th.
  • Natal: 17° Venus in Leo 1st quincunxed my 17° Mercury in Capricorn 6th.
  • Natal: 25° Moon in Sagittarius 5th conjuncted my 25° Venus in Sagittarius 5th.

Yesterday feels like a simple day, but it still connects pretty easily to the transits. The main thing is that Todd and I started a new walking system with the dogs because Rogan is having a harder time with walks. She has a throat and breathing issue we are looking into, and longer walks are harder for her right now.

That feels connected to Mars leaving Taurus and entering Gemini. Mars at the end of Taurus in my 10th feels like the old fixed way we were doing the walk, where the routine had one main shape. Then Mars enters Gemini in my 11th, and the system splits into two paths. One of us turns around with Rogan for the shorter walk, while the other keeps going with Rueger for the longer walk. It becomes more flexible and more about figuring out what works for everyone involved.

The Moon trine Saturn in Aries connects with the Vietnam War documentary I finished with my dad. The Sagittarius Moon in the 5th fits the documentary part because I love learning through stories. Saturn in Aries in the 9th fits the war history and the harder subject matter. Dad is a big war buff and knows a lot about this stuff, so it worked well as something we could watch together.

The Moon trining my MC in Aries also fits the Mercury retrograde post. I made the Mercury stationing retrograde in Cancer post and talked some about how I plan to do almanacs going forward. I am leaning toward weekday almanacs, and some days may get skipped depending on what is going on. That feels like my public work getting reshaped into something I can actually keep doing.

The Moon quincunx Mercury in Cancer in the 12th fits that too. There is an adjustment between wanting to post, explain, and keep up with the almanacs, while also needing a more protected rhythm. Mercury stationing retrograde in Cancer feels like it is already making me rethink the system from the inside.

The Moon conjunct my Venus in Sagittarius in the 5th fits the documentary mood too. I have been watching a lot of documentaries lately, especially cult ones, and I think that has been showing up since the Sun entered my Cancer 12th house. I am drawn into hidden stories right now. Cult documentaries especially feel Cancer 12th house because they get into belonging, fear, family patterns, and private worlds people get pulled into.

Today’s Aspects - Moon in Sag 5th house into Capricorn 6th house

  • Global:  Moon in Capricorn 6th trines  Chiron in Taurus 10th.
  • Global:  Moon in Capricorn 6th quincunxes  Mars in Gemini 11th.
  • Natal:  Moon in Capricorn 6th trines my  Moon in Virgo 2nd.
  • Global:  Moon in Capricorn 6th quincunxes  Uranus in Gemini 11th.
  • Global:  Moon in Capricorn 6th squares  Neptune in Aries 9th.
  • Natal:  Moon in Capricorn 6th quincunxes my  ASC-Chiron in Leo 1st.
  • Global: 26° Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer 12th.
  • Global:  Sun in Cancer 12th opposes  Moon in Capricorn 6th.
  • Natal:  Sun in Cancer 12th quincunxes my  Saturn in Aquarius 7th.
  • Natal:  Moon in Capricorn 6th conjuncts my  Mars-NN in Capricorn 6th.

This morning I am feeling irritable, and that fits the sky pretty well. Mars is in Gemini now, and it is also bumping up against the nodes, so there can be more nervous system friction and frustration around plans or people. The Moon in Capricorn quincunx Mars in Gemini also fits that feeling of having to adjust to something while already feeling keyed up.

The main event today is that I have a sleep study later. My psychiatrist thinks a lot of my mental health issues come from bad sleep patterns, even though I usually get 7 to 8 hours a night and I feel awake during the day. This has been an ongoing struggle with him because he has been pushing to get me off medication since I transferred to him years ago. I have a documented mental disability, so it gets frustrating when the focus keeps going toward things that have not helped me.

At the same time, I am open to doing the sleep study. Maybe there is something happening while I sleep that I cannot see from the inside. Maybe my breathing is part of it. The 6th house Capricorn Moon makes sense for a health appointment that is more practical than emotional. It is about the body, routine, testing, and having to deal with the medical side of life.

The Moon trine Chiron in Taurus in the 10th fits the public or professional part of this too. A health issue is being brought into a formal setting. There is a wound around being handled by authority figures, and today that gets touched through the appointment itself. Chiron in the 10th can feel like having to bring pain into a professional room and hope it gets read correctly.

The Moon trine my Moon in Virgo in the 2nd also fits the body check-in piece. Virgo Moon is already sensitive to routines and whether something is functioning right. The Capricorn Moon supports that part of me by making the day more focused on practical information. Even if I am annoyed, part of me can still see the usefulness of gathering data.

The Moon square Neptune in Aries also fits the part where things feel blurry or aggravating around belief and perspective. It is hard when someone else’s theory about what is wrong starts taking over the room. Neptune in the 9th can bring confusion around the larger explanation, especially when someone is pushing a version of the story that does not feel accurate to my life.

Mercury stationing retrograde in Cancer in the 12th is a huge part of this. A sleep study is literally a 12th house Mercury event. It is about sleep, hidden patterns, medical information, and something being reviewed from behind the scenes. Mercury stationing in the 12th can also bring up old mental health conversations and the feeling of having to revisit the same issue again.

The Sun in Cancer in the 12th opposing the Moon in Capricorn in the 6th puts the whole day on the 12th and 6th house axis. Sleep and hidden patterns are on one side. Health routines and medical appointments are on the other. This also lands right across my nodal axis, with the Moon near my North Node in Capricorn and the Sun near my South Node in Cancer. So the Full Moon is lighting up that old 12th house pull while also pointing me toward the 6th house work of showing up and dealing with the practical side of my health.

Week Ahead

  • Tuesday, June 30: Jupiter enters Leo at 12:52 AM. This opens a new chapter around confidence and being seen more fully. Something that has been growing privately may begin moving toward a more visible field.
  • Wednesday, July 1: The Moon enters Aquarius at 2:32 PM. Jupiter squares Chiron at 9:24 PM, bringing the new Leo chapter into contact with Taurus themes of worth and what it takes to feel secure enough to take up space.
  • Saturday, July 4: Mars conjoins Uranus in Gemini at 1:07 AM. The Moon enters Pisces at 1:30 AM. Mars sextiles Neptune in Aries at 7:44 PM. This is the biggest Mars day of the week. The field may feel fast, electric, restless, inspired, disruptive, symbolic, or hard to keep still.
  • Sunday, July 5: Mars in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius at 8:06 AM. This gives the weekend a sharper current for research or cutting through something tangled. After the Mars-Uranus spark, Mars-Pluto can give the mind a more focused edge.

The Arcwalker Almanac - Tuesday, June 30, 2026

Today brings Jupiter into Leo while the Moon continues through Capricorn after yesterday’s Full Moon. The field is still carrying the Cancer-Capricorn axis, but Jupiter’s sign change opens a new fire current around visibility, courage, identity, and what wants to be seen more fully.

The Capricorn Moon keeps the day practical and body-aware, especially as it squares Saturn in Aries early in the morning. By evening, the Moon quincunxes Venus in Leo, so the day may ask for an adjustment between responsibility and the desire to feel alive or creatively visible.

Key Timings

Live Field

  • 12:52 AM: Jupiter enters Leo, opening a new chapter around visibility, confidence, and the desire to be seen more fully.
  • 6:51 AM: The Capricorn Moon squares Saturn in Aries, carrying yesterday’s Full Moon field into a more serious or reality-checking morning.
  • 6:56 PM: The Capricorn Moon quincunxes Venus in Leo. The evening may bring an adjustment between duty and desire, or between what has to be done and what wants to feel warm, expressive, or alive.

Overnight Carryover

  • Wednesday, 6:51 AM: The Capricorn Moon opposes Mercury retrograde in Cancer. This carries the day into a head-versus-body or memory-versus-task kind of morning.

Dispositor Chain

I really like making these hahaha!

Chart Tracking

Today’s main tracking ranges are 0° to 4° / 12° to 22°.

Who May Feel Today’s Main Contacts Most:

  • Early Leo placements near 0° to 4°: Jupiter enters Leo, so early Leo placements may begin feeling a new growth current around visibility and taking up more space.
  • Early fixed placements near 0° to 4°: Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio placements may feel Jupiter’s sign change more directly. Leo hosts Jupiter, Aquarius receives the opposition, and Taurus or Scorpio may feel the pressure through squares.
  • Cardinal placements near 12° to 16°: Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, and Libra placements may feel the Moon square Saturn most directly. Capricorn hosts the Moon, Aries hosts Saturn, and Cancer or Libra may feel the pressure through opposition or square.
  • Leo and Capricorn placements near 18° to 22° may feel the Moon-Venus quincunx most directly. Leo holds Venus, Capricorn holds the Moon, so this can highlight the adjustment between desire and what the body can actually carry.
  • Mercury or Sun ruled charts: Gemini risings, Virgo risings, Leo risings, Mercury profection years, and Sun profection years may feel today’s field more personally.

Questions

I'm going to bring back yesterday's questions and bring in one for today.

  1. Do you have anything near 26° Cancer in your chart, or did that degree contact any of your planets, angles, or points by aspect yesterday? If so, what have you been noticing? This is where Mercury stationed retrograde.
  2. Check 8° Capricorn in your chart. Did the Full Moon land near one of your planets, angles, or points by aspect? How has this lunation been feeling so far?
  3. Check 0° Leo in your chart. What house is Jupiter entering, and what kind of visibility or growth story might be beginning there?

  • Natal:  Sun in Cancer 12th quincunxes my  Saturn in Aquarius 7th.
  • Natal:  Moon in Capricorn 6th conjuncts my  Mars-NN in Capricorn 6th.

The main event was meeting with a doctor to get a sleep study started. Sleep apnea runs through my family, and my psychiatrist wants me to check whether treating it could help with my depression, since it has helped other people in my family in other ways.

That felt like the 6th house Moon in Capricorn trining my natal Moon in Virgo in the 2nd house. The body became something I could understand through measurement and language, instead of only fear. It also reminded me of the day the transiting Moon was actually on my natal Moon, when we took Rogan and Rueger to the vet on June 19. You can read more about that in this post’s Yesterday’s Walking With section.

That day, the vet was measuring Rueger’s lumps and using dictation to turn the body into medical language. I remember noticing how similar that felt to the sleep doctor I just experienced, just through a different field. Yesterday’s Full Moon helped me recognize the lunar echo between the two days. When the Moon was on my natal Virgo Moon, the body-language came through the dogs and the vet. When the Capricorn Full Moon trined my natal Virgo Moon, the same pattern returned through my own body and the practical steps toward the sleep study. The trine made the body-language feel familiar enough to follow.

The the Moon quincunx my ASC-Chiron in Leo pulled it through my body and identity and the Sun quincunxed my natal Saturn in Aquarius in the 7th house yesterday, which fit the discomfort of being evaluated by another person. I do not always like sitting across from someone in an authority role and trying to explain myself. But this time the Saturn piece felt more workable because he structured the conversation well.

The Moon conjunct my Mars-North Node in Capricorn in the 6th house feels like the actual activation point. It was a health appointment, but it was also a necessary step to take towards my mental-health-daily-life-path.

The Moon also quincunxed Mars in Gemini and Uranus in Gemini in my 11th house, which fit some of the mental scattering and social-information bits of the day. On the way to and from the doctor, my mom and I listened to a political-astrological-tarot podcast together. It was perfect for the Gemini field because we kept pausing it to translate the parts we each understood better. When I had political questions, I asked her. When the astrology or tarot parts came up, she asked me. So the car ride became a shared Gemini processing space, where each of us had a different key to the same conversation!

This felt really cool because I often associate Gemini with my mom. She has a 7th house Gemini Moon, and she processes emotion by interacting with information, people, questions, and the world around her. So the Moon’s quincunxes to Mars and Uranus in Gemini in my 11th house showed up as two people helping each other understand the bigger field.

Today’s Aspects - Moon in Capricorn 6th house

  • Global: Jupiter enters Leo 1st.
  • Natal: Mars in Gemini 11th trines my Sun in Aqua 7th.
  • Natal: 14° Moon trines my Jupiter in Virgo 2nd.
  • Natal: 14° Moon conjuncts my Uranus in Cap 6th.
  • Global: 14° Moon in Cap 6th squares Saturn in Aries 9th.
  • Natal: 17° Moon conjuncts my Neptune in Cap 6th.
  • Natal: 17° Moon conjuncts my Mercury in Cap 6th.
  • Global: 20° Moon in Cap 6th quincunxes Venus in Leo 1st.
  • Natal: 20° Moon squares my MC in Aries 9th.
  • Natal: 20° Venus in Leo 1st trines my MC in Aries 9th.
  • Natal: 22° Moon sextiles my Pluto in Scorpio 4th.

Today starts with a psych appointment almost right after I post this, which fits the Capricorn Moon staying in my 6th house. It should be a simpler appointment than the ones where I am trying to wrangle a new med or convince him of what I need. This one is more about updating him, but it's a virtual visit and those tend to stress me out. Even a tiny delay in the video can throw me off because I start trying to track too much at once.

That feels like the Moon moving through my Capricorn 6th house and touching my natal Uranus, Neptune, and Mercury there. The appointment is practical and routine-based, but the way it happens through a screen can scramble the timing. Moon-Uranus brings the tech layer, Moon-Neptune brings the weird blur of video delay, and Moon-Mercury makes the whole thing run through response time and whether I can keep myself organized while talking.

The Moon square Saturn in Aries in my 9th also fits the pressure I can feel around doctors and authority. This aspect activates the part of me that wants the conversation to land correctly. The 9th house Saturn piece makes me aware of the larger medical framework around the appointment, while the 6th house Moon keeps bringing it back to the practical update I actually need to give.

After that, my parents want to go trailer shopping, which feels like the day opening into a much more fun version of the same practical-body-field. My parents are big campers, and the trailer they have used for years has been breaking down more and more. So we are going to look at possible new ones, and I want to go just because I love tiny self-contained spaces.

I can see this through the Moon trining my natal Jupiter in Virgo in the 2nd house. I love seeing a whole living system miniaturized into something useful. The layouts, storage choices, surfaces, brands, and little design differences all make my Virgo Moon and Jupiter happy because everything has a place and a function. It is the pleasure of seeing life organized into a smaller container.

Mars in Gemini in my 11th trining my Aquarius Sun in the 7th also fits being with other people while learning through conversation. I do not know all the technical details of campers, so I am hoping to learn while I am with them. The Gemini 11th house part likes the information exchange, the questions, the comparing models, and the social field of walking through different options together.

Then Venus in Leo trining my MC gives the day a little brighter public-facing current. It makes sense that after posting the almanac, handling the virtual appointment, and going out with my parents, I would still be moving through a visible Leo/Aries fire thread. There is a small adventure feeling in it, even if the actual activity is looking at trailers. Maybe a good time for Arcwalks!

The Moon sextile my Pluto in Scorpio in the 4th pulls the whole thing back into family and home. Trailer shopping is technically about my parents buying something practical, but it is also about the way a small living space can hold a whole emotional world.

  • Next Monday, July 6: The Sun squares Saturn in Aries at 5:47 AM while the Moon enters Aries at 10:07 AM shortly after. Monday carries the Mars-Uranus weekend into a more immediate Aries field, where the charge may want motion or a clear place to go.

Current reply path

I’ve been a little slower with Arcwalks this week because I’ve been working on a few at the same time. I think Mars being in Gemini is showing up here. My mind keeps branching into multiple charts at once, so the readings are still moving, just in a more scattered, multi-threaded way than usual. I’ll still complete them all, I just wanted to explain why the pace has been a little different.

[June 29 - July 23] Mercury Stations Retrograde in Cancer

Helpful Links

Mercury Retrograde in Cancer

  • Pre-Shadow Began: June 12 - Cancer 16°
  • Retrograde Station: June 29 - Cancer 26°
  • Direct Station: July 23 - Cancer 16°
  • Post-Shadow Ends: August 6 - Cancer 26°

Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer on June 29, turning the page back to what has been stirring since June 12. From tomorrow through July 23, Mercury retraces the degrees between Cancer 26° and 16°, bringing old conversations, memories, family patterns, emotional responses, and private thoughts back into view.

Cancer is a sign of memory, protection, belonging, and emotional history. Mercury here asks where the thought came from, what feeling shaped it, and what part of us learned to speak that way.

Lead-In

The story begins before the retrograde itself. Venus and Jupiter met at Cancer 25° on June 9, close to the degree where Mercury later turns backward. That gives the late Cancer area a softer lead-in. Something may have opened, grown, softened, or revealed its emotional value before Mercury returned to review it.

Mercury entered its shadow on June 12 at Cancer 16°, the same day Uranus squared the nodes from Gemini to Pisces and Virgo. Mercury began moving through Cancer’s memory field while Uranus pressed on the nodal axis, stirring sudden changes or realizations around the path forward and the habits being outgrown.

Station Window

Mercury Retrograde Station Chart

On June 29, Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer while the Full Moon in Capricorn lights up the opposite side of the sky. Cancer and Capricorn bring up the axis between private feeling and public responsibility, the place we come from and the structure we are expected to hold.

That same station window also brings Mars square the nodes and Jupiter entering Leo. Mars square the nodes can make the moment feel reactive or fated, like something is pushing at a crossroads. Jupiter entering Leo opens a fire-sign chapter right as Mercury turns back into Cancer’s water. The sky pulls us into memory while beginning to open a field of visibility and creative expression.

Early July

Mars meets Uranus in Gemini, which can bring sudden words, changes of plan, nervous-system sparks, interruptions, or realizations that come in fast. Then Neptune stations retrograde in Aries on July 7, adding another turning point to the outer-planet pattern building later in the month.

A few days after that, Venus meets the South Node in Virgo, bringing release around what has been over-managed or held together through habit. This gives the retrograde more nodal texture. It is emotional, mental, relational, bodily, and practical.

Cazimi and New Moon

Mercury Cazimi Chart

The heart of the cycle comes around July 12 to July 14, when Mercury meets the Sun at Cancer 20° and the Cancer New Moon follows near the same part of the sign. This looks like the center of the story. Whatever began stirring in the shadow may become clearer here, especially around the emotional language underneath the surface.

Cradle Pattern

By mid-July, a Fire-Air Cradle forms between Jupiter in Leo, Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius. That pattern brings a collective backdrop into the Mercury retrograde story. Cancer pulls us inward toward memory and protection, while the Fire-Air sky opens movement around identity, communication, creativity, community, and future direction.

After Mercury Turns Direct

Mercury stations direct on July 23 at Cancer 16°, returning to the same degree where the shadow began. The retrograde ends there, while the wider pattern keeps unfolding. Saturn stations retrograde in Aries on July 26, and the nodes shift into Aquarius and Leo around July 26/27. Even after Mercury turns direct, the sky is still changing shape around the story.

Why This Retrograde Carries Weight

It begins with Venus and Jupiter already having opened the late Cancer field, enters shadow under Uranus square the nodes, stations with a Full Moon, Mars square the nodes, and Jupiter changing signs, then moves through Mars-Uranus disruption, Neptune stationing retrograde, Venus-South Node release, the Mercury cazimi, the Cancer New Moon, and the mid-July Cradle. Mercury is the thread, but the whole sky is pulling on it.

Impact on Your Chart

Mercury Retrograde Impact Chart

This Mercury retrograde’s main tracking range is 16° to 26° Cancer.

Who May Feel This Mercury Retrograde Most

  • Cancer risings - Mercury retrogrades through your 1st house, so this may feel personal and tied to how you name yourself, your needs, your reactions, or your emotional reality.
  • Mercury-ruled years - If you are in a Gemini or Virgo profection year, this retrograde may stand out more because Mercury is carrying the year.
  • Cancer placements near 16° to 26° - Mercury moves back and forth over these placements directly. This can bring a review of memory, family patterns, emotional language, protection, belonging, or something that has been living closer to the body than the mind.
  • Cardinal placements near 16° to 26° - Planets or angles in Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra may feel the retrograde most directly. Cancer receives Mercury, Capricorn receives the opposition, while Aries and Libra receive the squares.
  • Water placements near 16° to 26° - Planets or angles in Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces may feel this through the water signs. Cancer receives Mercury directly, while Scorpio and Pisces receive trines that may make the review more emotional or easier to follow inward.
  • Taurus and Virgo placements near 16° to 26° - Planets or angles in Taurus or Virgo may feel this through practical or relational adjustments. Taurus and Virgo receive sextiles.
  • Placements near 20° to 22° of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra - This range may stand out around the Mercury cazimi on July 12 and the Cancer New Moon on July 14. This looks like the center of the retrograde story.

My Whole Sign Chart

Chart ruler: Sun, Leo Rising
Profection ruler: Mercury, Gemini 11th House
Current Solar Return ruler: Venus, Libra rising, lands in my 3rd house

For my chart, Mercury retrogrades through Cancer in my 12th house, while opposing my Capricorn 6th house cluster. So this retrograde moves through the 12th/6th house axis for me, with Mercury in Cancer pulling on the hidden material underneath the routine.

Before the Station: Mercury in Cancer

  • Natal: 17° Merc opposes my 17° Nep in Cap 6th on July 19 at 8:04 PM.

When Mercury entered Cancer on June 1, I started the Daily Arcwalker Almanac.

That timing feels important now. Mercury entered Cancer in my 12th house, and I began a daily writing practice that had to be built partly behind the scenes. I had about a week of Almanacs written in advance, so the structure was working. I would prepare the main sections ahead of time, then finish the Walking With section on the day itself, once I could see how the sky was showing up in real life.

At first, I loved doing it. The Almanac gave me a way to keep daily contact with the sky, the subreddit, and my own chart. Mercury in Cancer was moving through my 12th house, while opposing my Capricorn 6th house planets, so the practice itself became a 12th/6th house story. The hidden room of preparation was speaking to the daily work, routine, health, chart tracking, and writing system.

The first stretch already showed that clearly. Mercury in Cancer opposed my Mars and North Node in Capricorn, then opposed my Uranus, Neptune, and Mercury in the same 6th house area. During that time, the Almanac was becoming a living system. I was writing ahead, checking charts, reopening Arcwalks, watching the community field wake up again, and trying to figure out how to hold the work in a way my body could actually keep doing.

On June 15, one of my dogs had to be put to sleep. You can read more about that in the Walking With section here: [link]

I hate that this became part of the story, but I can see it written clearly in the sky. Mercury’s pre-shadow was moving through my 12th house and opposing my 6th house planets, while Uranus was still separating from its square to the nodes. The 12th house held the grief and retreat. The 6th house held the daily care, health, pets, and routines. The 11th house held the Almanac and the community space. The 8th house held the loss. It all landed in the same field.

After that, I still had about a week of Almanacs ready to post. I was able to keep going for a little while because the structure had already been built. But once those prepared posts caught up with me around June 22, I stopped. The part I had been doing ahead of time was gone, and I did not have the same capacity to rebuild the full version while grieving.

This is where Mercury retrograde makes its entrance.

Starting tomorrow, I plan to bring the Daily Almanac back in a much shorter form. I am using this Mercury retrograde window to revise the format instead of trying to force the old version to keep working. That feels like a good use of Mercury retrograde: seeing where the system broke down and rebuilding it in a way that can last longer.

For me, this is happening through Mercury in Cancer in my 12th house, opposite my Capricorn 6th house planets. I am trying to find a better rest-work pattern. I want the Almanacs to continue, but I also need them to fit inside real life, grief, energy, care, and the limits of a daily practice.

By the time Mercury stations direct, I hope to have a clearer version of what the Almanac wants to become. The retrograde is giving me a chance to return to the practice, shorten the container, and see whether this new version can keep moving even when life becomes harder.

Current reply path

I had great hopes for this Arcwalk cycle, but the past couple weeks changed the pace of things more than I expected. I am sorry it has taken me longer to move through the current walks. I do still plan to post another sign-up this Friday. I should finish more before then, so I can open new slots then.

Full Moon Transit on Natal Node

So, tomorrow's Full Moon in Capricorn will conjunct my natal SN in the 8th house by like 0°35" orb. A natal activation like this is rare for me and the last time it happened was in 2023, but I honestly don't recall anything significant. Should the 'narrative' of the transit only be drawn back to the last New Moon transit or back to the last time there was a New Moon transit conjunction to my SN?

Seeing another major shift, Zero idea of its destination

After countless amounts of feeling something before it really happens, I have finally became the actual owner of this prototype. Before it was just connected with silly feelings that became true later on. Now I am actually seeing it constantly in my dreams and imaginations that its exhausting and I have zero idea where its heading to.

Right after this peak realization point, I remembered I was closer to my moon progression. So I checked it and turns out I am just 2 weeks away from my Scorpio moon progression.

PS: I am as clueless as anyone reading this.

Which components would you look at in a chart to find someone's purpose?

Here's what I am looking at:

Sun - core identity

MC - public role

North Node - finding balance in life

South Node - where they've already built balance, or comes easy to them

Would you do this during a Mercury Retrograde?

Hello!

I have felt a growing desire to finally tackle the task of sorting reassessing and cataloging my digital photos. I was going to be scheduling that soon as a several weeks-long project, however, I then noticed Mercury going retrograde on the 29th!

I’m still learning the themes of a Mercury retrograde in a real-felt sense and I wanted to ask you, the community, if you feel like I should do that during this time or if should I wait until after it stations direct?

I ask because I know that the themes of retrograde can be a reassessing and recalibration, but also there’s technological things that go along with it that can cause problems.

With Mercury, going retrograde in Cancer I feel like the feelings of nostalgia, home and family could be really good thematic timing for me to look through and edit and back up my photos properly, but of course now I’m questioning the timing. 😅

Thank you!

My boyfriend was rejected after a job interview. I can’t tell from his chart as to why.

My boyfriend chart has the most confusing chart for me. I can never predict anything in his chart 😂

He had a job interview last week and today he was told he did not get the job. Im trying to find indications as to what that might be but not really finding anything!!!!

He started his last jobs during Pluto retrogrades and I find that fascinating.

22nd of July 2024
2nd of June 2025

So here’s what I was looking at:

- transiting Mercury (communication from recruiter) but nothing clicks when looking at it.

- his Saturn and transit because it is the ruler of his MC.
