My neighbor is old and cleaning out a bunch of things and asked me to help him sell this online. YouTube videos seem to confirm they are real, but Gemini says no way, citing reasons like the shrink wrap seal existing at all as reasons they are fake. However, a lot of Geminis info seemed to conflict with other info online. I need an expert!

Would love to hear what you think. Is it still true that the headband is not removable on any fakes? Apple shows valid serial with warranty. No Box or receipt :(

I bought these AirPods new from a seller on Facebook Marketplace. The seller has a trustworthy-looking profile with good history, but I still want to make sure they’re genuine.
I’ve checked everything I could on my iPhone, and so far they seem to be authentic. However, this is my first time using AirPods, so I’m not sure what else I should check.
Can anyone help me verify if they’re real?

What caught my eye was how cheap they are compared to new, R900 ( US$55)

5 times cheaper than new, with no faults listed.

Can anyone tell me how I'd get my money back in this situation if the seller refuses or blocks me. Is what the seller said true about reselling? I don't think it is. I'm pretty sure these are fake, I was dumb and tried to get a cheap pair on depop at the advice of my friend who got hers on there. But the airpods literally broke when I tried to replace the tip and were super hard to get the extras out of the pack as well. I looked some things up and they said that was a sign of it being fake and the (S)Serial as well. I think the seller just blocked me a bit after I asked for a refund today so that's probably a sign too. I wouldn't even care if they were fake since they were cheap if they didn't immediately break because they worked fine other than that. (All my pictures)
