Hi everyone,

I just got these Airpod Pro 3's from eBay, I checked the serial number before buying and seemed legit but now I have them I'm not sure.

They made a dinging noise when first opened, can't see online if this is what is meant to happen.

They connected to my phone fine, can be seen in find my and have the right image on the sound bar. However when changing the ear tips one of the cases came open and it didn't seem like that should happen.

Could you help me determine if these are real or fakes please?

Edited to add: it also came with a receipt but it has personal info on there (could also be fake), I have added a photo of the receipt with the info redacted in the comments.

Edit2: thank you for your help, they are the way back to seller now via eBay.

The seller is saying he hasn’t opened the box yet, is it normal to show this on the coverage website on unopened products?

I’m not sure if it is fake or genuine? Could the serial number and the warranty be fake?

As for the receipt, I did check with the store and they confirmed the legitimacy of the receipt.

Hey everyone, I really need help figuring this out because I’m confused.

I bought these AirPods recently from Subito and at first they seem completely legit:
iPhone pop-up appears when I open them
I can switch between Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode
All the normal AirPods settings show up on my phone
They even show up in Find My (not precision finding)

But something feels off:
The microphone quality is really bad on calls
The case makes a strange noise when charging wirelessly

I checked the serial number and it even shows up as valid with warranty on Apple’s website, so I don’t understand what’s going on.

I can also provide the invoice as proof of purchase (personal data hidden)

so, Are these fake AirPods or could they still be real?

Any help is really appreciated, I’m a bit stressed about it.

If these turn out to be fake, can someone tell me what I should say to the seller to request a refund or dispute this?

IMPORTANT: i need to know it in 2 days T.T

i got these last weekend and have been wearing the left earbud at work. the whole reason i got them is bc they're supposed to last 8 hours, but it's been dying in about 4. the serial number in the settings and on the physical headphones match and it came up on apple care when i searched that way. are they real?

Noise Cancelling works okay, but tranparency doesnt do anything. The Shells feel very plastic.
Apple warranty states they are covered until Dec 2026.

The Box has no serial Number whatsoever.

The case build doesn’t feel as premium as my Pro 1s, and the indicator light looks more blurred than crisp and sharp.
