An 80-year Argus collection is finally being dispersed — thought you folks might appreciate seeing some of it

My dad, Curtis, has been collecting cameras for about 80 years, and while going through everything, I've discovered that his Argus collection is much more extensive than I realized.

There are 37 Argus lots in his current auction, including C3s, lenses, movie cameras, and groups of vintage Argus cameras—and quite a few that I've had to stop and research because I didn't even know they existed.

I'm sharing a few photos here because I figured this would be one of the groups most likely to appreciate them. I don't know much about Argus, but I did have the pleasure of accompanying him to one of the annual meetings of the Argus Collector's Group in Ann Arbor back in 2018 along with a visit to the Argus Museum. It was fun to see my Dad in his element.
