Hi!

So I'm helping a friend of mine with digitizing her paperwork and forms. She's a therapist. She wants to convert her forms to digital PDFs and she is wanting to make sure the signatures are HIPAA compliant.

From some research, I *think* that if her PDF forms have a space for a drawn signature, and a checkbox declaring the signature is that of the printed name/person signing, it SHOULD be HIPAA and contract-legal compliant, yes?

She is sending the forms via a secured patient-provider platform, and they are fillable PDF files that will be sent back to her through that platform. Is there anything special she needs for the e-signatures?
