My partner loves Ark Nova and she's played a lot of games on BGA. She's around 250-300 rated but she feels frustrated that she can't progress more than that. It was her birthday last week, and I wanted to get her some coaching classes as a gift.
Does anybody in the community offer such classes? Please reach out!

Apologies if posts like this aren't enjoyed or encouraged here but I recently had the idea to try to use the game pieces (and rules, to an extent) to map out real zoos in the world. Before giving it a go, I figured surely someone else has had this idea but I was unable to come up with anything searching around.
So, I went ahead and tried it out, starting with my hometown Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. It was a fun little creative venture to match up the animals as best as possible and then using the appropriate enclosures, try to recreate the actual shape/geography of the real life zoo. The most obviously glaring difference will be that I did not use a map from the game because a map would be way to small and not the right shape.
It was more successful than even I thought it would be so I am considering turning this into a regular thing to do other zoos in the world. I will take better pictures another time (minor changes have happened since this shot), including which animals and sponsors are included, as well as a summary of rules that were bent or completely broken in order to match the zoo as close as possible.
Comment which of these animals you like to play the least, top comments get eliminated.

My current game is very discolored and we are planning to buy a new one. While I'm not a fan of sleeves due to how they affect the look and feel, I think this is a must if we get a new Ark Nova. So, do you have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
