Hey all; I’ve been looking at this game for a while now but with the good, I’ve also seen the bad. It seems like a big update just released and I’m wondering if this game is worth a base price of $11.24.
If I do get the game is there any must have dlcs? I would be playing solo and don’t want to wait for hours for something to get tamed, so hopefully you can change those settings too. This game looks like something I would like since I like games such as; Conan Exiles, Enshrouded, Valheim ect. Just wondering more so based on the bugs and such. Thanks!!!

Anyone thought of making a mod that limits the structures a player can build/own for a unique small tribe pvp experience?

Make it 20 + ( 5 * crafting level).

Apply this to a world with extra strong structures and indestructible metal structures.

Edit: The point of this mod is to make a PVP server combat focused not raid focused, especially for those who cant be on 24/7, without many of the issues of ORP.

Im on xbox series x and when i boot the game all maps say they aren’t downloaded but they are ever since the genesis pt 1 update its been broken can anyone help me?

How do you craft chrome fridges on genesis? I thought I saw it in the crafting menue but now its gone. although I wont need one for another 25 days it would be helpful to know how you get one.

I want to turn on pve mode to get rid of cryosickness, but I don’t want it messing with my settings or my world, does it change anything other than PvP and cryopods?

My character was in the cloud when Gen1 dropped and I was on Gen1 hours later when it rolled back. It's not on any of my regular servers and I haven't had a chance to try the official Genesis server yet.

Is there a link to the form I can fill out to recover my character? The discord message just says #unknown-channel form.

Also, are they going to restore my boss unlocks and expansion point unlocks? I was lvl 175 and if they can't fully restore it I may just ask for a refund for the dlc and call this my last Ark

Anyone find a fix for unofficial nitrado servers having 5 second delay after genesis? We play on astraeos, I uninstalled all mods, Dino wiped and performed multiple restarts. However, it remains unplayable. Zero latency before patch.

He got cancer and is like 3 Months in the hospital ( we got him a PS5 and a tv to the hospital so he can play ark and it's not boring for him)

there he was fking happy when gen1 and dragontopia dlc dropped (may it's the last few things he will see from it) now he lost his character you took him to tousend of hours of time dinos what he loved now you give him a solution hey file a character restoration

Okey but thousands of people lost it too

I'm expecting it will take one month to restore all characters

I will pay for it when you restore his character say me a price!!

I wanted to get back into ark just because im bored and want fun.

i was wondering if anyone on pc has tried to compress their ark size, and what has the result been

How much space is the game after being compressed?
did you see a decrease in performance?

As the title says there is nothing spawning in my snow biome. There are beavers and otters on the frozen lake and I saw ONE of those dlc rabbits in the whiteout zone...the rest is barren.

Also, in the ocean biome all the water creatures around the island I warped to are like level 450 and untamable?

What gives man?

Bro I had to go find my character on lost colony, ran around to the nearest thing to transfer… already too late. Now I can’t get back on the server. And I had a sweeet spot… RAGE
