Solo trip itinerary in Arunachal under 10k (starting from ICR)

23F,

planning my first solo trip within Arunachal Pradesh. I'll be starting from ICR only and my total budget is 10k

Could anyone please suggest places to visit other than Ziro? I'd really appreciate recommendations for:

Budget-friendly destinations

A 3–5 day itinerary

Affordable stays and transport

Must-visit spots etc ....

I know my budget is quite limited, but that's all I have at the moment. Any suggestions or travel tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Itinerary review and suggestions

I'm planning a trip to Arunachal Pradesh, starting from Guwahati.

  1. Are there any tour groups or operators available in Guwahati that offer trips to Tawang or other parts of Arunachal.

  2. Is it possible to visit places like Dirang, Sela Pass, Tawang, Bum La Pass, and other nearby attractions using shared cabs?

  3. How does the transport system work there? Are shared cabs easily available between towns, or is it better to hire a private vehicle or join a group tour?

The budget for the trip is 40 k including flight from chennai to guwathi return also flight

Hello Everyone,

Hello, it's been a whole year I along a few local arunachali freinds I met in collage days have started a small-scale tourism and hospitality business.

We have seen a very positive response from the travellers' community, and we are looking to extend our services to some more interesting places to add to our list of offerings.

The whole team is from Arunanchal - mostly Tawang and West Kameng. And we want to work with more local individuals who might want to join us as ground staff/ drivers/ sales people - We want to create some great tours which explore some more offbeat and naturally blessed locations (must have adequate facilities to support a hospitality business)

Pls suggest to me any such location where we should go for. 🙏

And if you are someone from Arunachal and want to join us and move forward - even as a freelancer or part-time (to make a side-income)

PLS SHARE IN COMMENT

I Need a job

Hey,

I am looking for any kind of job that can pay enough for me to have a shelter and food to eat 3 times a day, and also a Little time for myself. I have done my degree in electrical engineering although to be honest I don't have any knowledge in that subject, I have done masters in cognitive neuroscience in which I did perform proficiently and also finished a research internship at IIT mandi by submitting a research thesis.

I am looking for peace and some calm.

Hope someone has something that can be a fit for me, if so please let me know in the com ments or dms, I shall send you a copy of my resume and hopefully I get what I am looking for.

Thankyou.

Do i need to get an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Arunachal Pradesh? I'm from the NE States and will be traveling there for work.

It'll be at least a week, or possibly longer, depending on how the work progresses. The duration of my stay is uncertain.

Is anyone following this ?
Heard liver doc was also once funded by Soros (like Dhruv Rathee ) . Due to a lot of controversies he deleted his twitter account and disappeared. Now he has appeared again and is making headlines .

Is it safe to travel from Dibrugarh to Anini in July? Need advice from locals and recent travelers.

I’m planning to travel from Dibrugarh to Anini in mid July using public transportation. I have a few buffer days built into my itinerary, but I’m a bit concerned after reading about landslides and road closures during the monsoon.

A few questions:

  1. How reliable is public transport during the monsoon? Are shared Sumos/buses usually available?
  2. If there’s a landslide or road closure, are roads typically cleared within a day, or can they remain closed for several days?

Any tips or precautions you would recommend for someone traveling during this time?

I’d really appreciate hearing from locals or anyone who has traveled this route recently. Thanks!

Yanung Jamoh Lego

Hello everyone. I am trying to contact Yanung Jamoh Lego Clinic in Pasighat regarding a family member who is undergoing treatment for cancer. Unfortunately, we have been unable to reach the clinic by phone or email. Is anyone in Pasighat willing to help by confirming whether the clinic is open and whether they are accepting consultations? Any genuine assistance or local contact would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

ILP - Districts?

I just registered my gf and her sisters for an ILP for Itanagar and Kra Daadi districts for 14-days.

They will be staying at Palin in Kra Daadi, and going to drop off one of the sisters who's starting a government job.

Is an ILP with the above districts okay (on ground) or do we need to make another ILP with all the districts on-route? If this ILP will be okay, can they also travel around on the same ILP?

Thanks, and apologies - I couldn't find an answer to this!
