Hi I enjoy pourovers and good coffee in general just wondering if there are any incredible coffee shops or roasters nearby?

After two years renting on Lake Ave my husband and I are leaving due to our nightmare of a landlord. We both work from home so unfortunately we are looking for a larger place (3+ bedrooms). It seems like everything out there is seasonal. Anyone have a lead on a place?

Our lease is up on 9/1 so we can move in August or September.

Hey there - had a friend back out of a show at summer stage this weekend. I wanted to offload the ticket, but looks like I can’t transfer it? Has this happened to anyone before and know if that feature turns on as the event gets closer?
I know this is likely to prevent scalpers but I literally am just trying to make my money back at least somewhat 🫠

Hi i need some help im wondering if anyone here can offer some.

I got tickets for the Toadies Charmer tour at the Stony Pony. Unfortunately the entire event got rearranged and they are no longer the headliner + local H won't be playing. They are offering refunds which is great! However when we first got the tickets he transferred mine to me. Now for whatever reason transferring has been turned off by the event organizers. I am not able to transfer the ticket back in order to get a refund for my ticket.

How can I reach out direcetly? I have tried calling their number, emailing, and reaching out on social media but nothing. I just want my money back. I'm already upset that the event was totally changed out of nowhere and now I can't even get my money back. First time getting tickets for this venue and I'm extremely disappointed.

Don't worry about the vegan in the title. The food there is amazing and there are some really great vendors like us there as well. It is happening this weekend in Asbury Park across from the Convention center at Bradley Park. And we'll be there like I said selling our artisan made dog treats and all our toys and also cat stuff. It looks to be a great weekend weather wise.

Hello Asbury community! I’m writing this post in hopes of some guidance and understanding as I navigate being a functioning, social human being after college. Outside of working in town, which I no longer am, and socializing with those coworkers, I’ve found it kind of difficult to meet women in my age range (mid 20s) to become friends with. In college, I met my roommates and best friends through Facebook and mutual friends, which made it much easier, but outside of my partner and old coworkers I am very much not a part of any group and lacking in the girlfriend department at the moment. Plus, I am born and raised all over northern Jersey, so I don’t really have any childhood connections down here I can look to. & unfortunately I’ve just always been on the shier side of things, which I am working on lessening though. I’m planning on joining a book club either this month or the next depending on when I’m free, but with my work schedule being weekday evenings it’s harder to find things in that realm that align super well. But I will try either way. For me female friendships are some of my most valued relationships and super important to have, so I am very much eager to have that here in the area. I know this might seem silly and very “Gen Z doesn’t know how to socialize” of me, but at the end of the day I am not willing to fall into an anti-social depression trap and I need advice. I'm looking for a place to do karaoke on a Friday or Saturday night. However, it's for a small bachelorette party (5 of us) and I read on here that they don't love when bach parties come in to Georgie's because it's supposed to be an LGBTQ space (and I totally understand that and would not want to be intrusive). Are there other places that do weekend karaoke that would work better for a bachelorette group?

I’ve been looking up sports bars online (and this subreddit! Thank you!). My question is a bit more specific, the Knicks/Sixers will be on Amazon Prime Friday night. Does anyone have any recs for bars that will definitely have the game on?

Edit: went to Asbury Ale House, they had the Knicks game on MANY tvs and had the audio on at the bar near the arcade games! Skewed younger, but great spot to watch the game.
