So I bought a beach day pass that I didn’t wind up using, so now I’m wondering if it’s worth saving for another day. I assume they rotate what color wristband they use daily, but is there any predictable pattern to what color they use on which day? If so, I’ll save my wristband and come back on that day.

Maybe not but what if the off-season version of the shore is almost a different place entirely? Quieter, more local, genuinely more interesting in a lot of ways. This truck without a plate that was clearly trying to pass itself as a police car was driving super slow and slowing down whenever he passed one of my neighbors who are Hispanic. He identified himself as a firefighter, but when the police came they would not confirm he is a firefighter. I’m in Neptune right outside of Asbury Park. Be safe.
