ADB HireVue / pre-recorded video interview – anyone done one recently?

Hi all,

Has anyone recently gone through a HireVue / pre-recorded video interview with the ADB, particularly for an experienced professional or international staff position?

I’ve been invited to complete one as a screening stage before candidates are shortlisted for the next stage. I’ve been told it will involve one pre-recorded question, with my response recorded through HireVue.

I’d be really grateful to hear from anyone who has done this recently:

  • What question were you asked?
  • How much preparation time and response time were you given?
  • Did you get more than one attempt to record your answer?
  • Was there a practice question before the actual interview?
  • What happened after the HireVue stage, and how long did it take to hear back?

I’m particularly interested in experiences from senior/specialist or international staff recruitment, is possible.

Thanks very much!

Status updates for Communication Specialist position

Hi everyone! Did anyone here apply for the Communication Specialist (TI 1) position (Job number #260663) that closed on July 3rd? I’m just wondering if anyone has heard back yet or noticed any status changes on ACES. Thanks!

Is this a normal ADB Graduate Program recruitment process? Recruiter contacted me through Myridius

I’m a graduating BSIT student from the Philippines and recently applied for the ADB IT Graduate (Assistant) / Talent Accelerator Program.

I was contacted by a recruiter from Myridius (based in India), who conducted an initial phone interview on Viber and then sent me the TOR and a CIF form. They asked me to submit the signed CIF and a cover letter.

I’m expected to graduate next month. I initially thought I wasn’t eligible, but they clarified that I can still apply as long as I have completed my degree requirements with no backlogs.

The recruiter is based in India, which made me a little unsure, and they haven’t replied since I submitted my documents.

Has anyone here gone through the ADB Graduate Program or been contacted by Myridius? Is this a normal recruitment process?
