Gold (Too Many Pay Walls)

Anyone think that the amount of paid purchases with gold is insane?

I mean let me get started by saying to access unlimited posting - dms - etc it’s about 40 dollars right?

So then why after paying that amount, are features such as photos in dms, and different chat styles still locked behind paywalls?

It makes zero sense. Every other competitor apps which you can talk to bots in (like Cai) give you access to the models and other features as part of your subscription!!!

Will definitely be moving on once my subscription ends.

Local customization for public bots (PFP, typing habits, etc)

Honestly so tired of finding a bot that’s 90% perfect except for one stupid detail... like a low-res pfp or some annoying formatting quirk that keeps breaking immersion.

People always say "just recreate it yourself," but that makes no sense. You can’t see the creator's hidden prompts, you lose all the starter posts and setup context, and you end up wasting money regenerating posts that barely hit 30% accuracy anyway just to fix a picture.

It’d be so much better if we could just make local edits on our own end. Let us swap the picture locally or suppress a weird typing habit on our screen, with a reset to default button if we want to go back to OG. It affects literally nobody else.

And if creators care that much about "artistic vision," they could just add a toggle in character settings to hard-lock their bot if they really want to. But keep it open by default so most bots are customizable without creators needing to manually hunt through settings to turn it on.

Feels like a simple QoL fix instead of forcing people to burn gold remaking bots from scratch. What do y'all think?

2 Newbie Questions

  1. I want to get the reward for making 3 characters, but it stipulates it must include no ai generated content or profile pictures. Are people actually using real peoples photos for their references or am I misreading the restrictions? I'd prefer to just generate an image on another site and put it in. (I generally like following the rules but this seems a bit weird to me)

  2. I usually roleplay on sites like ai dungeon where you create a full story. Do characters track you posts if you are trying to create a progressive narrative for your profile? Or is the real roleplaying in the chats only?
