I have an old Seiko Automatic that my dad bought more than 25 years ago. How do I get it working. Considering its an automatic I tried movement.. but don't think that will ever work considering that nobody wore it for years.

Is it worth getting it repaired. I know it's not a premium watch, but have heard that even authorised service centres swap the parts..

I have recently got interested in watches.. however I don't see myself buying anything more expensive than a few hundred dollars.

Something a little out of the ordinary.
