Just got my battle xp yesterday. I've seen way too many videos telling me I need to immediately install dark os or pan4elec, is the stock os really that bad? This is my first handheld so I have no point of reference (but I used emulators on android and PC before).

So I guess my question is: is it really a world of difference installing other os from the stock os? Am I missing out?

Just got my G350, and I love it, I dont mind the stock firmware even if its a bit janky here and there, but I would like to add a crt shader for some PS1 games.
Do I need to install a custom firmware for that?
