It's time guys 😥. I failed to get into BITS , I scored 221 marks in BITSAT but it was not enough, i actually could have got in if I had applied for msc Bio , so yes this is a consequence of my choice, . It would be a lie to say I don't regret my choice .

I got 93.2 percentile on my first attempt in mains . In April attempt I gave it a bit more work and improved it to 96.5 percentile. At that point I should have realised IIT is beyond . Yet I naively put more effort to crack adv , sure I cleared the exam and got 28k rank but it was not enough to get into IIT. I seriously should have considered BITS an real option . I should have joined this subreddit sooner. I have a lot to rant about

Listen up , fellow failures . I know many of us didn't get into BITS, but it is not the end of the world , we can build good careers if we are willing to put in the effort , remember this heavy feeling of failure .Forgetting it would be a crime , whenever you again go back to doing the same mistake , this feeling must haunt you .

And , Future asprints if you really want a benchmark for BITSAT prep , then look at 2024 cutoffs ( that year was the worst possible scenario) , prepare keeping that in mind .

Will future BITS cutoffs be like this , I think Yes . High 2024 cutoffs effected 2025 cutoffs causing them to drop , low 2025 cutoffs effected 2026 . 2026 is the correction phase and cutoffs will mostly hover by just 2- 3 marks for for next 2 years . Unless BITS pulls another mad overbooking strat , prepare with 2024 cutoffs in mind

Are people in civil in bits hyderabad allowed to sit for tech roles and enroll in any minor available?

Exam tough ka talk hone ke baad bhi almost 18 marks inflation in eni , eee branches....

I have ~6 months left for BITSAT and my Class 11 preparation is quite weak. I’m starting to seriously prepare now and my goal is Top 500.
