Hi I started working in the tire bay a few weeks ago, and was really straining lifting some of the truck tires up to the screws/bolts when putting tires back on. A few days ago I woke up with horrible neck pain and had to call out. They told me I couldn’t call out because I’m still within 90 days of hire and my next day is tomorrow. Can I tell them I want to do a light day tomorrow as far as lifting stuff? Because sometimes I will work in the store as well.

Im a cashier at BJs and I was told by my front end Supervisor today if I dont get credit cards I will receive corrective action what does that even mean? I can't force members to apply for credit cards.

Hello. My BJ’s membership expires today, I heard that you can renew it for cheap. And apparently you can upgrade the level and make it Club+ instead of basic for something like $10. Please tell me how to do this.

Hey all, I've been a member at BJs for years now and usually I'll renew my membership at the register when the screen says it's time to renew because I usually forget.

But today I got a fraud alert for a $60 charge for BJs membership on my card.

We haven't been in 2 weeks and my membership doesn't expire until the end of this month 7/30).

I already froze my card but is BJs renewing memberships automatically a month out?

Any help or similar stories would be greatly appreciated!

Needing a career change and I wanna go for an overnight forklift job as I have previous experience with one. I prematurely applied for overnight forklift job before I got forklift certified. (I like overnights more than day shifts) Cancelled the interview the day before because I didn’t have one. Now I am forklift certified. Now I applied a week ago and got “no longer under consideration”

Should I keep applying or after a few weeks reapply?

Or given the crazy work environment given reviews on indeed I’m saving myself some heartache.

I’ve worked in basically every department in BJ’s. Only one that I haven’t worked in is gas station (my club doesn’t have one). What would you guys say is the worst department or at least your least favorite? I’d say bopic on a very busy day. I enjoy meat department the most though

No, I haven’t been spoken to yet, but I always tend to punch out like 10 or 15 or sometimes 20 minutes late. One time I punched out about an hour late because I’m just trying to clean up my area. But little worried I might get written up or spoken to for doing this a lot even though I’m actually still working. Should I be concerned?

Hello, so as the title says I got a call today from a recruiter about getting a job as an order fulfillment associate, asking to do an on the phone interview. Only got through 2 questions, she asked for my availability, and if I was able to start away, I said yes to starting but my availability is not open. She asked for the availability to which i said I need Saturday’s off. She said this would not be excepted, to which i said I could have open availability but would not be able to start right away (give my current job notice and all that.) from there she basically said this could not be accepted, but i could contact again if my availability changed. So I guess I’m just wondering if this position would be worth taking time off and possibly quitting my job for? The pay is essentially the same, and it is guaranteed 30 hours a week which is something I’m looking for. Just looking for any insights, if the company has any benefits like time and a half on sundays or anything like that that may make it worth it. Thanks!

Currently I am transitioning to college, and have a car payment. I'm looking to apply to my local BJ's when it opens. As of now I work at a place with fantastic management who are flexible, and understanding. The only down side is my current pay. I make 12.15 an hour, and I am wanting more money for my time. I've heard really negative things about BJ's but im at a loss, ive applied to more places than i can count.

I recently got an opportunity for an interview as a front end shift lead. Going on this sub I'm suprised at the things people say but not by much. Right now I'm a shift lead at a walgreens where I work overnight. However I have been trying to switch shifts to no avail. I was wondering what did the shifts look like? What time does the lead work and how is the work? I was originally thinking of staying with wags till September when school begins and working two jobs but I wanna know if its realistic with the schedule

Whether you genuinely have nothing to do and got down time OR you are simply not in the mood to do much of anything anymore that day due to mental health reasons or energy (because we’re so understaffed you need to slow down) What do you do to kill time? How do you make sure you don’t get caught?

Also if you had to guess how much time do you think you actually kill in an 8 hour shift?

The website clearly states they will price match shipped and sold by Amazon however the store flat out refuses to even consider Amazon. Any options?

And they make thousands of dollars off of this.. but won't pay someone to work until 930 to alleviate the stress of the closing manager? At least in my club.
