I don't even know if this is how the PRC actually constructs its questions, but I hope the RCs can make them closer to the real thing since that's the whole point of taking mock exams in the first place. The goal is to familiarize us with the actual PRC testing style, not with unnecessarily long pop culture analogies or fictional backstories.

I get that pop culture references can make psychological concepts easier to understand, but not every explanation needs to turn into a recap of The Hunger Games or Game of Thrones. A quick example is enough. Writing an entire paragraph connecting unrelated media to psychology starts to feel unnecessary and honestly distracts from the actual concept.

Skill issue? Maybe. But good test questions should be concise and aligned with the competency being assessed. Some questions and its majority of the stem is occupied by details that don't contribute to answering it. It buries a simple concept under an unnecessary amount of fictional exposition.

Hopefully this won't taken as something negative. I just want to let this out because it made me ??? after answering multiple tests in this RC and it's hard not to compare it to the past exams that may be long but it narrows straightly to the cases that actually happens in reality.

Hello, I had a problem with my school requirements so I had to wait until all my requirements were completed before booking a slot. However, the PRC Leris portal doesn't let me book an appointment anymore as all the branches near me have all their slots full. Magrerefresh pa ba yung portal para sa mga bagong slots? Today is the last day of application na rin kaya super stress. Badly need help. Thank you!

I’m currently reviewing for the upcoming boards and ask ko lang po for those who passed the boards last year, super naging helpful po ba yung TOS based reviewer ni St. Anne and Sir Job sa pag pass sa boards last year? Kasi initially ginagamit ko is from argeeow pero it felt kulang and ngayon ginagamit ko na for review is kay St. Anne and probably use Sir Job for recall. Thank you po!

gusto ko lang sana malaman kung may iba pa ring naghihintay at umaasa na magbukas pa ng additional slots. medyo nawawalan na rin po kasi ako ng pag-asa dahil halos pabalik-balik na ako sa portal simula pa kagabi hanggang ngayon, pero wala pa rin akong maabutang available na slot :—(

Hi! Since maraming nagsasabi na mas mahirap ang drills ng arjiow compared sa actual boards, meron po ba kayong alam na drills sa x or apps/website (plepared, conquer the be etc.) na ka-level ng difficulty sa actual boards. would be really happy to hear your suggestions po! thank you so muchh

I just got my NOA days ago and somehow I still feel hesistant and parang konti pa lang naaral ko especially sa Psychological Assessment.

The exam is just around the corner and parang day by day kinakabahan ako kasi parang hindi pa nga enough ang naaral ko and parang hindi ako nagpprogress sa drills. I was thinking na what if mag-no show, considered pa rin kaya yun as fail? Kinakabahan talaga ako :/

Hi. I am really helpless right now. Ab Psy palang natatapos kong i-review and I feel like wala akong nareretain na info. Masyadong marami akong responsibilities for the past months kaya nung 3rd week of June lang ako nakapag lock in. I am really afraid to fail kasi I feel like ang bagal ko mag review and parang wala naman akong nareretain. Any tips po para maretain nang maayos yung infos? And sa tingin po kaya ninyo kakayanin ko hanggang august mag review? Thank you!

Ano po ang best gamitin na TOS based reviewer sa ab psych? St. Aly,St. Anne or St. Kyuti? I only have more than a month to review so I cannot read all of them huhuhu

Hello pa rant po😭🤣. I’ve been reviewing for like almost 2 months pero this month lang yung lock in talaga.

Before pa lang, I’ve been having dilemma to take the boards or just get a job right after graduation. (Recent passer ako ng CHRA) and I also want HR Field. Especially right now andaming hiring😭.

I ranted about this dilemma to my mother and father (they are not pressuring me naman pero ewan ko MAS NA PPRESSURE TULOY AKO HAHAHAH)

My mom said, it’s okay to take one step at a time. Do the boards, pass or not, at least I tried, then proceed to applying jobs.

My dad said, mag hanap and apply na ng work while still reviewing and if makapasa man, get the job, while still reviewing for the boards, since most jobs is M-F lang naman and 8-5pm daw work. My dad is referring about his personal experience wayback because he was working and reviewing and still pass the LPT😭.

Ewan ko myghad, but personally I’m so nervous cause I feel like my foundation and learnings from school are not enough.

Note: Hindi po ako enrolled sa RC. Just self-review😭.

I only sent it last Monday and I emailed tuesday and today if they can expedite it since sa Monday na nga ang deadline ng filing of application. I plan on walking in sa CHED Regional Office on Monday kung hindi pa magrereflect na approved na this weekends. Para sakto sa appointment ko sa PRC sa Monday. Aabot pa kaya ako? If ever, iaallow kaya ng PRC na ifollow up ko na lang?

Cause i feel like being in a group is better than doing things as heavy as a board exam alone, hehe

Hi! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about this, so I decided to share some of the topics I remember from the BLEPP.

‼️DISCLAIMER: These are only the topics I personally remember. I could be mistaken, and there may be missing information since I took the exam last year. The PRC may have also changed the coverage since then.‼️

I’ll make this a thread and organize it by subject. Please check the comments for each subject area. I keep getting asked the same questions in private messages, so I thought it would be easier to compile everything here instead.

Hello! is there anyone here na nakapagfile sa prc kahit pending for verification pa ang nbi dahil may HIT. I honestly overlooked this issue and I was sort of kinakabahan since I was told that it's impossible na makuha ng rushed yung NBI clearance. Malapit na rin appointment ko sa PRC

Hi! Nag base ako sa List of Requirements na nakapost sa website ng PRC and ito yung needed:

Psychometrician

First-Timer:

Documentary Requirements: PSYCHOMETRICIANS:

1. PSA Birth Certificate

2. PSA Marriage Certificate/Contract (for married female applicants)

3. TOR in “Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology” (AB/BS) with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”. The TOR should further indicate completion (with sufficient credits) of the four (4) subjects as required by Law: Developmental Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and Psychological Assessment (First Timers and Repeaters)

4. CAV for those who graduated from Autonomous/Deregulated Schools and TOR without S.O. Number

5. NBI Clearance (valid at least 6 months as of the date of filing of the application)

6. Three (3) Certificates of Good Moral Character, preferably from school (faculty teaching major course duly noted by Department Chair, Discipline or Student Affairs Officer), employer or Guidance Counselor, duly signed by the issuing authority and under oath.

Now, while browsing sa blue app, nakita ko na need naka CTC ang photocopies ng TOR and Diploma? Huhuhu if magrerequest pa kasi ako ng CTC, di na talaga aabot since bukas na sched ko and last day na ng filing sa monday. Ano po ba dapat i-follow ko. Pls help ur girl out huhu

Hello po! huhu having a crisis right now, notarized na po kasi yung 3 GMCs ko then bukas palang ako bibili ng doc stamp. Mali po ba iyon? uulit po ba ako kumuha good moral? naiiyak na ko at gang july 6 nalang filing 😭😭
