I have an utterly unhealthy obsession with this one and no one to talk about it. It is flawless, the storyline, the chemistry, the communication and most of all the outfits and music.

Apparently a farm boy enrolling in an elite academy wasn't dramatic enough. We ALSO needed a childhood engagement, a rich heir with emotional constipation, AND a sophisticated nobleman potentially stirring up trouble. 💀😂

Aaron really said, “I just want an education,” and somehow ended up in a rich-boy romantic disaster. SIR, HOW DID WE GET HERE?! 😭💍

BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT CALEB AND AARON?! 👀❤️

THE CHEMISTRY. THE EMOTIONAL VULNERABILITY. THE HEALTHY COMMUNICATION?!

So I watched this gem recently (two days ago), totally unplanned - was putzing around >!on one of those "fren" sites!< looking for something else to watch after finishing 'I stole the Don's heart' - and this title card was there among several others.

I'd admit, I hesitated at first to watch it, but honestly the name intrigued me: 'The Pretty Omega was an Alpha' 🤔 hmmm, colour me curious to see this "pretty Omega/Alpha."

Well needless to say, the fact that I'm writing this review rec means I am glad I took the chance and watched it.

It was, for want of a better word: wholesome!

Sweet and funny (some of the sassy banter between MC and ML elicited genuine chuckles from me, for example the post intro quote).

It also had a good amt of steam (not necessarily overtly spicy, but the chemistry between leads makes up for any lack of heavy hotness).

No cringey humiliation rituals, and low-to-non toxic (there's a resto scene that "could" be considered initially toxic, but...).

And dare I say, it even has a lesson to be learned with regards to valuing self etc.

A nice palette cleanser from some of the heavier fare.

Anyone else who watched it, thoughts?
