I’ve already had the Key switch issue repaired under warranty but the bike was in the shop for over a month now the bike has developed a vibration that is an intense buzzing where I can only ride for 15-20 minutes before my hands, feet,knees or butt start to go numb. It pains me to have to think about getting rid of it because it checks all the boxes for me except the reliability one now…
Hey y'all, frequent poster of this sub at this point with the problems my 2020 s1000rr has. So just confirmed that one of the coil packs have gone bad and my bike is misfiring. Do any of y'all have any idea on how difficult it is to replace on my own?
I do basic maintenance like oil changes, chain maintenance, etc. on my bike but the most mechanically difficult thing I've personally done on a bike was replace the clutch plates on my old R7. Just wondering how challenging it is to replace all 4 coilpacks on my own.
A nearby shop is quoting me around 4 hours of labor, around $500 in labor pretty much, thanks. I also found some OEM coil packs on ebay, just wondering if these are the right ones. I believe the ones I'm supposed to purchase are the ones with the 7924318-01 parts number. Thank you.
Any good dyno tuners in the Midwest? I am in Iowa but willing to haul.
Curious if anyone can recognize the rattling sound on the video. I don't think throttle or breaks affect it and it's usually more noticeable once I ride for a while and bike is hot. It can be some loose body work - but I struggle to identify it.
It's definitely not the camera noise since I can hear it myself while riding and it bothers me even through the earplugs.
Just wondering if anyone can help me with the clutch cable play on my k67. Thanks, also when I loosen the locking screw on the clutch cable, the adjusting screw doesn’t move at all.
I am coming up on my 6300 mile scheduled maintenance on my 2025 k67 and was wondering how much it costs at a dealer near you. Will I void the warranty if I perform the maintenance myself and get a gs-911 and clear the code myself? I can obviously do my own oil and filter, brakes, etc. to cut down on costs, but unsure if I should still bring it in and have them take a look at everything else…
2025 k67 dealer wants $128 for oil filter, 4 liters oil, and crush washer.
I heard you want to run OEM oil in these machines but wow! I was expecting closer to $80.
What are you guys paying? Any alternatives?

I’m thinking to get a pani v4s, but i’ve hold on for months - firstly because the s1k still does the job, and maybe it has done it TOO well… that im starting to see why ducati might be more fun.
But the main reason is because i’ve been hearing and seeing parts melting and such for the panigale v4, or seeing blisters or multiple people in my country youtube vlogs also mentioned the heat just pierces through your jeans as if it’s nothing.
Anyone have lived with the gen6/7 v4?
Currently i dont even notice any heat from this s1k, it dosen’t even register in my brain that the bike is packing heat, for testing purposes i tried riding in running shorts, running shoes to a housing park nearby and be absolutely unbothered by s1k heat.
How hot is v4 pani for you?

I’m looking for some help diagnosing a problem with my 2009 BMW S1000RR (K46).
The bike recently started behaving strangely and I’m not sure where to start looking.
What happened:
However, while riding I noticed another problem:
Then, when I pulled the clutch in, the engine stalled again.
So the combination of symptoms is what really confuses me.
I’m wondering if this could be related to:
The bike is a 2009 model, so it is one of the early K46 bikes.
Has anyone experienced this exact combination of symptoms or worked on a K46 with similar behavior?
I have already been to an official BMW shop, although they couldn't replicate the problem thus not help.
I’d really appreciate any suggestions on where to start diagnosing it and what I should check first. I’m happy to provide additional information or test specific things if someone can guide me through the diagnosis.

I recently purchased a new to me 2023 S1000RR, and the first mod was to flash the ECU to cut the chains from the EPA restrictions.
My GS911 arrived and I would like to activate DRLs and a few other things. Will coding these changes via the GS 911 overwrite in any way the flashed ecu?

Hey y’all, got a 2020 s1k, I just bought it used maybe 400 miles ago. It’s got a full akro system but the previous owner didn’t specify where the ECU got flashed but he said it did get flashed.
What I’m wondering is today out of nowhere the bike started to feel super boggy and choppy at idle and lower rpm’s in 1st gear. Now I know that a liter bike at lower rpm’s in 1st gear is natural choppy but this feels way worse.
Idle it sounds terrible around 2k rpm’s, and I literally keep stalling the bike when I literally never did before today. Not too sure what’s going on, but I’m thinking maybe I just send the ECU in for a reflash by Bauce tune.

I keep seeing pictures on this sub of nice ass mufflers and how great the bike looks without thay massive breadbox and its had me thinking about changing mine for a full system but I live in California.
Any of you been stopped? I know alot of cops here ride as well and feel like theyd instantly know its not oem
