[Neo-Soul] Hand Passed Weight

HAND PASSED WEIGHT
A contemporary R&B and neo-soul record built around a simple idea: words rarely stay the same once they’re passed on.
The song plays with language, tone, and perception, showing how meaning shifts depending on who’s speaking, who’s listening, and what they bring to the conversation. The same sentence can carry different weight from one hand to the next.
Driven by jazz-influenced guitar, deep sub-bass, swung drums, and intimate vocal delivery, “Hand Passed Weight” sits in the space between intention and interpretation—where communication becomes something larger than the person who started it.
Written and performed by Broken Rhyme Lab.
