Got our Seal! Only one fob and NFC card

I'm guessing it's standard here that you get a fob, an NFC card and the app to use.

Coming from a much older car, the idea of not having a fob/key is super weird for me.

As there will be two of us using the car, I'm wondering what others do. Does the app really only allow one user/address per car?

If you're a card user. How do you like it? Do you just keep it in your pocket like you would a key? Does it work consistently?

Seal owners - Start Nav from voice?

Hi all,

I can no longer use voice to navigate e.g. "Hey BYD, navigate to xxxxx". It says it's unable to access this feature at this time.

However, if I already have the Nav app open, it works fine. Which makes me think it's a permissions issue.

The service centre initailly said I must be using the wrong voice command; once I explained that I have been using the same command since new and the command still works once the app is opened, it change to "it's a known issue for Seal & SL7". They've said they won't get told when it's fixed, might be OTA or through service updates and aren't keeping any list to notify customers when it is fixed.

It seems like a total palm off; so the question is, am I the only one or are they telling the truth?

Do you also have this issue?

How do you use the lock door button in the boot?

I’ve had my seal for some time, but I haven’t solved the mystery of what i think is a lock door button next to the close boot button in the boot. It would be very useful if I could find out how to use it. Can you solve the mystery?
