We have a 2024 Seal Premium which we love.
Since we bought the car, I have felt the climate control was ineefective when heating.
I was driving the car yesterday evening and even after a 40 minute journey with the temp set to 27 it was blowing only what I would generously describe as tepid air.
How is your climate control?
I've seen a few car reviews comment that there are a few tenths of a second delay on the accelerator, and the lift off. Also, the traction control cuts power harshly. Any real world experience of these?

I have a BYD Seal 5 2025 DM-i (DiLink 2).
After installing the firmware (Di2.2H_ota_26.1.1.2601212.1) from telgram "just_byd",
the update was successful and everything is working normally.
However, ever since that installation, my DiLink unit rejects all subsequent updates. Whether I try Chinese firmware from reliable sources (such as Di2.1H_ota_26.1.1.2602060.1 or Di2.1H_ota_26.1.1.2504290.1)
or even try re-flashing the same version from "just_byd",
the update bar flashes instantly, and after a reboot, it gives me an 'Update Failed' error.
It has been suggested that this issue occurred because the firmware I installed is actually intended for the BYD Seal 06, despite both models running on DiLink 2.
How can I solve this and force-flash the correct firmware for my specific model plz "
My 24’ Seal has had the rear drive shaft replace after vigorous vibrating - less than a year ago. At my 40k service today I mentioned that it’s experiencing vibration again and the investigations showed both a diff oil leak and rear drive shaft fault. They are working with BYD to likely repair the drive shaft again under warranty. However, 2 major faults with a vehicle less than 2 years old under the consumer guarantee warrants more than just a repair. I’m considering raising this with the original deal to seek compensation for decreased car value/ time off road/ unacceptable product quality, or a complete replacement of vehicle. Has anyone else dealt with something like this with them? How did you go about it and what was the outcome if so?

I picked up my seal on 13 June, my big mistake for not ensuring the BYD app was completely set up before leaving.
until now the QR code still wouldn't appear and there is no option in setting which brings it up, I have already got in touch with BYD sales person from byd haberfield (sydney), they asked for my VID about 2 weeks ago.
I assumed it would be activated within a few days but I have no estimated time frame and nothing to work with, the salesperson is starting to ghost me when I follow up.

Thanks for everyone's help, I have just called the customer service, the gentleman on the other end verified my information, told me he has key in the information into the system and advised me to check the app in 7 days
I know it's not much, but at night the tray under the main screen is a black pit of darkness. We want to store the garage opener there so I don't have to keep opening up the storage bin but it's invisible there.
Anyway, this is just a strip of blue COB LEDs with a dimmer board and 12V lighter plug mostly hidden behind the kick panels. It turns on with the car and apart from being too bright, does a great job. Just need to wind it back a bit further.
This has just popped up as an option on my instrument display. Nothing comes up when I use the built in map or android auto.
Amap is a Chinese app that isn't great outside of China. Has anyone used it?

Went to drive home from weekend away and saw a warning on the dash for low tyre pressure on one of the rear tyres. Luckily was only a 100m from the local servo so pulled in to check it out. Big metal roofing screw embedded in the tyre.
Pumped it up then used the tyre repair kit to seal it. Got home safely (190km) stopping and checking a few times on the way. I think I got lucky and may need to consider an aftermarket spare wheel set.
Wondering if anyone knows if you can purchase a replacement bottle of the sealant, OEM or after market? I tried removing the empty bottle immediately after using it but seemed to be locked on.

BYD Seal 2024
So I was having left pull on my steering so I go the my dealer for wheel alignment. After the alignment, now I got right pull on my steering. Is this job good or bad? Since there are some values that are getting farther from spec, though still within spec. Should I go to another 3rd party reputable shop for re-alignment? Also SAI is out of spec, should I be worried?
