Tried their matcha latte to test it out as a basic matcha and it passed to i tried their earl grey and Boom it passed again. I’m not the very bitter matcha drinker so i really love this cause there’s umami but no bitterness at all. You can taste the earl grey with the matcha really well & you don’t have to pay for sub-oat. Love it.
LONG POST AHEAD
My friends and I rented a court. We usually meet up rarely, like once or twice a year. Then during our play, this old guy around his late 40s or early 50s went inside our court with his paddle and played without our permission. He just went inside and said "Hampang ta ah!" and pointed my friends na "Oh ikaw da kag diri ka"
Got shocked??? Like, this is just our only time to bond and meet, that’s why we rented privately and did not play open play so we could make time man since we’ll meet up again after pila naman ka months.
He also offered us, “Tudluan ta kamo,” even though we did not ask him. My other friend told him, “Sagad nana sila kay ga tourna na sila,” then he replied, “Hindi mana ka kabalo.”
I mean, there's nothing wrong mag pa tudlo, pero para mag sulod lang gulpi kag tudlo without asking???? Like WTF, di man siya namon personally kilala. (Fyi, My friends are playing tournaments kag ga coach man, and some of us are also training for tennis, pero our play kagina was just for fun lang gid).
I was pissed off since he responded that way to my friend. Abi ya guro funny siya kay sige pa siya kadlaw, pag tulok ya sakon, hindi na ma drawing tsura ko lol. First time lang gid ni namon na encounter and first time man namon sa amo ni na court.
But our point was that the time was running, then he did not pay anything, and he just played around for almost 1 game while coaching my friends and teasing them.
I thought he was just gonna talk to us or may i-ask something or hagad tourna, but he stayed, played (free loader yarn), kag dala hisa namon. So my friend asked him, “Wala ka ya court? Kadto nato sa mga upod mo.” But he refused.
At this point, I was really pissed off, so I said, “Dugay pani? San o pata ya maka hampang kay dugay naman ta hindi ka kitaay naman bala!”
He’s hard-headed, gapa bungol siya sakon gina hambal biskan kapila ko na ma sulit. So I asked again, “Te dugay pana?” And he responded, “Te sin o pinakasagad di?” I told him, “Ikaw na pinakasagad ah.”
After, he went out when he noticed that all of us were not comfortable with him... He was still looking at us even though he was already outside.
Has anyone else encountered this same guy at the pickleball court?
Hi guys kanamit ka Matcha_Stop. Any thoughts? Ga pop up sila sa Ayala
Hi ppl, looking for 5 restaurant reco pls para may pilian ko for dinner with fam. Tyia!
Hahaha. What is this?
This reminds me of a tactic I've seen from a well known pageant camp here in Bacolod. Instead of accepting the outcome, they seem to sensationalize not being chosen. It comes across as being sore losers because their bet wasn't selected for Miss World.
I honestly feel sorry for PowerH Camp and JV. The problem isn't confidence. It's when confidence turns into entitlement.
I still remember being at the mall once and seeing a group of PowerH kids, probably around 9 to 11 years old, wearing their uniforms with their moms. They walked heads held so high that it felt more like they were expecting attention than simply enjoying being children. Annoying na pag amo na ang mentalidad sang kabataan. Tikalon not confidence. These were kids who should have been laughing, playing, and just being kids. JV should put leash on her alagas. Imagine as early as 9-10++ year old pa lang tikalon na
To me, that's the downside of teaching young children as early that they're already stars instead of teaching them humility alongside confidence. When young people grow up believing they deserve the crown rather than understanding they have to earn it, disappointment becomes something they can't handle.
And that's exactly what this situation looks like. Yes, Their candidate won Lin-ay sang panaad from PowerH Camp, expecting so much of being picked to represent Miss World, but when cards didn't flip their way, instead of celebrating the winner, the conversation has shifted into making not being picked the bigger story. Sensationalism. Hampang gd ni JV.
Real queens know how to win with grace. They also know how to lose with dignity.
Is it really okay for one player to join two different skill categories in the same tournament?
One player joined Women’s Doubles Beginner and also Women’s Doubles Novice. The concern is, she really plays well. This is not to insult her because clearly, she is a good player. But after a protest was already raised, the organizer still allowed her to continue playing in both categories.
And guess what? She reached the championship in both Beginner and Novice and became champion in both.
Honestly, it feels disappointing. Not because she won, but because the purpose of having categories seems to lose its meaning.
Beginner is supposed to be for beginners. Novice is supposed to be another level. If one player can dominate both, then maybe the category placement should have been reviewed more carefully.
This kind of situation can discourage other players, especially those who joined in good faith, hoping for a fair and balanced competition. Players prepare, pay, travel, and give their best. The least they deserve is a category that is properly screened and fairly implemented.
Again, this is not about hating on a player. Good players deserve recognition. But tournament rules and protest decisions should also protect fairness for everyone.
Hopefully, organizers will take concerns like this seriously next time.
Just wanted to share what happened to us last night because it honestly shook us.
My mom and I were at SM North carrying heavy grocery bags, so we decided to take a taxi since there was already a queue outside the entrance.
When we got in, I noticed the driver’s phone was open and he was playing Solitaire. At first, I assumed he’d put it away once we started driving, but he didn’t.
As we were leaving SM, we reached an intersection and the driver was about to turn when he suddenly slammed on the brakes because a pickup truck unexpectedly appeared. The pickup was also in the wrong since it came from a one-way lane, but what really concerned us was that the driver didn’t seem to notice it right away because he was looking at his phone.
After that near miss, instead of saying something about our safety, he just commented that the other driver would’ve had to pay a lot if they had collided.
My mom became uneasy and started observing him more closely. She then politely reminded him, “Sir, pabantay lang sa dalan ha kay gab-i na.” We hoped that would make him put his phone away, but he continued playing Solitaire with one hand on the steering wheel and the other on his phone, only glancing at the road every few seconds.
By the time we reached Bascon Cakes near Lopues San Sebastian, he was still playing. We didn’t feel safe continuing the ride, so we asked to get off, bought a cake as an excuse, and booked a Grab from there instead.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get the plate number because it was already dark (around 8:30 PM), so we can’t report it.
Just sharing this as a reminder to always trust your instincts. If a ride doesn’t feel safe, it’s okay to end it and find another way home. Stay safe, everyone.

Yesterday, a Bacolod-based coffee shop launched a challenge: anyone who could perfectly screenshot their product while it was continuously moving on-screen would win a free coffee.
One participant completed the challenge, only to find out afterward that he still had to pay the delivery fee. Disappointed, he confronted the coffee shop through Messenger, which eventually turned into quite a fiasco.
What makes the situation more surprising is that the participant is reportedly a Psychology graduate with plans to pursue graduate studies. Regardless of one's educational background, basic courtesy and respectful communication should still come first, especially when resolving a misunderstanding.
