Are badgers territorial?

Some context:

I work at a care home and we believe there's a badger living at the bottom of the garden (some residents claim they have heard and glimpsed it at night).

There is a cat that lives next door and is always coming into the care home and garden, and the place is pretty much his kingdom (as cats are lol).

What are the chances the two of them have ever gotten into a fight?

Apologies if it may seem obvious but I'm new to learning about badgers (never realised how adorable they are!)

When I eat Babybel cheese, I make sculptures from the wax. Someone requested I make a badger next, so here he is: Meet Buster

I hope art is allowed since I don’t know where else I should post him!

I went with a European badger since they have the clearest/easiest facial markings to scratch into the wax.
