After going back and forth between the Damier Pop, Kusama dots, classic canvas options, and a few leather Speedys… I finally decided on this Damier Heritage Speedy 25 and honestly I could not be happier with it.

I originally thought I wanted the bright blue Damier Pop the most, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I’d rather have a brand new bag with a discount in a colorway I could actually style every day…

I ended up finding this one brand new from 24S and it just arrived. I’m very happy with my decision. The photos online really don’t do it justice. The blues are super vibrant in natural lighting.

Also really happy with the 25 size. I’m a bigger guy and was worried it might feel too small, but it honestly has great presence without feeling oversized.

Got home from work and had happy mail!! The Coach Large Kisslock in black glazed leather. I did a size comparison with my Kisslock 27 for reference too. This bag is so soft and slouchy. Definitely a statement piece!

Took me an hour this morning to decide between my Celine Boogie’s or my LV side trunk. But here is another outfit with my Bottega boots and my newly acquired Louis Vuitton Side trunk.

I walked to lunch today and decided to take my 1st Gen Walkman. It dawned on me that I have the perfect carrier for it. 😆 It fits perfectly! It can hold my player, a tape, my wallet, phone, and keys.

Hi! Just got into luxury bags and I think I'm addicted. Glad to see like minded people!

Picked up this beauty as my new work bag, the Ferragamo Hug Tote in Testa di Moro.

The colour is stunning and the leather is divine. It did tend to collapse inward a little, so I added a half-height bag insert, which fixed the issue perfectly.

It’s been great seeing the brand reinvent itself, and I’m excited to see where it goes next.

Yesterday’s Columbus

On Tik Tok there is a, “Three Bag Challenge” going around where if you were to start your collection all over which three bags would you choose. So I decided to partake. I apologize for looking so causal. I WFH today and it is hot AF here in DC. Also Adele wanted to know which bags I chose so she is here too! Cheers!

It's a stunner. My first birkin. (We've bought others from Hermès for my wife, but this is *my* first). Evergrain 89 (black) leather. You can see the veining on the front, It's subtle but there.

My husband has recently had a lifestyle change in that he now has to have a medical IV infusion continuously, indefinitely. The bag provided is a generic canvas shoulder/cross body bag designed entirely for function (1st photo). We want to find him something fun he can carry this in but also his regular things (phone, wallet) because he’ll no longer have immediate access to his pockets because of the bag. The inside of the provided bag has all sorts of clips and Velcro etc to keep the gear in place so we do probably plan to keep it and just put it inside something else. Ideally some kind of pocket inside the bag so he doesn’t have to dig too much if he needs one of his regular items.

He is not at all a bag boy, being generally more interested in what makes it easier to work on his car than how he looks. But I’m a bag girlie and he’s game for something special, figuring if he’s gotta always carry it why not (I’m currently daily-ing a two-tone blue Gucci swing tote). The other photos are things I favorited before we knew how big all the equipment was so they won’t really work but give an idea of the vibes we’re thinking. It’s going to be with him 24/7 and carried around, put down, get a little beat up. Any recommendations would be appreciated!!
