I’m back in Ballia after 8 years and like any other place you don’t visit for 8 years this city has also grown past it’s boundaries. I mean the areas which used to be just empty farmlands are now densely populated colonies. However I’m still in disbelief that the entire main city is just 5kms and it’s done(rural area starts). It’s been weird roaming around the same market for the nth time while trying to find a new food spot(would appreciate some good recommendations non veg preferred). I 24M have Ballia as my native hometown but lived all my childhood and adulthood in different parts of the country due to parents' transferrable jobs but never lived in Ballia. Now, we're back here after parents got retired and I've to prepare for jobs right from here. But I don't know anyone of my age group in the town as all my cousins from both mom's and dad's side are like 10-15 years older than me and remain busy with their jobs in different cities.
I'm looking for a few people of similar age group who'd be interested in occasionally meeting in the evenings for things like:
- Walking around the town
- Exploring different streets and hidden places
- Trying local street food
- Talking about life, careers, books, movies, science, philosophy, technology, current affairs, or literally any interesting topic and exchanging each others perspectives on different domains and different walks of life.
- Seeing different perspectives and making genuine friendships
No drinking, partying, or anything like that—just looking for good company and meaningful conversations outside the house in the evenings, during weekends or anytime whenever your schedule and time allow you.

Hi guys, I know this might not be the right place to discuss land rates, but it would be a great help if anyone here could guide me. I came here because I honestly have no idea where else I should ask......
my father is the only child in our family, and the same was the case with my grandfather. My father is a very innocent person, and now my Patidars are trying to take advantage of this by offering a very low price for our land.
Does anyone here have any idea about the current rate of 1 kattha of land in Parasiya (Haldi), Ballia?
P.S. We don't live in Ballia, which is why we are not aware of the current land rates there. We have been living in a different city for more than 50 years (since my father's birth), so we have very little knowledge about the current situation.
